If you worked your job like our Bills
section122 replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know what response emoticon to use. Laugh because it is funny. Cry because it's true. Or say thanks for pointing out the obvious. Different sport but the Lakers are a great example. Under Dr. Jerry Buss they were always competitive and missed the playoffs something like 4 times in 30 years. He passes control to the kids and they haven't made the playoffs since. -
I don't want to do the digging because the search function is terrible but I disagree. Both throws were panned as his fault. He threw them he owns them. I don't disagree that the int is on Dimarco but those are the fluky ones that end up on the stat line. Even excusing that one he had 4 ints and a fumble in a half of football. There should be no excuse for that.
-
On a roll? It was his 3rd pass!!! My favorite excuse this week is that the ints aren't all his fault. Tyrod has 3 picks on the year. 2 of them happened the same way DiMarco's did. I have not seen one person excuse either of those picks. Put the rookie in though and the line is all of a sudden bad, there are no weapons, and the running game didn't help him out. Those are all true points but they were also true with Tyrod behind center.

Bills clueless about Tyrod Taylor article
section122 replied to Comebackkid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The great white hope fell flat on his face . It's okay Tyrod haters. You can hate Tyrod, think he isn't that answer, and still admit that Nate Peterman was absolutely atrocious. They don't have to be mutually exclusive. You can think they both suck. Please stop propping up Peterman though. He was bad. Really really really bad. -
I did such a good job this year not getting sucked in. Them trading Watkins helped me a lot. However at 5-2 and getting ready to play the Jets I was fully on board the hype train. I'm an idiot.

This is amazing! This is the winner for me!

The jury IS in Tyrod is a decent NFL starter. I was wrong on Wentz. I thought the way he fizzled last year was because he was figured out. He came out this year a man possessed.

I admittedly don't watch a ton of college football but make it a point to catch big games or games involving big time prospects. Every time I watch Mayfield I come away impressed. He slides well in the pocket and finds throwing lanes and I too like the fiery attitude. Long way to go until the draft but at this point I would be very happy with him as the qb. He doesn't strike me as a McDermott kind of guy though so it probably won't be him as frustrating as that may be.

Nate Peterman's performance against the Chargers
section122 replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I do see the difference between the 2. I just think the move in general was a dumb one. I think the coach threw in the towel on a very winnable game starting his precious 5th round rookie. Bringing in a 5th round rookie was supposed to spark the offense? Come on thats ridiculous. Peterman being brought in was a desperation move to show that Dennison's scheme can be successful and that the offense sucking has been all Tyrod's fault. Before yesterday many people bought that. Now that Peterman played worse than Tyrod ever even came close to playing it has changed to how bad the rest of the team is. The team has been bad. The Saints game wasn't solely on Tyrod even though he was also bad. We saw yesterday that Tyrod is light years ahead of Peterman. Do you really think it looks that much different in practice to spark that move? Nobody is so sure Tyrod would have won yesterday. It isn't about that. Tyrod would have played better than Peterman and that I CAN guarantee. You opine about the Chargers finding ways to lose close games but oh they aren't that bad. Peterman made it so the game never had a chance to be close. Chargers aren't terrible that I will agree with but who do you think is a tougher game? 3-6 Chargers in a half filled with Bills fans stadium that holds less than half of New Era or a team that blew out New England playing in one of the toughest places to play in the league. Back to my original post to you it's the mental gymnastics that are driving me crazy. Even before the game there was a what if Peterman plays bad thread filled with excuses BEFORE he even took a snap. Now that it is likely Tyrod will be back in we should beat the Chiefs . It's still the same crappy team this week as it was last week. The only way they win is if the defense finally shows up. What do people always say to bash Tyrod? He won't win you the game but he won't lose it for you either? Peterman lost that game for the Bills yesterday. It is okay to think Tyrod sucks AND to think that Peterman sucks. I don't mind that at all. Tyrod not being good enough for anyone is fine with me. Anyone pretending Peterman is or should be excused in any way for yesterday isn't. He was historically bad and deserves to head back to the bench for good. -
Nate Peterman's performance against the Chargers

