  1. Beane seems high on Brown, unless his praise is a smoke screen. They signed two guards. I think they draft Oline in this draft, just not in the first pick.
  2. The Bills need to build the team around Josh. Meaning better Oline and more weapons. This is how to win in this league
  3. I'm still not sure that Ken Dorsey can run a top tier offense. He got outcoached badly in the playoff game against the Bengals.
  4. I think you are right about Spencer Brown. He took a step back in my opinion this year though. You're right about a big strong running back being a standard except the Bills haven't had one in years. I think a better than league minimum is needed though. Imagine if Josh has a running game, and they add the receivers you talked about? I wouldn't mind a tight end at number one either. There are two very good ones in the draft.
  5. I agree with you. The defense was awful down the stretch and worse in the playoffs. Too much money spent on an ineffective D-Line. I also think they are not physical enough in the secondary.
  6. I agree with you about his health issues. I do think he's a better passer than given credit for though
  7. Plus I'm sure Josh will renegotiate to create cap room
  8. The O-line has to be addressed. They need a right tackle and two guards. Then they can worry about receivers and a big strong running back
  9. This is why the owners were so upset with the Browns, and I agree with them. Giving this pervert a guaranteed huge contract was moronic!! I don't blame Lamar at all. A healthy Lamar is worth more than Watson, but he made a big mistake stepping on the field last year without a new contract in place. Now this makes two years in a row he got hurt and couldn't finish the season. The ravens have just two decisions: Pay him a fully guaranteed contract or trade him for as much as you can get. I doubt he plays under a franchise tag.
  10. Yes, I have this recurring dream that the Bills will never win a Super Bowl
  11. Diggs is going nowhere. The cap implications make that move impossible. As far as next year, I do think there is a good possibility the Bills fall to third place in the division, especially if the Jets find themselves a capable quarterback
  12. 😂😂 So True
  13. Any cap problems that the Bills have right now comes from overpaying on the defensive side. Look at our D line. All that money put into it and we get nothing come playoff time. Put the money into a better Offensive line and more weapons for our franchise quarterback. Then the Bills will be dangerous come playoff time. Also, in my humble opinion, they need a an upgrade from Frazier.
  14. Right, Tennessee for example. Trading Brown was a huge mistake.
  15. And that's the point, he will be 31. Can a 31 year old help, maybe, but it would have to be a small price tag.
  16. Yes, I agree with you
  17. If he was any good, he would be on an NFL roster. This was just to placate Josh.
  18. I will Implode if the Bills take a pass rusher with their first pick
  19. Honestly, this may be unpopular, but I think they need a new mind running the defense. Where is the creativity in the defense? It's too simple, no stunts, no disguise. Come playoff time, better coaches take Frazier's lunch money. How many years will this be the case before they make a change? Having a top five defense in the regular season has done nothing for them come playoff time.
  20. I have never liked players who are on losing teams and declare that they want to be paid higher than anyone at the position. Where is the "I want to win" commentary? Jason Peter 2.0
  21. No he has not. Chris Simms often makes ridiculous claims. Maybe he wants attention, I don't know. But whatever it is, I don't care. I have never put much credence in what Chris Simms says.
  22. The question now is, what does that organization do now? The coach lost his job, but how does the GM keep his? This trade will go down as one of the biggest heists in NFL history, if not the biggest. This will set them back for years.
  23. No, you really don't get it. When was the last time you saw a team lose a game because they didn't execute the end of game kneel down? All those other plays can be "what ifs" . This was unique, which is why I brought it up. It was a game they literally had won, and gave it away. Josh missing a pass is all part of football. We NEVER see end of game victory formation fumbles. If you can think of one in the last 50 years, let me know. I think there was one in the 70s. All the other things you mentioned happen every week in the NFL.
