  1. If you are really interested use the nice search feature of this forum. This has been discussed ad nauseam. I prefer not to feed the trolls.
  2. If the Bills trade Spiller they will get at least a 2nd for him. There are teams that could make good use of a scat-back.
  3. Dancing With The Stars ... and I applaud you fine sir/madam for not knowing! I can only wish I did not!
  4. What a refreshing new outlook that I have never heard before! DWTS?
  5. He is in a large market that LOVES their team. The court date will be postponed until after their season ends and/or he will be given some kind of community service slap on the wrist.
  6. This is true, but also helped by the situation he is in. I mean Seattle actually has a NFL caliber team after all. Blind homerism just makes people hate.
  7. I don't know what to think about this game. At least it is a 1:00 start so i can record it and watch in 75 minutes instead of 3 hours.
  8. You were right the first time as bolded above. I don't fall into that trap for the Bills for some reason, but I do sometimes for the Sabres. Seems to happen more to me if I am at the game versus watching on TV. Maybe because on TV you can see multiple slow motion replays instead of getting swept up in the emotion of the homer crowd.
  9. The Bills have sucked for as long as my kids have been alive and they are still Bills fans. Almost certainly because of me. But they expect the Bills to suck every season, and why wouldn't they. One of my sons came home the other day with a 49'ers t-shirt though, so who knows. My oldest has a bit of a foul mouth at times. I call him on it when I hear it, but it emerged during the fumbles yesterday and I could not bring myself to scold him then
  10. I don't think this generally happens right after the hire. Even for Gailey, who had no history at all of being a winner as a HC, most of the talk here was how the Bills did great and how firing Gailey was Jerrahs biggest mistake and so on. If you eliminate #2 I think you are spot on though.
  11. I only watch the Bills now and only because they are my local team. If they moved I would probably all but stop watching football altogether.
  12. That's pretty impressive. Get him on the sideline!
  13. SJ13 is what he is by this point in his career. A decent slot receiver throughout most of the game, but chokes on the big ones. No reason for a point of emphasis on him.
  14. If your argument is that yesterdays game was basically which turd in the toilet bowl floated the longest then OK. But how does that relate to the Bills playing, in your words, an "excellent" game? Essentially, how can you play an excellent game against a 2-9 team and lose?
  15. Buffalo Bills Playoff Chances Lost to Atlanta 31-34, playoff odds down 2.2 to 1.1% 4-8-0 .333 So what you are saying is .. there's a chance!
  16. Because it is one they should have won. As bad as Atlanta is this season, even the talking heads thought so for a change. Your expectations, along with those of most of the Bills nation, were higher than normal which makes the loss that much more difficult.
  17. Atlanta, before yesterday, was 2-9.
  18. League officials, who are on salary, discuss maximizing profits? I'm sure owners do. But if you think they figure out week to week who wins and who looses and tell the officials to implement it, and this has happened for at least 14 years without something leaking, then you are probably one of those who think the pharoes were ancient aliens and the CIA blew up the twin towers Benefit of the doubt is pretty simple. At full speed, which is what the (probably too old) officials have to go by, if a play is close and they see a first ballot HOFer against a nobody WR or DB they figure the better player probably made the better play.
  19. Like the 1919 black sox you say
  20. I agree that 14 straight years of no playoffs with the way the NFL schedules and draft are setup would seemingly be very difficult to accomplish without outside interference. But if you look at the series of GMs, HCs, and the players they acquired during that time you will see a pattern of incompetence that can also explain it. Too early to lump Marrone/Whaley in with that group in my opinion, but we will see.
  21. I am willing to give Brandon the benefit of the doubt and say I'm sure he thought many Bills would travel to Toronto and the atmosphere there would be similar to the Ralph. But by this point it is pretty obvious that is not the case and the last extension and any future extensions are nothing more than a money grab.
  22. Manipulated implies a conspiracy and I can't buy into that. I would agree however that the better teams/players tend to get the benefit of the doubt.
  23. So you are saying Bills fans here are over achieving this week?
  24. Yes I did. But I am not one of those that thinks all of the bad calls have gone against the Bills for the last 14 years and there is a conspiracy against them.
