I 100% disagree. Bills fans, and I am talking about the hardcore ones who will tell you to go !@#$ yourself if you say anything bad about either the Bills or Buffalo as a city, will continue to buy tickets/merchandise etc. as long as they stay in Buffalo. That has been proven and will not change. The Bills have been around for 50 years now, and except for the Kelly superbowl years in the 90's have not fielded great (or generally even good) teams. They may not set season ticket selling records again next year. But not support their Buffalo Bills? No !@#$ing way. Sanchez???? He has sucked this season for the most part. They have won the last few games because he can hand the ball off. I suspect he will end up being a good QB, but he certainly was not this season.

I'm not saying I want the Bills to leave necessarily. But I'm not sure I understand your logic when you say that it is obvious that the Bills leaving would make the WNY economy worse. Firstly, there is more to WNY than just the Buffalo area. Not sure how Rochester or other parts of WNY would be affected economically one way or the other if the Bills stay or go. Second, I'm not sure how even the Buffalo area would be greatly impacted economically. It's not like the Bills are a huge tourist draw for people outside the area. And even if they were, we are talking 8 weekends a year total (plus playoffs if that ever happens again). Not exactly a huge impact. Lastly, take into account all of the tax money that gets spent on the team. You can argue quality of life would go down for the Buffalo area or even WNY. But that would be only for the true Bills fans. The casual fan or the football in general fan would not be impacted this way either. So even that argument is weak in my opinion. I guess you can lump me in as 'beyond ignorant'. Please educate me.

Geez guys. The guy is being thorough and interviewing a bunch of people. Reading this board you would think Nix went out and signed a high school special teams coach to be the HC of the Bills. Why don't you wait until he signs someone you don't like before crucifying the guy. Consider the fact that he may not be able to hire a big name, or even someone with HC experience that is worth a **** because they turn him down. If he was sitting on his hands and not interviewing other candidates now you are the same people that would be calling for his head for not being proactive. Grow up.

Wow so you feel that the money is the primary factor. For someone without money or other options I agree with you. But not for someone who has both is my opinion. I guess we agree to disagree .

I still don't understand what makes people think this is a money thing. He must have millions stashed away already. Getting paid well at CBS now as well. I said if before and I will say it again, money is not a strong motivator to someone who already has it. *If* the chin comes to Buffalo, I seriously doubt the main reason would be money.

Well put but I don't think you need to go all the way to 'movie stars on a beachfront avenue lined with palm trees'. Buffalo is a currently economically depressed, basic blue collar town which you describe perfectly. If you desire even a generic white collar lifestyle then Buffalo is probably not the town for you either.

Really? I never compared side by side but I expected sports packages to be the same except for the Ticket. Ohhhh I see. DTV grabbed an exclusive on that too from CBS like they did with the NFL. I really wish the FCC would stop all this exclusive rights bull **** on things like that. All it does is drive the price up for the consumers.

Or, switch to dish and get the red zone channel without the sunday ticket!
