  1. The Bills are pretty much where I thought they would be. Except that I was hoping Allen wouldn't have been put in before now.
  2. My thought is, is there ever going to be a loss where there isn't one or more threads complaining about a perceived bias against the Bills?
  3. I gotta go at least 90% on that man.
  4. That was inexcusable, rookie or no.
  5. It's a bird .. It's a plane ... For the hurdle ... Oh F$%#, coach is going to be pissed at me!
  6. I find people who make statements like yours to have the narrow reference frame. If you are looking for blue collar "things to do", Buffalo is as good as any and maybe even better than most. If, however, you are looking for more "culture" such as art or plays, or clubs and other high end party nightlife, or 5 star cuisine other than wings and Italian, and so on, Buffalo is probably not going to be your cup of tea. It all depends on what you are are looking for and enjoy doing. Personally I would prefer Buffalo to say NYC, but there are others who would go the other way.
  7. That's great to hear!
  8. Josh Allen (except for the hurdle ... we need you in one piece Josh, stop doing that ) OC Whoever called the plays on D (likely McCoach) Every viking that stepped onto the field. That was a hideous effort by every single one of them. Even as bad as week 1 was for the Bills, they were not anywhere near as disturbingly bad as the vikings were yesterday in every single way possible.
  9. Only 2 games in and the non-game-day day drinking has already begun.
  10. I listen sometimes to local espn radio on the drive to work. One day this week the topic was based on nothing but week 1 performance, who are the top 5 teams. One was the ravens. After the chuckles subsided from the others, he explained by saying yeah I know, the Bills are absolutely terrible, but the Ravens did what you expect a good team to do when they play a terrible team, dominate in every aspect of the game and crush them on the scoreboard. And they did it while resting many starters almost the entire 2nd half. It was embarrassing to listen to because it was accurate.
  11. Pegula didn't become a billionaire by pissing money away.
  12. For all you true Billievers looking to make a buck
  13. Yeah he looked pretty good last night. A lot of time between now and 11/11, but is anyone confident of the Bills winning that game right now?
  14. I thought he had the deer in the headlights look during the post game, not that I blame him. That was one fugly game from start to finish. His comment of the game getting away from them early and needing to review the video made my entire family chuckle.
  15. Actually I thought the punter, who I never heard of before yesterday, did well overall. Yeah he stone-handed the one fumble, but given his newness, and the weather I'll give him a pass on that. But otherwise, yeah, what you said.
  16. Hopefully you are right about this Sunday. But all the pride in the world can't make up for lack of overall talent.
  17. He said short term. Allen managed 3 points yesterday in a half against a Ravens team resting a lot of starters because they play Thursday. And with some zebra help on that PI call where the Bills receiver grabbed the defenders facemask to pull him into the contact. I also think Allen will be a good QB when he is ready. But it is very clear that time is not now.
  18. Alcohol my friend. Lots and lots of alcohol.
  19. Not for Bills fans. Some national media thought this game was a blowout however. Maybe not quite that horrific though I agree.. Imagine if the Ravens weren't playing this Thursday and kept their starters in the 2nd half. I suspect that's why Allen played.
  20. Teaching Bills Gambling 101 or looking to take a class? Week 1 is always a crap shoot anyway.,
  21. 4th preseason game. 20+ players were told before the game they would not see the field ... that's NFL coach speak for you made the team. People playing in that game were largely there to show one last time why they should make the final 53, and to have film for other teams to watch if they don't make the cut. Or in McCarrons case, likely to see if any offers would come in. IMO, Peterman will start against the Ravens.
  22. Fair enough. The Oline being in apparently such terrible shape seems to be a big fail, but ultimately the same holds true for them.
  23. If the fiasco Sunday was your main point of reference, and it probably was for BR, it's very easy to see why they might think the Bills might be looking at the basement. Last seasons backing into the playoffs may have given Bills fans reason to believe McCoach is the second coming, when in reality "the process" is still in place. They got their QB, and it is early, but early indications are that he is a keeper. But there is still a long way to go talent wise. Receivers, Oline, running backs (excluding Shady who isn't getting any younger). This year may look like a regression due in large part to the Bills D going nuts with turnovers last season and the good fortune to make it to the playoffs and end the drought. But the Bills are still rebuilding, Rome wasn't built in a day and the Bills can't be rebuilt in a day either.
  24. Bleacher Report seems to think the sky is indeed falling. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2792785-are-the-buffalo-bills-already-the-nfls-worst-team
