  1. Tom "GM who hates the fans" Donahoe. There were so many anti-social, mental nut jobs that played for the Bills. Most were pretty good players. Some should have never even been on the practice squad. OJ was the greatest RB of all time... but now we realize was crazy beyond belief.
  2. Wow such analysis... they suck until they don't suck.
  3. Start signing our young guys with one year left to long term deals.
  4. This was a pretty good list. if you look at some of these guys... They were great players. A few complete bust that people pointed out... But I saw a few Wall of Fame guys and even Hall of Fame guys. 2014 should be summed up this way: We need great players jerks or not!
  5. With the addition of Spikes. I think it is time to list the all time Buffalo Bills Jackass Hall of Fame team. I am willing to bet that the collection would be the greatest team of all time. I am sick of the Bills having average players that are good locker room guys. We need more men with fire in their heart and nastiness in their soul. I will start: Running Backs: "Hit &Run" Lynch, Travis "no condom" Henry, OJ.... DE: Bruce "DWI" Smith QB: Bill Joe "never read a playbook" Hobert Please list the player, position and his jackass trait.
  6. We should list the all time jackass Bills (past and present) and see that kind of team that would make. I bet it would be the greatest team of all time. Here I will start. Jim Kelly: Womenize and drunk. Seen many times puking on the sidelines hungover Travis Henry: One thousand out of wedlock kids...
  7. I am sick of us signing good charactor guys that are good to above average at best. Bring in a jerk with attitude and fire, that is great... it is what we need. If that is Spikes... good. This team needs a few jerks. Bruce Smith was a world class jackass. No woman was too ugly for Kelly. Thruman was a heavy drinker. OJ... well you know.
  8. Opps... I feel dumb. I guess he is here. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Bills-welcome-FA-RB-Dixon-LB-Spikes-for-visits/3d0b12e0-e835-48ac-b620-cc3a80a3dca9
  9. Spikes was seen at the Mall and he was seen at a car lot by the Statium and he was seen at the strip club by the airport.... in Dallas.. or was it KC? or was it Miami? Who knows... every city has the same thing. How many other teams have message boards saying the same thing? I like funnier rumors... like he was seen wearing Kiko's jersey at Dave and Busters, drinking with Bruce Smith.
  10. I am in a rant mood (humorous one) now... Bring in Flutie, Billy Joe Gun Rack (he did have a cannon arm), Rob Johnson could work for a game or two, Trent Edwards would be ok for a game, heck I would even take Blaine Gabbert, Chad Pennginton, Ryan Leaf could manage a single game... My point is when the starter goes down for more than a game your screwed anyway. Thad Lewis is just fine. Hmmm. Can you name the last six or seven 3rd string QBs the Bills have had? How about the last 10 second string guys? I dont think I could without looking on-line.
  11. IMO Are we really going to discuss Thad? How many decent backups became great QB? There are 60 backups in the league.. How many of those become great? During the last 40 years how many backups are now selling insurance or coaching HS football compared to how many backups became great? I bet we are talking 1000 to 1 ratio. Remember the trickshot QB a year or so ago... where is he now? How about the 300lbs Giants backup? Fat guy... Stuff-his-face Russel from the Raiders should have been a backup. Frank Reich was a great back up... one of the greatest of all time. When he left the Bills... can anyone remember his career as a full time starter? The past 14 years we have had backups as starters (except Bledsoe... but he was slipping). I don't want to worry about backups because our starter is great. Thad is fine... but we can find another Thad. Who cares.... I want a super star starter... fat guy Russel or mental Vince Young can carry the clip board. I need a beer
  12. Compare game changers at the time of the draft. At number 9, if the WR is a game changer.... you take him. If the LB is a game changer you take him. Whichever is the bigger game changer. With the 9th pic you should get at least a starter and probably a sometimes pro-bowler.
  13. Even franchise him and 2nd or 3rd round is just fine. Even 4th round is ok. He does not want to be here, if he did... he would have found a way in last year's negotiation. Even a 5th round is ok. Just get something for him.
  14. Today is Valentine’s Day... the Bills need to show Byrd some love. Sign him!!!
  15. Yeah... lets drop Hacket and start all over again....seriously? This is what we have been doing for years.... DUDE, that plan ain't working! Look at great teams... coaching is stable!!!
  16. This is a great idea.... trade Shepard for a guy (Hughes) that then out produced Shepard by a long shot... for a 4 round draft pick that may not work out. The logic is stunning. Worse yet... lets trade him for another middle of the pack TE and hope we strike gold. It is rare that trades work that well. Usually you trade your guy (a dog with fleas) for another team's dog with fleas. It is all built on hope, or else the other guy would not have been avalible in the 1st place. Unless Huges is part of a package (draft picks) that brings us Drew Brees or someone like that... why mess with it. Hughes is decent and we struck bronze (not gold) with him... leave him be. Rely on the draft and FA.
  17. Save this thread... because I am calling it. We are now a top 5 defense.
  18. How is a Madden simulation a spoiler? It is a Video game....
  19. Good luck Mike Pettine! We wish you the best. On to the next DC........
  20. We need to just take the best guy that has the fastest chance to develop into a super star. Kiko would now be drafted as a top 10. So even if a bonified future HOF'er running back is there you take him. There is not one position on this team that is lock, so you draft the best no matter what in 1st round except maybe DB, and kickers. Pick you posistion. LT.. Glen can move inside or to RT for some one better, OG... Imagine a lights out HOF between Woods and Glen. Even CJ can hit those holes. WR... please, anyone of them can be cut to make room, QB... upgrade if you can. EJ is ok, but if your analysis shows someone with higher long term greatness... you do it. RB... the clock is ticking on Freddie & CJ is a little bit of a question mark now, If the potential is better than CJ you do it. TE... who is not on board with that? DL... lot of nice players, but Darius is in a contract year and how much longer does K. Williams have in the tank LB... Kiko can be shifted around, CB.... leave lone pick up a late round pick S.... Byrd is gone. My point is there are some very nice players on this team. No one truly great. No one that can't be moved, shifted or traded for a truly great rookie.
  21. I know a guy, who knows a guy on the custodial staff for the Browns. Pettines name was on a peice of paper in the trash. Also rumored George Costanza was hired as a special assistant to the assistant GM of the Browns.
  22. Pettine is a good enough coordinator to wait for a really good opportunity. The browns are a mess. He needs to wait for the right job.
