  1. Sooooooo I'll go there.... How the hell does the snake digest this guy? How does he sh*t him out? Yeah I'm that guy
  2. This happened to me with dexter. I started watching it and enjoyed it immensely. The problem was that I started it this summer as it was ending. Everyone trashed then ending and now I don't even want to invest the time. As to Rob and jboyst's point.... I think a lot I the tanking in quality had to do with mcfarlane having so many shows out. Between Cleveland show, family guy, and American dad - that is a lot of content to come up with weekly. Thus the quality was watered down and subpar. It is strange but American dad was my least favorite when it premiered and now is my favorite out of the group. More of a tallest midget than anything else as they sit on my dvr forever but still my favorite out of the group.
  3. This is exactly what the rule is now.
  4. I don't know. 109 tickets out of 73000 is not strict enforcement to me and as I said I've been to 3 games this year without incident. If they are enforcing it, it doesn't seem like that big of a deal. I can still drink in my lot but can't drink for the 10 minutes I'm walking? Oh the horror!!! It seems to be much ado about nothing.
  5. I agree. I always try to practice "if breaking the law, draw as little attention to yourself as possible."
  6. Yolo I like your analysis for who to root for with the exception of pats* over broncos. 1. I can't root for them and 2. I want them to lose and play for the division against the Bills week 17!
  7. I've been at 3 games this year, parked in private lots on California, and walked to the stadium with a nice buzz and open container. I have walked by cops and haven't had an issue. I have a feeling the story up thread is the vast minority for this situation and many of the tickets are for obnoxious drunks. 73,000 ppl 109 tickets, that is an incredibly low percentage.
  8. While I agree with the idea that Athletes are pampered and spoiled if you think this has anything to do with anything but the Heisman you are mistaken. "We are not surprised with the results of the DNA," he said, according to USA Today. "We voluntarily submitted to a DNA. The only thing we are surprised by is it was leaked out by law enforcement. The question the people should ask is, why is it being leaked? For what purpose?" Sexual assault cases are hard enough to prove immediately. 11 months later? It'll be a stretch. That said he most certainly will be negatively affected in the Heisman race. The timing is more than a coincidence imo.
  9. I'd say Broncos, Tim Grahams, and Colts are all games that they could lose. Hell with how unimpressive there offense is I could see them losing any of these games.
  10. I died laughing at all the comments about Bills fans being badwagon fans. What exactly are people bandwagoning on? The playoffless streak?
  11. Yes Apparently I'm nobody Seriously though when it comes to borderline HOFers doesn't it seem like those that are still in the limelight make it more often. ESPN/NFL Network analysts seem to get a bump. I'm surprised Carter's off the field troubles weren't even MENTIONED when he was up for election and then when he made it in. Whether it is that they are in the public eye or buddy buddy with the election comittee it is at least a strange coincidence. As an aside - it is very difficult finding out who sits on this comittee. Anyone better at the internet than me that can find a list? It would be interesting to say the least.
  12. Here is something that might surprise you: Most fans are bandwagon fans. The majority of people follow the good teams. It is why ESPN focuses on the winning and big market teams. That doesn't mean that they should be discounted. It is why succesful teams make money - because bandwagon fans buy the gear, tickets, etc.. Don't confuse that with the fact that there are many of us die hards! Aren't you forgetting the Toronto preseason games? 2008 and 2010 both had preseason games played in Toronto. If you say Orange Basketball I will give you that. When it comes to football not many people care at all about them. With Marrone bringing them back yes, but 59-3 FSU there was little to no reaction other than yeah they suck. This speaks to my point above about people everywhere being bandwagoners but following success. I always tell people that there is room on the Bills Wagon - lots of room!
  13. I would go with the larger one for a few reasons. 1. Bundles when buying the system always have a discount. As you said it comes with halo 4 and that right there is $60. 2. The amount of memory will allow him to put movies, music, games, etc... Without worry of it filling up. When it comes to systems 4gb will go fast! 3. The price will drop again before Christmas and bundles will be available. Always buy a system in a bundle!!! You may even be able to come under $200.
  14. I have long thought that Syracuse is a logical expansion of the fan base. We don't have ties to a regional team, the Bills are the closest team, and the Dome would be a great place to host a preseason game a la the Rogers Centre. There is a clear void here as you will see fans of pretty much every team. The Bills could seal this market and increase their stronghold in the region even more. No border to cross, 2.5 hours to the stadium, all thruway driving. It makes so much sense.
  15. I will never ever root for them. They can lose tonight. The Panthers can continue on a tear and beat the Jets next week.
  16. My favorite news of the week was that the team was practicing outdoors. Some players gave credit to that fact helping the team. I think it was hugely beneficial. Knowing the elements and practicing in the elements only can help prepare players. Marrone pushed the right buttons this week for sure!
  17. For sure he's certainly not Lewis, Tuel, Fitzpatrick bad (I'll stick up for Stevie there ) I just was never a fan....
  18. I just laughed because they wanted so badly to give someone, anyone credit for a great block. The only problem was that all 3 players in the hole were holding lol.
  19. I put him about Matt Cassel level. Able to do good things with a good cast but not able to do it himself. The rest of that group you are certainly correct on.
  20. I'll tell you for as many Cuse fans are, season tickets are impossible to unload for these early games. There are so many of them at home right off the bat against crappy competition. I can't even sell my seats for below face value!
  21. Me too. That was my first complaint about this fight. It stunk like a boxing match. White said as much (and you can read about it in Ryan L Billz post). The NAC is terrible, I hope they move fights away from there until they get their sh*t together. For combat sports UFC is the top dog right now. The champions are top notch and the fights are set up by UFC. There is no ducking someone ala Mayweather. If they are good and in your weight class you will fight them.
  22. I had this convo with Edward's Arm as Schaub has had a high ypa stat that he loves. I think the greatness of Arian Foster and Andre Johnson contributed to that more than Schaub himself did. I have never viewed him as a strap the team on his back type of qb. T.J. Yates did well on this team during his best year. Foster cause a lot of teams to have to stack the box which opened up coverage on Johnson. Their play action was also phenomenal bc of these 2 threats. Schaub benefited quite a bit from these guys and to me is the statistical outlier for that stat.
  23. On Johnson's first td run the other night they went to give Levitre credit. They showed the highlight and talked about how great of a signing it was. The problem is that Levitre whiffed on the block and then held the guy to open the hole. They stopped real quick and tried to mention how for a great run you need te's and wr's to block so they showed the same play to highlight that, and both players were holding!
  24. Which I think is an upgrade. Woods and Goodwin have impressed me this year. Hopefully they continue to impress!
  25. I must be watching different games. He is known as a garbage time player through his career and this year has been terrible. In 10 games he has 37 catches for 426 yards. From 2007 to 2013 he has 452 catches for 6154 yards. That is around Stevie Johnson numbers. As opposed to Andre Johnson who this year has doubled that production this year and has 72 catches for 966 yards. Since 2007 he has 579 catches for 8267 yards. That includes 2 injury hampered years. It is pretty safe to say Andre is twice as good as Bowe. He also hasn't had a good qb throwing him the ball much like Bowe.
