It's Adam RANK, not Rink...but we'll let you skate this time. (He was also on 'One Bills Live' today) -
Vic Carucci retiring from Buffalo News

Congrats and good luck to Vic. I was disappointed when he briefly left to cover Cleveland but was glad when he came back home to WNY where he belongs. To me, he and the late, great Larry Felser were the best to cover the Bills and were the eyes and ears of Bills fans for years prior to the days of the internet, social media, and podcasts. I really enjoyed his work over the years but I will still be listening to him on Sirius/XM. Thanks, Vic. -
Bills interested in CB Steven Nelson

I have been advocating getting him since he asked for, and was granted, his release by the Stillers. Find a way, Beane. -

Share Your Random Acts of "Go Bills!"
ExWNYer replied to HardyBoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People used to ask me, "Aren't you afraid of them going back and losing again?" and I would always tell them, "No, you can't lose if you don't go. I'll take my chances." -

I was a T-6 during the Bills' Super Bowl runs. Nobody else in the station was a Bills fan but one of my co-worker friends was a Dolphins fan so he had a rough go of it. lol There were plenty of Washington fans there though so the the day after the SB XXVI loss was not much fun for me. I did run into some Bills fans out on the street so that was always a treat, especially back then before social media and the 'interwebs'. That made it more of a surprising event, IMO. BTW, I ran into my former Miami fan co-worker in Kroger prior to the pandemic. He spotted me and yelled my name. I hadn't seen him in over 20 years. We both lived and worked on the other side of town back when we worked together. I get and give a lot of "GO BILLS!!!" here in Richmond so it's not too unusual. A few weeks ago, I was walking into Kroger again and a guy was coming out in Bills gear with his girl as I was entering the store (not wearing Bills gear) and I gave him a "GO BILLS!!!" in passing and he reciprocated as we both kept moving. As we passed I heard his girl say, "What did he say to you?" 😂 -

Sorry, I wasn't trying to give him the shaft. -

Was it an actual lineup or did you have to identify them from their head shots? -

Your wife should have deadpanned, "I highly recommend it...especially if one of them is a midget."

Slot Recievers - McKenzie / Cole

I didn't open the link/read the article. Was there any mention of Isaiah Hodgins possibly making the active roster and filling the role of a 'big slot'? That's where he's best suited, IMO. -

That's it...good job. I wasn't completely sure whether that was '55' or '65' at first but assumed '55'. -

That's a really grainy pic but looks like it might be LB Jim Haslett. -
Reminds me of an old joke about 'eating' a certain something which ends with..."once you get past the smell, you got it licked." 😇

RIP, Ned. As mentioned by others, undeniably remembered for one iconic role but a great actor across many years.

Yes. See what I posted above. Blue Swede covered it in 1974 with the 'ooga chaka' hook. It briefly hit #1 but stayed on the charts for quite a while. 'Guardians of The Galaxy' brought the Blue Swede version back into the public conscience again.

That song was one of the most memorable things in 'Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid' and won an Oscar for best original song. He had many hits in the '70s that a lot of people would know or recognize, including a few that have been mentioned in this thread. Others were 'Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song' and 'I Just Can't Help Believing'. The band 'Blue Swede' also did a memorable cover of his 'Hooked On a Feeling'. RIP, BJ...and thanks for the childhood memories.
