  1. Or a drinking city with a football problem?
  2. Exactly what I thought when I read the title. Loser mentality preparing excuses for a loss before the game has even started.
  3. It should be a close game. The 12th man is going to be huge again this week. Everyone rest your voices in preparation
  4. This makes no sense, how can BellyCheat be a Bills fan?
  5. Updated first post. All picks now in.
  6. Good lord there is a Pats bar and fanclub here? How depressing.
  7. Too much in this case isn't defined by quantity, but rather by how much of an a-hole you are because of the alcohol. You might be able to be perfectly normal drinking that much while someone else might be a raving a-hole after just the jello shots.
  8. Exactly, both teams fans being asshats. Definitely the smart play. But why should you have to? And wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to.
  9. Maybe I'm being influenced by all the posts here every week about how the zebras hosed the Bills yet again. But I see the 12th man making the game a coin flip, the difference being the hosed factor. Pats: 24 Bills: 19
  10. True of course. But is it too much to ask for fans of both teams, not just the away fans, not to be asshats? I mean, it's a football game, not life and death.
  11. Cortana says 64.4% Philly, but FiveThirtyEight has Philly only at 51%. Might be another case of Cortana's number being influenced by social media.

  13. It pretty much always is. Then don't and put the blame where it belongs. It's only football. But that being said, a very wise man who goes to a lot of away games gave my son very good advice once ... there is no reason to paint a bullseye on yourself by wearing an away teams gear to a game.
  14. A local friend who was disadvantaged by being born in Pats country took her kids to a Pats game at the Ralph either last season or the one before. They were all wearing pats gear. They were all, according to her (always known her to be a level headed honest person), harassed numerous times verbally and even physically in the parking lot by different groups of drunks to the point she feared for the physical safety of her kids. In the stadium as well.
  15. Interesting. "The algorithm takes into account advanced stats and home-field advantage, and there's a public-perception element that incorporates data from Twitter and Facebook." Probably the biggest difference between Cortana and FiveThirtyEight. Cortana picked the Colts and FiveThirtyEight took the Bills last week.
  16. You should trademark that
  17. Would they be getting this coverage if they were playing the Titans this week instead of the Pats? Doubt it. But if the Bills manage a win, and particularly if they do so impressively, then you would think the national media would have to talk about the Bills on their own merits.
  18. Original post updated with CBS picks.
  19. Unless P. Manning plays the Bills, I don't give a !@#$.
  20. More Bills/Sabres crossover?

(http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/straight-up/2) ESPN: 6 and the computer take the Pats, 7 take the Bills (http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks) Microsoft Cortana (Went 13-3 in week 1): Bills win, 53.3% chance. (http://www.cortanapredictions.com/) FiveThirtyEight (Went 12-4 in week 1): 57% Pats 43% Bills (http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2015-nfl-predictions/)
  23. Buffalo Bills Fan Drinks Beer from Wiffle-Ball Bat, Spins, Slams into Bus http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2566222-buffalo-bills-fan-drinks-beer-from-wiffle-ball-bat-spins-gets-decked-by-bus?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=programming-national
  24. Yes. Here will be fine.
  25. Then pity him. He was almost certainly an abused child.