This is the double talk that is driving me crazy. If Tyrod is good he should have no problem at Arrowhead. However there is no way you could put Peterman in such a difficult situation. They probably aren't beating SD regardless of who is starting? So Tyrod couldn't beat a 3-6 team but should have no problem beating a 6-4 team? This is the only time it could be done? Why? If he played even halfway decent he would be starting against KC and NE in starts 2 and 3. Is that really any different? The gymnastics to defend this decision are incredible. Peterman should have been put in if it had to be done when the season was completely over. Not when the team is 5-4 and the 6 seed. Regardless of how people feel about the playoff hopes the reality is they were (and unbelievably still are) there for the taking. I agree with the last sentence of your post though. At any time they can turn it around this is after all the NFL. I don't think any of us are expecting it but it could certainly happen. The Bills are going to have to, as a team, decide if they want to quit or fight. That's from the HC on down. -

I'm not mocking anyone. I posted in the what if Peterman plays bad the following: I'll be sad because It will mean the playoff hopes are all but dead It will bring more scrutiny on the coaches and make me question there ability to steer this team in the right direction and their decision making I will have to come on here and not only read about a Bills loss but see the same people who crushed TT defend everything great white hope Peterman. This is exactly how I feel today. I don't feel great about the coaching staff, playoff drought for another year, people defending Peterman after crushing Tyrod for "the throws he doesn't make" while excusing Peterman for the throws he did make. No part of me is happy Peterman stunk. I'm actually angry and I hate when the Bills control my emotions enough to do that lol. Idiotic move by the coaching staff. TT can not be the answer and still deserve to start over Peterman. Peterman should be cut. Put the shoe on the other foot and ask yoursellf what would the response be here today if TT had thrown 5 picks. so disconnected from reality. I'm pissed they made the move and I'm pissed they blew another season. No part of me is happy. -
They didn't just go all in on drafting them they then set them up for success. Both teams invested heavily in receivers and o-line. Just this off season the Rams brought in Kupp, Woods, and Watkins as well as whitworth. The Eagles brought in Ajayi, Alshon Jefferey, etc... They set their young guys up for success. The Bills are not currently set up for a qb to be succesful especially if Dennison stays. Draft one early and then get him some help!
-
Denver averaged 27 more yards per game and 2.5 less points per game. Glad to see a team being proactive when something isn't working. Dennison needs to go. I'm not even going to say that they should hire McCoy but they certainly need to move on from Dennison especially if there is any truth to him being the one to push Peterman starting.

Nate Peterman's performance against the Chargers
section122 replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stop excusing his terrible play! Dont tell me those ints werent his fault. If we are going to play the not his fault game with ints then Tyrod only has 1 on the year. Last week and week 1 against the jets were tipped in the air by clay. Don't tell me about how it wasn't his fault the pressure was in his face all dag forcing him into errors if you stated the 7 sacks in the jets game were Tyrods fault. Maybe as some has proposed Tyrods escapability is a very important factor in making the oline look much better than it is. Don't tell me facing the 3-6 chargers is the same as the 8-2 saints. One is the hottest team in football and the other is still 2 games under 500 Don't tell me they needed to see what they had. He's a 5th round pick. A 5th rounder. Most of the people drafted in his round won't ever start a game let alone a game with playoff implications. Especially at qb. They should know from practice what they have. Don't tell me well Tyrod sucks too so they would have lost anyway. He doesn't and you were just shown what an actual backup qb looks like. I won't guarantee a win but I will guarantee Tyrod wouldn't have put forth 5 ints in a half. Don't tell me Dennison had a poor gameplan and that isn't Peterman fault. He's had bad gameplan most of the year. Seriously that was some of the worst qb play I don't know how anyone can defend that play or pretend like he deserves a second chance. The Bills don't have to skip the playoffs just bc they won't win the super bowl. 3 bad weeks and they are still in the driver seat. They owe it to Kyle, the fans, every player on that team to try and win. Tyrod offers the best chance for that. Peterman should just be cut. Next year they can draft their qb of the future and let him actually beat out Tyrod not be gifted the starting position bc he fits the idiotic ocs mental picture of what a qb should be. -

Remember when you said the pass game was the reason the chargers gave up the rushing td? -

It depends. Is the question who threw more picks in 1 half of one game then the Bills had all year your right. If the question is who is the best qb on the roster your wrong. -

Every snap Peterman takes moves me further and further from supporting this regime. He needs to be benched. This isn't just an eff you to the fans it's one to the players as well. Thanks for coming back kyle... -

The td drive was 2 shady runs Peterman had nothing to do with that
