  1. The combination of the KC offense and the Bills defense makes KC scoring only 17 points a bit hard to believe. I suspect they will have at least that at halftime. The question then becomes can the Bills offense from a week ago show up this week as well and manage to win a shootout.
  2. Only about 6 other threads discussing this already.
  3. Actually 3 days ago.
  4. Fixed.
  5. Oh what a difference one game can make. From threads wondering how many years before Gailey is fired to statements like this after one game It will be interesting to see what they can do against a supposedly lesser opponent this week in KC.
  6. The Bungles look particularly beatable at the moment.
  7. A even sillier what if, that is a bit more likely to happen ... A little WR like Roscoe jumps in the air to catch a ball and does, but a big LB catches him in the air and carries him out of bounds and drops him.
  8. He couldn't really, he was along for the ride at that point Give some of the blame to Nelson as well. Of course the ravens were trying to strip the ball, no excuse for him not wrapping the ball up tight with both hands.
  9. No doubt that this would help.
  10. If you are saying that Bills fans have blamed losses on bad officiating for a long time I definitely agree with you.
  11. Is it too much to ask to have one game that the Bills lose NOT be because of officiating according to TBD? It would seem so. <sigh>
  12. Watch it again tomorrow after you have calmed down. The pile, including the ball carrier, were moving forward pushed by Bills players. If you feel the need to be pissed, get pissed at the Bills ball carrier for only keeping 1 hand on the ball. The Bills took a team to overtime that no one, even most Bills fans, gave them a chance of winning. That will have to be enough for now.
  13. Let me address all in one: 1) There was still forward progress as the Bills were still pushing the pile forward. Valid strip and correct call. No excuse for not having both hands on the ball. 2) The Bills got a couple very favorable spots in key times. 3) The non interception call was correct. Never got 2 feet down. As far as PI goes, both players were abusing each other all during that play. Could have called PI either way. Probably a correct no call though a tough one as far as the Bills are concerned. 4) The Bills player throwing his helmet down was inexcusably stupid. That may very well have cost the Bills the game. And again, the correct call. Good teams find a way to win when they are playing bad. Bad teams find a way to lose when they are playing good.
  14. I am upset about the entire Lynch situation and how, in my opinion, it was criminally mishandled in every way. Lynch was not a rookie. Nix in particular should have know what he was capable of. And Nix also knew he wanted Spiller and should have had a plan in place and ready to execute draft day for if Spiller was still on the board when the Bills were up (which of course he was almost certainly going to be). You know, like a good (or at least competent) GM would do.
  15. Is he looking for a football team???
  16. Actually the business plan was sound. The plan was to be hauling trucks back and forth as the main source of revenue. That's why the thing was so freaking huge. The problem is, they delayed that part of it for some reason and the project failed. Execution incompetence, not lack of a plan.
  17. This is the one that gets under my skin. I can almost accept the rebuild or rookie GM excuses for everything else. But this ... this bit of incompetence infuriates me.
  18. NFL in a few years if they keep going the way they are.
  19. Worst team in football at the moment with what many consider the worst management and ownership as well. A uncertain future when the elderly owner passes. Yeah that sounds like a recipe for getting all kinds of financial backing for a new Bills stadium. Even New York State isn't that !@#$ing stupid.
  20. The Bills won't be nearly as profitable once Mr. Wilson passes and the new owners have the huge debt to pay off ... assuming they keep the team in Buffalo. That plus the aging stadium would probably propel them right to the top of your list of candidates.
  21. Well ... uhhh ... the Bills play tomorrow and in Baltimore so I would expect the stadium to be empty right now.
  22. The ones whining about this article are some of the same ones who were predicting the Bills would shock the media and go 10-6 or better and make the playoffs. They were the same ones who **** on TG and others when they said the Bills were probably going to suck. Their feelings are hurt so they lash out by flexing their internet muscles and insulting the person/people in the media who was/were realistically correct.
