  1. That would appear to be changing.
  2. We actually agree I said they didn't care about wins/losses. They are using this season for evaluation including Fitz and Brohm. Would have been a nice gesture to start the fire sale before people bought their seasons this year, but cest la vie.
  3. Andre Anderson was signed to the practice squad only after Bell was signed by Philly. Now he was promoted to the roster. After being undrafted and released by Oakland of all teams. The Bills are in full fire sale mode now and care little about the rest of this season from a wins/losses perspective.
  4. So NE, the team that gave up a 4th for Moss, used him well for a few seasons, then traded him for a 3rd (IE a team that generally does not make stupid moves). They are the team that is going to give up said 3rd round pick to pick up a 2nd or 3rd WR with a 9.5 million dollar price tag? Hahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaha! Dare to dream man
  5. I agree. The rationalizations also are unreal. How Lynch sucked, not a difference maker etc. just because he is no longer a Bill. He is a former first round pick and pro bowl selection. And yes they were showcasing him the past few weeks, but aside from Fitz running, Lynch was the only other player worth a **** for the Bills. So he did not suck. Is he the type of player that was going to turn the Bills into a respectable team .. no. So they traded a player who would have left as soon as he could anyway for a couple middle of the road draft picks. Not the greatest move in the world but not completely stupid either. Now NE though. They give up a 4th to get Moss, use him for a few good seasons, then trade him for a 3rd. Now that's a good series of trades by a team. But I digress. Comparing CJ to Lynch makes no sense. Completely different styles. Do you see CF runing between the tackles or in on a 3rd and 2 ... no. Comparing apples to oranges there. Will Fred Jackson be able to fill that roll with this OL? We will soon see.
  6. Very uninspiring line for a very uninspiring game I guess.
  7. Nix and Gailey had to "see for themselves". Last season wasn't good enough for them. Plus during the season they can try to catch some teams desperate. GB for example needs a RB bad, as did Seattle. In theory that improves your bargaining position and gets you more in the trade. Hasn't played out that way so far though.
  8. Does it matter? If anyone is stupid enough to offer a 2nd for Evans they sure as hell better take it. But I can't imagine anyone is that stupid.
  9. Actually he probably is in his last year. As per PFT ... His last year of the rookie contract can be voided based on how many games he missed in the first 5 years.
  10. Apparently a 6th, conditionally a 5th. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/120990-and-the-conditional-pick-is/
  11. Nice rationalization for the trade. Yup, no point crying about it.
  12. Hahahahahahahahahahaha Thanks for perhaps the most ridiculous analogy ever
  13. It should be televised in the Jags home market, which means there will be a network feed. You don't think the network talking heads would make a point to show some video of a large group of fans in Buffalo wearing bags on their heads? Not sayin' it will ever happen, but if it did it would get coverage even if the game was blacked out in Buffalo.
  14. Better start making your alternate plans if you want to watch Sundays game.
  15. What you are talking about is a competitive team, not professional. To the best of my knowledge they are getting paid (in some cases vastly overpaid IMO) which makes them professional. Like it or not (and I like most people do not) Mr. Wilson is doing the minimum required. Although a class action suit filed by season ticket holders pleading your argument would be entertaining Any lawyers with a pair in here?
  16. That was so long ago, and so short of a stretch, how is that even relevant compared to the rest of his time in the NFL. And that oft quoted Jerry Jones argument. But riddle me this, if Jerry Jones made such a big mistake firing Chan, why did he never even interview him again when he had openings ... much less hire him. Chan isn't a bad coach, but he also is not a great coach either (at least according to his employment history). He is a mediocre coach. People need to understand this and not expect miracles from the man.
  17. Absolutely correct. Mr. Wilson puts a product on the field and sells tickets to watch it along with team merchandise, concessions etc. If you like the product you buy it. If you don't like it you don't buy it. Simple concept, embrace it. Bottom line is Mr. Wilson meets his contractual obligation every week. It is your option to buy what he offers or not.
  18. Actually he got into the game yesterday for a couple snaps. But who's counting.
  19. I disagree. They should have known this is essentially the same team as last year with a new mediocre head coach. They made the choice to buy and now live with that choice. Besides, some (maybe even most now that seasons sales were down 11000) will continue to buy them no matter what. No need to feel sorry for them, they knew what they were doing.
  20. It is harder for them. They are used to watching quality.
  21. I think they put something like "Lassie" on in this case, not another football game. As per the NFL blackout rule no doubt. What looks worse, empty seats or seats filled with Steelers fans?
  22. So you are suggesting very strongly that the Bills start flailing and thrashing around, waive the players that thought were best during OTAs and preseason willy nilly, play practice squad players and anyone else they can find to sign, just to stop the fans from "abandoning the team"? And this is going to make them play better and/or help the (alleged) rebuilding that is going on? Dude, take a deep breath, back away from the keyboard and get laid or something. You are losing it
  23. So what's the Vegas line on the Bills Jags next week going to be now?
  24. Who hired Edwards in the first place? That is the dumb ass who needs to be fired.
