  1. Hmmm. True. Should have chosen my words better. I should have said that I can't think of a good reason.
  2. I see your point. But in this case what exactly is the devil he knows? I believe this is his third HC, a completely new coaching staff, a change in ownership imminent, and rumors at the very least of yet another GM. The only consistency seems to be the hideous records of the team for the past 13 years.
  3. I suspect the two happiest people in the world to hear that Byrd got tagged were Levitre and his agent. Now he is free to pursue a long term deal with whomever shows interest in him, including the Bills. Though honestly I cannot come up with one reason for him to want to stay on the Bills if there are other teams with similar offers.
  4. How much "find somewhere" is a team supposed to do in one off season? They had holes-a-plenty then created some more by letting a couple starters go. A DE retired. Still haven't signed Byrd or Levitre. At some point you have to stop the bleeding and realize there is only so much you can do in one off season.
  5. FYI for others, maxim link might not be safe for work. My work filter flagged it But yeah, she certainly looks like a "wow".
  6. I have heard that some people put their kids on the waiting list shortly after they are born.
  7. Geez I certainly hope Nix, a long time professional scout and current GM of a NFL team , isn't thinking the same way a group or buttheads on a message board are whose only collective football experience is drinking beer while watching a game once a week for 16 weeks. If Nix is thinking the same way posters on here are then the Bills are far worse off than I thought.
  8. Ooooof ... Still trying to wrap my head around Smith being a slight upgrade over Fitz. But be that as it may, if KC is in a win now mode, what mode are the Bills in after the last 13 years of sucking?
  9. Any advantages to being there in person versus watching on ESPN other than "the game day experience" type of thing like going to games versus watching on TV?
  10. Or just display the official times immediately. It's not rocket science.
  11. Buddy Nix and Darcy Regier ... Buffalos dynamic duo.
  12. I am assuming the simucam is ESPNs too. But it could be an NFL plot to somehow trick the Bills into making bad picks!
  13. I believe the official times are from when they break the beam at the start line and when they break the other one after 40 yards. That is why they can start whenever they are ready as opposed to having a starting gun kind of thing. The unofficial times are somebody from ESPN or somewhere clicking their stopwatch when it looks like the player starts moving and when it looks like they cross the finish line. That's why the two times differ. Now why they need unofficial times at all and just don't automatically post the official times immediately I can't explain.
  14. In that case dump him.
  15. What business is it of the NFLPA if Marcia decided to give the Pats* a hometown discount? Assuming it's all on the up and up (big assumption for the Pats* I know), that's his business. Probably likes it there, wants to retire from there, and wants it to remain a strong team while he is there. What's a couple million to him. He has a house in Cali with a freaking moat that cost $20 million for Christs sake.
  16. My theory is there is no good reason to handcuff a new coach. You have to let them do things their way and give them enough rope to either succeed or hang themselves.
  17. And lest we forget, imported a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader to the Buffalo area!
  18. This draft class seems to be flush with WR talent if what I am reading is correct.
  19. Exactly. Manning is out and the Colts epically suck in the one season that assured them the ability to draft the second coming of Manning. And they now have their franchise QB for the foreseeable future. Meanwhile the Bills are giving Fitz the big contract. Well played Indy. In my opinion, the Bills organization has nothing over the Colts. From front office down through the players. Cream rises ot the top while the **** sinks to the bottom. Guess which the Bills are currently. Still hoping that changes but for now it's only a hope.
  20. People wondering how he can afford to take so "little"? He is already rich as !@#$. He is still making 9 mil per year, and his wife makes 45 mil a year. This "cut" in pay gives the Pats* something like 15 mil in cap space. He doesn't need more money, but while he is still playing he wants to be on a winning team. Pretty easy to understand.
  21. I disagree. Bills fandom, particularly season ticket buying fandom, is as solid as ever. Plus they have the built in excuse of new coaching staff and lots of new players should the Bills suck again this season. The ticket buying public will excuse at least one season of sucking under Marrone.
  22. Yet they went 11-5 last year and made the playoffs. And aside from the "suck for Luck" season (which I contend was no accident) you have to go back to 2001 for a sub .500 season. Yeah that certainly sounds like a team with less talent than a team that has been below .500 since 2004.
  23. With all the holes they had already, plus the new ones that have been created recently, I don't see how the Bills cannot be active in FA. They can't be planning on plugging all the holes simply from the draft. Though WR does seem like one they can fill in the draft this year if they so choose. I have to admit that the Nix logic does elude me as well.
