Hello all, my poor mom has been in constant pain for going on nearly a year now.

She has pain on her right & left sides. She has seen her regular doctor, she's been to the emergency room, and she's seen a specialist.

Through it all, X-Rays, MRI's etc. The doctors can find NOTHING to diagnose.

My mom is in her 70's and has type 2 diabetes, and I believe she has hypertension as well.

My mom suspects that it's nerve pain, and absolutely nothing works to help her with her pain. She says it feels like there are thorns sticking in her sides.

The doctors did prescribe a certain pain killer for her to take, but it is filled with numerous potential side effects, and my mom doesn't want to take them.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what this condition could be, if it sounds familiar to anyone?

My mom cannot take ibuprofen either.

Feel free to comment with anything. I'm tired of seeing in my mom in constant pain and nobody who is willing to help her. Thank you!

Sorry to hear this and I hope they can figure this out for her.

Until then, have you (or she) considered CBD or THC as a pain management solution?

    But……did they?

Honestly, I couldn’t guess what their numbers looked like, but I don’t remember hearing a lot of WOW about Watson. I could be wrong.

Watson was out most of the season, but I would still say he’s an upgrade on the field. Less of an upgrade off the field.

Ray Lewis was charged with murder and he is a local hero, team legend, and in the Hall of Fame.  I would not ever expect the NFL or the Ravens in particular, to really act in a socially responsible manner.  Will be some hand wringing and posturing though.

    This sounds very familiar.

The fact that Simpson is still on the wall continues to disgust me.

They knew he had a significant injury to his throwing arm and instead of shutting him down, let him gut it out leading to him having a very sub-par season.  Knowing that, they let him take all the blame for the team's performance and rarely stood up for the guy.  And to thank him for putting the team ahead of his own health, they dumped him unceremoniously for the Gummybear Bandit - Portrait of a @SS Grabber and made Mr. Massage the highest paid QB in the league.

Prior to that, he had a different OC every season and had no consistency on the coaching side of things.

Thanks for reminding me of all of this.

I probably blocked it out because Baker Mayfield is a supreme douche.

Had all of this happened to a decent person, I’d probably have some sympathy.

But Mayfield has been nothing but an ass.hole since college.

And he’s not a very good quarterback.

Good for him, Browns ownership treated him like crap, guy leads that team to breaking their playoff win drought against the ***** Steelers, division rival has to be big for the Browns, what has a tougher follow up season where he still plays hard for them but is playing injured most of the season and they just dump him for a sex offender.

Not being a smartass here, but how did Cleveland treat him like crap?

Was it the coaching situation?  Because I feel like they provided him with some talent on the field.

Looks like something that would have been perfectly suited to Pink Floyd back in the day.

They were always into the "visual display" stuff on top of the music.

    So was/is U2.

I prefer the Led Zeppelin approach.  Go out on stage, play your balls off for 3 hours, leave stage.

    No need for a "show."

It's funny that nowadays in pop music, the emphasis seems to be 99% on "Show" and most of these popular singers now have to jump around with 175 support dancers behind them in unison....the singing is secondary...and that's all pre-recorded anyway.

What an odd form of "entertainment."

If you want to see people dance, go to the ballet.  Music is a lot better too.

I wish U2 would have gone away in about 1989.

They put out fantastic albums in the 80s, then went to pure crap.

At this point, they’re just annoying.

This isn't accurate, he didn't embezzle it, that would imply that he kept it. But he didn't knowingly redirected to the University of Southern Mississippi to help build a volleyball stadium rather than a being used for welfare. Which is also absolutely gross...

All that said, it seems like nobody actually read this article... In this, it states after the issue in 2017 and it coming to light, Favre repaid all $1.1M, $500K 2020 and $600K in 2021... But now the accusation is he owes $729,790 in interest.  Which is laughable honeslty that he'd owe 66% interest.  It even called it a loan... Which it wasn't.  It was a clear misappropriation of government funds, which legislators should also be held accountable for.

On top of that, it's illegal to earn interest on Federal money as it is earmarked for expenditure or return only.  If a state gets $10M in Federal funds they can't put it in the stock market to appreciate, so demanding interest from Favre on a "loan" of Federal money is actually illegal.

He did keep it … until he spent it.  Like everyone else who embezzles does.

Do anyone have a good article explaining what happened exactly here, that’s fair for each sides point of view? This one seems a bit biased and gives no idea as to Favres stance (I realize there have probably been articles ad nauseam).

Question I have, was this willfully accepting money knowing it was not for this by Favre? Is there plausible deniability?  It may not matter to the law but would change my view on how I look at Favre.

ESPN was one of the entities that were accused by Favre so they have a reason to paint this in a certain light.

When this news first broke, there were articles detailing that there were text exchanges between Favre and others that made it clear that he knew exactly what was going on.

How he has never been charged is a mystery.  Well … kind of. Someone’s clearly on the take.

    Happy with my LFGM plates!!!

Upon further review, there are LFGM plates similar to mine on this list.

I’m actually due for renewal this month. I wonder if they’ll let it slide.

EDIT: just finished renewing. Looks like I was grandfathered in!
