  1. Awesome,.... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000064244/article/bills-cj-spillers-madden-nfl-13-ratings-bumped-up?module=HP11_headline_stack
  2. I think we really need to ramp up the love for Glenn... Pro Football Weekly puts out a Rookie-of-the-Year meter that I often check. Doesn't show up yet, but needs to. They're not looking at the games as Stefan Gilmore shouldn't be here yet, though he had a better game in Week 2 http://www.profootballweekly.com/2012/09/18/rookie-meter-first-year-wideouts-taking-it-slow
  3. I can't believe no love on the board for this line! I'll give it, since we've all had unwavering faith over the last 3 years in Spiller blossoming into an all-world RB!
  4. The bounce pass to Chandler was tipped It came from Mitt Romney and he approves this message
  5. I was thinking the same thing when that happened.... it was ridiculous that he couldn't hit Chandler on that play right on the first 3-and-out
  6. This thread has become a model of why we need to shut up until we see excellence on the field... thread should be deleted as its too embarrassing
  7. Also, love the inside shots of the stage, surrounded by American Flags... how fitting!
  8. I'd like to commend the dedication and depth of research on this board!! I appreciate everyone who is contributing to this worthwhile topic... what else are you gonna' do on a Friday afternoon?
  9. Why all the love for Geathers??
  10. I saw the Geathers tweet and a few articles, but it doesn't appear that the Bills signed him to their Practice Squad I agree with others that it will need to a CB given where McGee is. Here is Prisco's "All-cut team" that has a few CBs on it, any thoughts on these guys?
  11. Yeah,... we have too much time on our hands to dream up situations.... what you said!
  12. I agree with everything except the DBs. I think they should be a 0 or could even be a -1 going into the season based on inexperience. They gave up alot during the preseason. I'm happy with starting Gilmore and Williams, but need to see some plays from them before going above a '0'. Again in the first half of the season, this could be a -1, particularly if McGee isn't healthy
  13. Gailey all but said that Brooks will be going the new recallable IR on Monday. They'll sign another player then that will either be a CB or WR I imagine. Could be Easley which will instantly put him to returning KOs
  14. I agree,... he certainly peaked their interest last night, but I think they can put him on Practice Squad. I'm sure some injury would elevate him to the roster at some point during the season
  15. I loved Eric Moulds,... one of my favorite players. It is a shame they couldn't put good enough teams around a talent like that. Can't say enough about him.
  16. Interesting piece for each division... here's AFC East http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/storylist/19980101/1/2012-nfl-all-division-teams/afc-east On offense, Stevie and Levitre make it, I don't see Reggie Bush over Fred Jackson On defense, Mario, plus Byrd and Wilson, do we really have the best safeties in the division?? Kelvin Sheppard, Fred Jackson, CJ Spiller get honorable mention ...discuss
  17. Love the enthusiasm!!! Well reasoned
  18. I use it with my kids when they come home with a crappy grade, left a mess in the family room and then expect to get taken somewhere. Then they have to overcome further adversity with me landing on them...
  19. hmmm, not sure about that. There was plenty of venom toward Edwards on this board....
  20. When you're wasting the season and then going w/ a rookie next year then you're looking at least 3 years out. Where will Fitzgerald be then? They may be in full rebuilding mode. They have Floyd drafted this year #1 who should become their top receiver in 1-2 years. Take another #1 from us, Donnie Jones (only in 3rd year), along w/ something else?? We're ready to compete now, they're rebuilding for 3+ years out...
  21. Well when they traded for Kolb, they certainly were expecting him to develop, so trading Fitzgerald in his prime would make no sense. But if they've lost confidence in both QBs and feel they can only remedy the situation through next year's first round pick,... it may as well be the #1 overall. Picking up another #1 (plus something else) helps them in the rebuilding. I don't think its far-fetched they would trade him, but I'm just talking crazy that the Bills would go for it...
  22. Interesting set of trade speculation on NFL.com With the Cardinal QB situation playing out so badly, there is speculation that the they could trade Fitzgerald so they don't waste his value on a languishing season. Not sure if we could have any interest in such a thing, but would love ot see it. What would it take beyond obviously next year's #1?... #2?.... Donnie Jones? Our receivers then might be Fitzgerald, Stevie, Nelson, TJ, Hagan?
  23. hmmm,... I'm a bit surprised to see this. My ex brother-in-law used to work for an insurance company in Boston, who did a bunch of work with the Patriots 10 years ago... he used to handle their settlement claims. He said at the time that practically every player retires with a long-term disability claim. I didn't realize this was a new thing Queue the Patriots as cheaters jokes... this has been going on a long time, I think.
  24. You stay classy San Diego....
