You can't underestimate something you never cared enough about to estimate at all. -

Jets fans are not happy about winning today
Malazan replied to RobbRiddick's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is cherry picking. Most of them are indifferent as they had already basically lost the 1st pick and were locked into 2nd. Don't try so hard to disparage other teams fanbases imo.- 67 replies

Week 16: Sunday Games Around the League
Malazan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For anyone confused, Fumble: 1 Definition. A ball that is intentionally muffed, and goes forward or backward, is a batted ball (12-1-8). ... If the player loses possession after he has tucked the ball into his body, it is a fumble. Huh? Jets were locked into #2 even if they won all 3 games. -

Obviously, a very smart INT by him to keep the team focused on the game and tuning themselves up for the playoffs. If the Chiefs started blowing them out, they could get complacent. 😉🤣 -

Eh, I went right to the Jets/Browns, but then I prefer comedies to dramas -
Tua benched again - will start in Buffalo week 17

At some point, Tua has to grow up and not have Daddy come in to clean up after him. Pulling him seems counterintuitive to that. -

If you think Diggs and Snacks have the same 'attitude' then you're hopelessly lost. -
I think the difference is a private function versus a public function. I'm not sure what the rules are up there, but if they're within the compliance of the local rules for the number of people at a private function, it seems like it would be difficult for the NFL to enforce something in regards to private functions because every player who has family/friends over for the holidays would end up being punished. For example, Dwayne Haskins likely could have avoided trouble if he had simply had the strippers come to his room and adhered to local restrictions regarding the number of people in a gathering instead of actually going to the strip club.

Which retread NFL Head Coach would you hire?
Malazan replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you think firing the DC after an inexplicable move when he already didn't get along with the HC in a winless season is the same as firing a college DC after the season is done.. then ok. We're done here. -
I mean, he was wearing some sort of body brace. That has to affect the way you throw and move.
-
Not sure it's this big of deal, but he should at least recognize that him being at practice isn't *just* about him and his ability may, for example, make the CBs better or he may have insight to help out Murray. Now given his production, as a team, I'd probably have a conversation with him about it and that would be the end of it if he didn't want to practice.

The GM didn't like how much control he had and started a power struggle. Given the results immediately before and after Harbaugh...the 49ers made the wrong choice. You don't have to worry. Indications are that Harbaugh is staying at Michigan. They fired the DC which you don't do if you're planning on firing the coach and the rumors are that Michigan wouldn't get rid of him because he's owed 10 million unless an NFL team agreed to buy him out. The Jets seemed destined for Bieniemy trying to revive Darnold. -
Remember back in the pre-season when the Jets starting offense and defense went against their 2nd teams.. and their starters got destroyed. Good times.

No, but when looking for outrage... you'll take any ridiculous take from any random person you can find.

How do we keep Daboll around?
Malazan replied to loveorhatembillsfan4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What the hell are you promoting him too? Even if you don't believe McDermott is much more central to the team's success than Daboll (spoiler: he is).. firing the head coach of a playoff team for one of his coordinators would be dysfunction to such an extreme level that the job would be poison for years and years. On top of that, Daboll would never accept and still leave because you don't want to be the guy who took a HC job as a coordinator from another coach.
