  1. I did and it shows the 2012 schedule. 2013 is not out yet.
  2. Here is a good one for pointing digital antennas. http://www.antennapoint.com/
  3. That's for sure. King Roger has friends in high places.
  4. I don't know. Being fans of Marcia and the Cheatriats are definitely signs of being abused as children.
  5. 1) The government gave the NFL special permission to operate as a monopoly. I would think protecting the fans from price gouging due to that decision is not too much to ask. Granted it's not like a NFL jersey is a basic necessity of life, but if the gov't allows the monopoly they have a responsibility to make sure it isn't abused in my opinion. 2) Good question and I wanted to make sure, so using DHGate as one small example I went to the site and searched for the jerseys of a couple well known NFL players and came up with no hits. I then searched for a couple well known baseball players jerseys and hockey players jerseys and found some. If all companies are equal in the eyes of the government, why don't they protect MLB and the NHL as much as the NFL?
  6. Agreed. But to me anyway, they really seem to go out of their way for the NFL. For example, they have been going after Microsoft almost forever about being a monopoly and price fixing, but they wrote a law specifically allowing the NFL to have a monopoly. And I never remember reading anything about the government looking into why anything NFL costs so much, and at the same time someone put pressure on DHGate to stop advertising fake jerseys. Seems they get special treatment for some reason.
  7. The government seems to cater to the NFL and seemingly always has. From allowing the monopoly, to tax breaks, to law enforcement pursuing copyright infringements (fake jerseys etc.) and now taking strong quick action on an insignificant event such as this. I'm not sure why they seem to get preferential treatment, but they sure seem to.
  8. Not sure what this could be because he was on stage at Darien Lake during a Tim McGraw concert 3 days ago throwing out autographed footballs (a friend of mine got one).
  9. The actual Nike licensed ones and the numbers were bad after 1 wash? Yikes.
  10. Good advice. And the bolded has been discussed here in many, many threads before
  11. I agree. But the NFL wants more offense, not less, to make it more exciting for the casual fan.
  12. Love it. A team that went 6-10 last year, has hit the awesome .500 mark once in the last 10 years, hasn't seen the playoffs this century, complete coaching change only 3 years after the last one... this is the team that the rest of the NFL is going to monitor closely in hope of acquiring for their cast offs. There is absolutely no logic that I can detect in the post. I do however, respect the level of optimism it takes to post such a thing.
  13. Kodak still has an impact on the local economy ... albeit a negative one.
  14. Another thread was throwing around a number of 4.5 which seemed low to me. This number seems much more realistic. Still far to many unknowns to make any kind of an educated guess at this point. Including but not limited to: - How much of the Jets D was due to Pettine and how much was Sexy Rexy. - Who will be the starting QB. If EJ, how quick will he adjust to the NFL. - How well will Marrone's offense, which quite frankly did not set the world on fire at Syracuse, translate to the NFL. Anyone taking that bet now is either a gambler in every sense of the word, or is suffering from a kool-aid or negative-nancy overdose.
  15. It should be removed in my opinion ... and immediately. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/congress-may-review-nfl-tax-exempt-status-004521453.html
  16. I think it would be better for everyone if you drink twice as much as you ever have during the tailgate, then pass out before the game. This saves you, and every Bills fan, the embarrassment of you being in the stadium.
  17. I have a solution to this whole mess. Give the ring to me, a disinterested third party. I'm a big enough Bills fan to step in and take one for the team. In all seriousness I really don't give a rats hairy ass who gets the ring or anything else. I just hope it gets settled before the Bills make their way to SJF for camp so the 100 million dollar man to concentrate on the business at hand.
  18. Do you have to stand to make noise? I get the concept of trying to disrupt the opponents offense. But do you have to stand to do so? If the people behind you are telling you to shut up I am totally on your side. But if like you said, it is only to sit down I am on their side. That's another reason I like to watch at home. Considerably less drama. I only have my wife telling me to shut up
  19. They did nothing to you fellow Bills fan. They merely opened the door and you jumped back in
  20. You have to remember that not everyone thinks that standing for most of the game and yelling and screaming like a madman defines the "game-day experience". Just because some don't want to do that doesn't mean they do not enjoy the game live. There are areas of the Ralph where that is not only acceptable, but expected. And areas where it is not. To each his own.
  21. The south is more laid back in general. But I think it tends to be more of a blue collar thing.
  22. I personally think a stadium filled with away fans looks worse than an empty stadium. And it's easy to tell, just from the crowd noise on TV if nothing else. But for us needing sellouts in order to see the game on TV, away fans are better than a non sellout.
  23. To make any kind of a bet now, with basically no data to work from, you need to be a real gambler. I'm not a real gambler. But even as bad as they sucked the past 2 seasons, they managed to win 6 games. And 3 years ago when they were beyond painful to watch, they managed 4 wins. Given that, 4.5 wins to me does not seem like a very big reach at all.
  24. OK all you with seasons, time to start buying tickets to the rest of the games and sell them out too!
  25. Yeah my wife got club seats from her financial planner, now she doesn't want to sit in anythng but club.
