  1. Perhaps you heard of the NFL forcing teams to play games out of the country? Yes, even the J E T S. I'm not saying that's why the Bills play in Toronto (that was just the Bills owner wanting some more cash in his pocket), but out of the country play is not limited to the Bills.
  2. Hah hah, !@#$ing NYC retard Typical Jets fan. In an effort to help the mentally challenged: in·vin·ci·ble    /ɪnˈvɪnsəbəl/ Show Spelled[in-vin-suh-buhl] –adjective 1. incapable of being conquered, defeated, or subdued. I believe that is the word you were trying to use. But even that is incorrect as they have already lost a game this season. Please go back to your own kind and kiss Fatboy Ryans ass a little more. He misses you. But none in their "home" state. But if it helps, I wish NYC was actually part of NJ instead of NY.
  3. I have to agree with you there, Dean-O.
  4. Well written and fair article. Edwards was not a good fit in Buffalo. That is clear and has been clear for some time. Edwards might be a good pocket passer (like a Brady style for example), but he needs a pocket to work from. Put pressure on him and it's game over. The current offensive line, with no improvements to it this past off season, doomed Edwards before the season even began. I still think if given the right team (more specifically a team that can protect the passer) he might turn into a decent QB. That is, if all the concussions and battering he took as a Bill didn't snuff out any potential that he might have had. For his sake, I hope he gets a chance in the proper setting and I wish him well. If Nix and Gailey don't do something to turn the offensive line into more than a turnstile for opposing defenses, any QB is in for a tough time.
  5. It's not just one thing, it's a mix of everything. Sloppy drunken !@#$s, economy, price, product on the field, it all factors in. But personally I think the overriding factor is product on the field, at least in Buffalo. You could keep everything else the same as it is now except field a team that has a chance of going deep into the playoffs and I guarantee you tickets to games would be in high demand and there would be no question of any home games selling out.
  6. Nicely said. And if that line doesn't sum up the last 10 years in Buffalo then nothing does.
  7. What message is that? If you get cut by Buffalo you can get picked up by a (marginally) better team within 24 hours? Do you seriously think players in the NFL think they are not accountable? Come on now.
  8. DONG DONG DONG DONG
  9. Big if ... but sure makes that game a lot more interesting.
  10. Edwards is better .. oh wait. If all they wanted was to put an ass on the bench in case of dire emergency, they should have just stayed pat.
  11. Well they signed Levi. Better than Roscoe for a "holy ****, what do we do now" QB I suppose. Gotta hand it to Nix and Gailey, they sure keep you guessing
  12. I agree with the bolded part. The rest, IMO, is irrelevant.
  13. What if we win out the rest of the season? 17-2 16-3 baby!
  14. That was NE*, not the Bills. I can't imagine Chan Gaileys playbook or gameplan for this week is causing Rex Ryan to lose any sleep.
  15. I have no issue playing Brohm even now instead of Fitz and see what he's got. Like you said, any realistic fan knew the team would blow this year. But can you explain why releasing him outright was the smart thing to do now instead of keeping him collecting splinters in his ass unless something catastrophic happened? I can't think of even one reason, unless like I said they are about to sign someone who they think has future potential.
  16. Maybe because it WAS a bonehead play. Why on earth get rid of him unless you have a viable replacement lined up? Benching him makes perfect sense. Releasing him with no replacement is stupid. How they did it regarding the other players on the team is yet more fuel to the bonehead fire. All this did was save Ralph a little money, and make the Trent haters very happy. Unless of course they sign another QB this week that actually has some potential. As to the bolded part ... if you are included in the "we" then apparently not.
  17. The other owners have a say in any potential sale as well. Lots of possible scenarios. No point worrying about that day until it comes.
  18. Or ... it could just mean that the Bills really do suck.
  19. uhhh our next 5 games are Jets, Jags, Ravens, Chiefs and Bears.
  20. Jags and Browns are the two best chances in my opinion.
  21. People defending this fiasco are unbelievable. Players found out that one of their captains, and starting QB 8 days before, gets cut not from Gailey or some other Bills person, but from watching ESPN! Regardless of what you think of Edwards as a QB, this is the definition of a clown organization, pure and simple. Now consider this. Assuming the Bills don't sign another QB by Sunday they have Fitz and Brohm. If, God forbid, Fitz goes down (they are playing a real defense this week remember, not the Pats) that leaves Brohm and who as a backup ... Roscoe is it? Then the Bills have to scramble and sign whoever will agree to come to this team. They don't even have a QB on the practice squad to call up I don't believe. If the Bills cut Edwards just for the hell of it, or to send a message, or whatever other bull **** reasons have been thrown around without being close to signing some other QB then they are every bit the joke organization that the majority of the media is making them out to be. We will know this by Sunday.
  22. The Bills have a plan at QB? Do tell.
  23. I'll take the under. I can't believe anyone here believes that was the case with Edwards.
  24. Not if they figured the Bills were going to release him anyway.
