Why would we pick up a released player from the worst team in the NFL? Why would the Jags not keep him as a second stringer if he was on the downside of his career? Depth? Being release this late means something.... it means he just is not cutting it on the worst team in the league.

Really what did you expect him to say?? "Gee I got this job in Cleveland because the Browns are more screwed up- then Buffalo" or "Wow we are so screwed.. everyone here is dumb as a box of rocks" or "We have no starting QB so we are going to dumb down our offense for Tebow part II (Manzel)"

I am not going to get excited about "hope and change" for the Buffalo Bills Quarterbacks until I see results. Can someone please list all of the heir apparent QB's since Kelly. I lost track.....Didn't we pin hopes on Brian Brohm or that crazy undrafted trick shot QB.... I remember some "gun rack" guy that had a monster arm but never read the playbook... I could have sworn we had Matt Lienhart for a week. I often wonder how many playoff games would we have been to if we stayed with Todd Collins. The good news is every QB that has failed here ended up failing elsewhere... so we are not missing out. Our failed QB's did the right thing and stayed as a failed QB. I bet we have had 30 QB's on this roster since Kelly retired. Most never saw game action... But the list has to be huge. I mean... do you realize we have D. Dixon as a QB on the roster right now. Who the heck is D. Dixon? And how soon before he starts his career as a high school coach or selling insurance? My goodness this is depressing... and it turns out we contacted that fat Ex-Raider QB last year before the draft... yeah that guy, the one who ate his way out of the league!

Fred Jackson will be traded mid season to a playoff team that lost their starting RB. We will get a 4th rounder for him.

The Bills will trade down not up... but not by much.

A Super Bowl team would give us a 4th or 5th for him mid season. If your making a run....He is the perfect veteran back up. Running the ball counts in the playoffs.

I love the way Freddie plays and his heart.... but even if he runs 1200 yrds. At some point, he will break down and I don't want to be left with a million dollar broken down RB. Draft RB this year in the 4th and again Next year in the 4th. Trade him to Denver mid season. Give Freddie a shot at a SB... and get a 4th or 5th rd for him.

The point is we have had huge jerks on the team. Sometimes these jerks are great players. The super bowl years were full of jerks. The past 5-7 years we have had really nice locker room guys... yet we have not seen the playoffs in a decade. Some of the jerks were funny... like T.O. and Stevie J. Some were crazy like Travis Henry, some were criminal like OJ. I think it is fun to remember in the Bills past players... usually we remember the choir boys and greats.
