  1. I do not believe that for a second. Would you stop going to and watching NFL games completely if the Seahawks moved to Vancouver? ... Exactly.
  2. There must be some form of electronic transfer available. If you call your ticket rep I'm sure they can tell you. And please post back here if you do
  3. Damn you both, now I'm hungry! So is there wifi?
  4. You are comparing apples to oranges. One game played by the Buffalo Bills, not the Toronto Leafs or whatever, a season. Plus the team has sucked every year of the "experiment". I do not know if a team there would be viable or not. But I strongly suspect that the people backing JBJ know a lot more about the market there than anyone here does.
  5. I get where you are coming from, and while I do not strictly agree I do understand. But is this a reason to come into a NFL training camp not fit enough to practice?
  6. So then, Sully is on vacation at the start of camp. Makes me want to read his schlock all the more.
  7. I'm hoping Gilmore continues to improve and won't have to hold as much to keep from being beaten.
  8. This for sure. Even if he did not, the hired consultant would let them know in about 5 minutes.
  9. That link I posted I believe shows how to set security so others would not be able to. Plus it's not that strong, a person would have to be real close to you.
  10. Be careful too, particularly if you do not have an unlimited data plan
  11. I don't intend on changing your mind, but not athletes? That is just silly. The fitness and toughness of the average hockey player is far superior to that of any of the top 3 US sports. And regarding world wide support, it is far more popular in the rest of the world (Europe in particular) than football or basketball. Baseball is surprisingly popular in Japan and is growing in China so I'm not sure which is more popular. I also dislike the assclowns like Peters and Kaletta. I saddened me deeply to see that the Sabres have a Kaletta-Junior in development camp. Every year there is less and less need for players like them. Hopefully the Sabres will figure that out as well.
  12. Personal hotspot is an option as well. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4517
  13. To my knowledge it does not out at the practice fields. Or at least it did not in previous years. I think my wife and kids are going today so I will ask them to check.
  14. I disagree only in that it should not have to be made mandatory or put in the contract. The players are supposed to be professionals and as such should be motivated enough, and professional enough, to keep themselves in shape and not show up to camp as an overweight out of shape slob. My daughter is a high school basketball player. During the entire off season she is working with a coach, and doing strength training etc. to keep herself fit and strong and improve her game. She does this willingly on her own. You would think all professional athletes would care at least as much as a high school kid. But, some people simply have no self discipline and cannot workout without someone forcing them to. Multimillionaire athletes however, can and should hire someone if they lack the self discipline themselves. Were I a NFL GM I would have absolutely no patience for anyone who disrespected the team enough to show up to camp out of shape.
  15. The list is posted now. EJ Manuel and Thad the Impaler in the autograph tent(s) today! Though it looks like they have it setup different this year. Two tents with one player each instead of one tent with 4 players like previous years. FredEx is signing tomorrow, 7/22!
  16. Well technically assuming both teams sell out all home games ... Ralph capacity 73,967 * 8 home games = 591,736 FNC capacity 19,070 * 41 home games = 781,870 I do agree that the Bills have more fans in the area than the Sabres do. But I think it is probably a lot closer than you might think. The Sabres consistently draw very large TV audiences, even when they suck like recently. I can tell by your posts that you do not care for hockey and that is fine. But be that as it may, Buffalo is a very strong hockey market. There is no question about that.
  17. It would appear we have been worrying about nothing! http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24629677/report-jon-bon-jovi-also-wants-to-keep-the-bills-in-buffalo
  18. Obviously it doesn't matter how I answer as it has been going on since Mr. Wilsons passing
  19. Yup, exactly. The Sabres development camp was this week with lots of open practices and an open scrimmage that was streamed live. The Bills had ... players carrying TVs to their dorm rooms at SJF. If the OP and others don't like WGR, then why do you keep listening?
  20. Nothing ever adds up when 100% of the process is behind closed doors. We don't have a clue as to what really is going on. All we can do is wait and see.
  21. The NFL has already declared their desire to go international. And it makes sense as expanding their market seems to be the only way for them to continue to grow revenue. A team in Canada, and particularly Toronto due to its close proximity to the US, would seem to have the best chance of success over a place like London for example. If a team cannot succeed there, they can pretty much forget Europe. If a team in Toronto did fail, the team could just be sold again and/or move to another location in the US and the NFL would have valuable information regarding its international expansion plans.
  22. Wouldn't it make more sense to suggest something that is both possible, and may help the end goal of letting the NFL know there will be no support for a lame duck Buffalo Bills? Something like having all season ticket holders and multi-game package buyers tell or write their reps that should the team be sold to an out of town buyer they would immediately cancel all support for the team. This at least would tell the team/trust/NFL something. What you suggest is simply asinine. Of course even my counter proposal will have no effect. The members of the trust are not stupid, and neither are the 31 NFL owners or the potential buyers (or their advisors). Assuming a new owner can't afford to move the team for 7 more seasons, all parties involved are well aware of the potential financial consequences of their actions and the worst case scenario would be accounted for in their business plans. It's not a matter of 99% of the people here being unwilling to take action. Rather that 99% of the people here choose to use their brains.
  23. Are you kidding? London is a great city. I lived there for a year when I was in my early 20's and I loved it. Given a choice between spending the season in Buffalo or London any non-WNYer with half a brain takes London in a heartbeat.
  24. I don't know how this is going to play out any more than the rest of you. But man JBJ is sure getting a lot of press about this.
