  1. Coin flip. I think it will come down to a big play or big mistake made by one team or the other.
  2. A disturbing read. His first point about going for the 2 point conversion along with the stupid challenge I find really troubling. A "elite" head coach would not make such mistakes. I was scratching my head on both of those as well during the game. Hopefully Ryan just had a bad game ... hopefully.
  3. That was the one big positive from that ass kicking, not one ounce of quit on that team. Well you can call it wanting to stick the dagger in if you want, but the Pats were up 37-13 after 3 quarters. All they had to do was burn clock and not do anything stupid. Hoodie would normally take the safe route and he did not this time for some reason.
  4. Well sense this thread is about how people are now perceiving the Colts win ...
  5. Is TT, in your opinion?
  6. CBS with Spread (Bills +2.5) : 4 take the Bills and 4 take the Fish. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/against-the-spread/3) CBS Straight Up:4 take the Bills and 4 take the Fish. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/straight-up/3) ESPN: 7 and the computer take the Bills and 6 take the Fish. (http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks) Microsoft Cortana (Really bad week, Went 6-10 in week 2): Fish win 59,8% chance. (http://www.cortanapredictions.com/) FiveThirtyEight (Really bad week, Went 7-8 (one was a draw) in week 2): Fish 51% Bills 49% (http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2015-nfl-predictions/) As a side note, FiveThirtyEight has the Pats beating the Jags with a 91% chance. And Cortana is more pessimistic at 80%
  7. The Bills were beaten soundly. A 4th quarter anomaly made the score closer than the game actually was is all. Anyone who watched the game knows this. But the bottom line is, the Jets are 2-0 and the Bills are 1-1. The effort that most national media generally puts into their research leads me to believe that's all they are looking at, not the quality of the wins.
  8. I tend to look at it from the other side. The rules of the NFL are so plentiful and ridiculously anal that it makes reffing a game in real time almost impossible and at times unwatchable. Just as one example, they have to stop play and penalize a team because a TE or a wide out lined up a foot off the line further than he was supposed to? Really? What difference is that going to make. Plus the PI rules, down by contact, I can go on and on. If they want games to be reasonably officiated, a good start would be to make the rules reasonable.
  9. Swagger without backing it up makes you a bush league !@#$. I'd rather see it on the field than the week before.
  10. It would certainly seem that way.
  11. An interesting read. My link takes you right to the Bills page but you can select any team, including ones that no longer exist. If you have a weak stomach, don't look at the Pats page. http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/complete-history-of-the-nfl/index.html#buf
  12. Yelling at the refs for the bad call on Watkins for the push off if memory serves.
  13. I see, so unless you whine about the refs after every game you are not a Bills fan. Noted. And, just for you ... the Bills first drive yesterday was a thing of beauty. And kudos to the Bills (and the fans in attendance) for not folding in the 4th quarter and trying to shove BellyCheats late game mistakes up his ass. Hmmmm the stadium is harder. Oh, it is in a good location with easy access to 90, and is a simple functional stadium and not a god-awful billion dollar monstrosity like the home of the cowgirls.
  14. Just business as usual I guess. The refs deliberately screwed the Bills. With that happening every week and every season, it's amazing that the Bills manage to win any games at all!
  15. If that's a vote. I'll take the first one please
  16. Voting with their hearts, not their heads.
  17. Did you watch the game or just look at the final score. The Pats got complacent, and bellycheat may have been trying to rub the Bills fans noses it near the end which led to the Bills getting a quick 2 TDs (which damn near cost him the game). With the exception of the first Bills drive, which was sweet, the only thing close about that game was the final score. But it's only 1 loss in the grand scheme of things, its now fish squishing time.
  18. Do you really think that's what the chant was about? Come on man There was trash talk, billboards, fan chants. Far too much bull **** the week leading up to this game. The Pats and particularly Brady, took it in stride came out and cleaned the Bills clock in every way. And at the Ralph to boot. One of the talking heads, Jay Glazer I think it was on Fox, commented before the game that's how Rex rolls, he will always be a big talker which makes him a favorite with the media. But he warned that if you are going to talk like that, you had better be able to back it up or you are going to look very stupid. Now Bills Nation looks very stupid. Live and learn, hopefully, and get ready to squish the fish.
  19. Did you watch the game? The Pats got lazy and gave up a quick 2 TDs late which brought the score close. But no one could have watched that game and said the play was close. I agree, there is no reason to overreact. Hope that Ryan and the team learns from their mistakes, licks their wounds, and is good to go Sunday against the Fish.
  20. Absolutely the players are to blame as well for their actions as well as their play But teams take their lead from the HC. If the HC shoots off his mouth and gets the players so fired up they make stupid undisciplined mistakes like we saw yesterday, then the HC has to shoulder that blame. Additionally, the apparent lack of preparation (outside of the first drive which was very nice), and the lack of in game adjustments falls on the HC as well as the coordinators. If coaching is going to get credit for wins like the Colts game, they also have to take the blame when warranted, like now in my opinion. Nothing overly convenient about it.
  21. Rex's big mouth all week and the teams lack of focus and preparedness is 100% on Ryan. Hopefully he as well as the rest of the team learns from that embarrassment.
  22. Week 11 - @ Gillette Stadium May not decide the season, but to me will define Rex's ability to be an effective head coach. Hopefully he can manage to keep his big mouth shut the week before the game and have his team prepared this time instead of the out of control mess we saw yesterday. Yeah, very un-bellycheat-like. Showed little respect for the Bills offense and almost did cost them big.
