  1. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2014/06/03/qbs-in-focus/ These charts aren't hard to understand. It doesn't take long to browse through and get the gist. You can see all the QB's strengths and weaknesses portrayed accurately. Distribution is the chart that scares me. EJ is dead last at connecting with WRs (45th out of 45).
  2. When EJ had greater than 3.6 seconds, he wasn't pretty good (27.3 comp%).
  3. Robey. He is good enough to base your whole franchise around. He is a quick twitch athlete that is so small and fast, he invades the backfield like a ghost... or a ninja. He hits like a guy 40 lbs heavier. I'd like to see him on returns and offense too! It's worth noting that Madden 25 raised his overall 14 points (more than any other Bill) because he was so consistent week after week.
  4. Watkins on chemistry with EJ- "It's not fully there." TJ Graham on chemistry with EJ- "I don't mind him." Marrone on EJ's progression- "It's like a light going off" These quotes are so reassuring.
  5. Thad had a decent game on the road vs. the Saints. He didn't put up Star Wars numbers like Brees, but he also had to endure a painful rib shot on a (stupid play call) QB draw in the first drive. His game in New England showed that he can throw some nice spirals in the saturating rain. And he was composed throughout. Kept making the throws in clutch situations. Put it right in TJ's chest on 4th down. Can't recall if he caught it or not.
  6. If Hackett would just watch an Eagles game or two he would see that his whole approach is deeply flawed. Nick Foles is cool as a cucumber as he goes under center, doesn't have to make any calls to his team as all the positional coaches give hand gesture signals. Chip Kelly gives Foles easy reads, lots of space and mostly screen passes that pick up huge chunks. Now watch EJ frantic and shouting at his wideouts who can't seem to hear the call but smile and nod anyway, then they run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Many busted plays and miscommunications. The coordination just isn't there and the 3 & outs are devastating. Pull the plug, slow it down.
  7. Fitz is very average by PFF's QB metrics. If anything EJ looks like the worst in the NFL, as he is dead last in a few of these metrics (Scrambles, 2nd Down) and near the bottom in almost every chart. Just sayin'.
  8. I went to several games last year and noticed they screw us out of most of the replays. Anytime a big play happens, even a coaches challenge, all eyes go up to the jumbotron and what do they give us? A replay? NOPE. A Microsoft Surface commercial for 2 minutes followed be a blurry 10 second replay, played one time. I could be at home watching the replays from every angle in slo-mo!! I blame Russ Brandon. He see the replays as a chance to make money and doesn't care about the fan experience.
  9. I believe that TJ's contract was written during some sort of blood sacrifice in which TJ offered his soul in exchange for 3 years of a guaranteed roster spot. EJ inked a similar deal.
  10. So glad they ditched that inconsistent, slo-poke David Nelson to keep TJ
  11. Keep in mind that Russell Wilson was BENCHED for Glennon back when TJ was his receiver at NC State.
  12. I agree. 3 years is a lot of wasted time, but I don't think it's set in stone anymore. The new owner will be in place before next season and won't waste any time firing everyone.
  13. Too much bias and bitterness in this poll. Bills fans WISH they had Fitz competing with 3 young prospects. This is what we shoulda had!! Nix blew it! I picked Titans. Locker is made of glass.
  14. EJ is much like a blend of Rob Johnson and Trent Edwards. Thad is a mix of Flutie and Fitzy. With history as a guide, I conclude Thad is destined to outperform EJ and become the starter.
  15. Maybe it's just me, but I find it nearly impossible to get a bathroom visit in, without missing a big portion of the game. Also, the "jumbo" tron is pathetic. The resolution is poor and they don't even always play replays. If they do, there is a lengthy Microsoft surface commercial before the replay. I could be at home, watching every replay from every angle in slo-mo. Install a HUGE screen or 2, increase bathroom capacity and I'd buy more tickets. I don't see why they can't just upgrade the Ralph. Spend the money on state-of-the-art jumbo-trons.
  16. I was dead wrong last season picking Carrington to have a breakout year. This year I'm gonna get weird with it. Going far out on a limb with Thad Lewis.
  17. I drove past the drag race crime scene over the weekend and saw Dareus standing next to his white Jaguar, crashed into a bush at the mongolian bbq place, laughing and smiling with cops. The scene made no sense. Milestrip at McKinley is not a place to be drag racing! I was hoping it was all a misunderstanding or an honest mistake. Nope. Dareus must be synth-baked out of his mind!
  18. John Fogerty. He's a sports fan and has expressed desire to retire in Buffalo: "If I had my way, I'd shuffle off to Buffalo Sit by the lake and watch the world go by Ladies in the sun, listenin' to the radio Like flowers on the sand, the rainbow in my mind."
  19. Seems like a great guy but he really doesn't have chemistry with who counts: whoever his QB is. Russell Wilson was his QB in college from '08-'10 at NC State and that resulted in Wilson getting benched. After transferring to Wisconsin, Wilson showed that perhaps he wasn't the problem (maybe TJ was?) by putting up great numbers and becoming a top NFL prospect. Fast forward to the NFL, Fitzy has a chance to score a game winning TD against the Pats but TJ runs the wrong route resulting in a pathetic looking INT. Fitz is now history but would history be different if TJ ran the proper route? Now this last season is more of the same. EJ looking like a bust. Especially his throws to TJ. It's as if they are reading from different playbooks. If they really want EJ to succeed they should replace TJ with someone with at least a basic grasp of the playbook and the WR position, because TJ doesn't have it.
  20. I think they only bring in these big WRs to cut them later so they have an excuse every time they get asked why they don't get with the times and bring in bigger targets, like the successful teams do. TJ Graham makes the team. Write it down.
  21. Chan's offense was predictable and his play calling was gutless, but yeah, anything looks good compared to Hackett. The OC job is simply over his head. The way he used no-huddle is how I play Madden when I'm impatient. The over use of TJ and the under-use of CJ. The disorganized passing plays on 3rd or 4th & goal. The inability to create a good passing or running game. How about get any OC with experience instead of this Hack.. ett
  22. Trade down, then trade down again (out of the 1st round entirely) and pick up Benjamin, a familiar target for EJ.
  23. I'd be shocked if the Bills aquire any more WRs as there are already too many on the roster. Stevie, Williams, Woods, Goodwin, Graham, Easley and Hogan and there are more guys just playing for a practice squad spot.
  24. IMO, a quality Guard needs to know how to HARASS the D-line. That is what Incognito does and it's effective. This is why the Texans' DE ripped off Richie's helmet and tried to hit him with it. He frustrates the D-line with his technically sound play and he has rare upper body strength for an OL. He might have a few 15 yard personal fouls but he's drawn them on the other team just as much. I personally thought he was better than any other guard we've had (in many years) when he played those 3 games in '09. He was pivotal in Fred Jackson's 212 yard rushing day vs Indy.
  25. TJ has been busy with an Xbox tournament at Walden Galleria last week and The "2014 TJ Graham High School Football Challenge" over the weekend. He'll be coming to Buffalo and Rochester next (http://tjgrahamskillschallenge.com/). He acts as if his roster spot is etched in stone, which it probably is.
