  1. You lost me right here. A first string RB that cannot run between the tackles at all?
  2. I voted yes not because of this past weekends game. How could you? He played with and against 2nd stringers and lower. I voted yes because I see Manuel's potential limited to being an average NFL QB if the Bills are lucky. I think JF's potential is considerably higher than that. But at the end of the day does the GM for either team make that trade based on the little NFL action either guy has seen? Extremely doubtful.
  3. So if a non AFCE team offers a 1st today, Whaley says no thanks?
  4. Really? That's the big news? Any wealthy individual with interest could have signed the NDA at that early stage.
  5. Clearly there is something going on behind the scenes that we have no clue about, and probably never will. Or, everything we think we know is all bull **** and all of this is nothing more than bull ****. Nice to be completely in the dark, isn't it
  6. Maybe. I have a hard time believing Spiller plays a significant role in their offense. He just doesn't to seem to be a every down kind of player. If they figured out a way to use him effectively and often that would be awesome, but I have a hard time with that. And if the other backs are the meat of this offense (which I believe) and one of them goes down, they cannot plug Spiller into that position. He is 180 degrees different from the others. But this is all mental masturbation anyway, no GM in their right mind would offer a 1st for him in his last year.
  7. Ahh the annual "point of emphasis" quote You can never tell with zebras I guess. And I do believe the NFL wants more scoring in an attempt to make the game more exciting for casual viewers who make up the vast majority of TV viewership I strongly suspect. So who knows. Good news is, in the HOF game anyway the Bills didn't draw many flags.
  8. I have no trouble believing this at all. But if a GM not in the AFCE calls Whaley and says "how about Spiller for a 2015 1st?" I think there will be a lengthy discussion at OBD at the very least
  9. This generally happens in preseason games. Then they back off when the regular season rolls around.
  10. It's a wise man who travels with a spare
  11. Uhhhhhh ... off the top of my head, play Tuel/Lewis the rest of the game. And depending upon the nature of the injury and the evaluations of Tuel/Lewis by the coaching staff and Whaley, go shopping for a QB or not. Hardly seems like rocket science. A far more interesting question would be: What would TBD do if EJ got hurt this preseason?
  12. This makes sense. The rest of the "leaks" do not.
  13. Kelly and Trump have been friends for a while and Kelly's family stayed in Trumps apartment/condo while in NY for the treatments recently so him aligning with Trump would not surprise me. But Toronto group, no way.
  14. It just dawned on me how downright silly this process has become at this point. Really making the trustees look like a bunch of clowns.
  15. You should care actually. That's almost three 3 and outs you are talking about which tires a defense and leads to multiple scores by the opponent compared to the one potential score on "the big one" for the Bills. Great recipe for last place.
  16. Already being discussed. http://forums.twobil...ay-to-see-live/
  17. Any team that has sucked for the past 15 years is obviously not going to be a big draw either live or in the TV market. But that statement is bull ****. Season ticket holders and plenty of others would go watch their team play, no matter who the opponent is. There are only 8 regular season home games a season after all.
  18. Spiiler always looks great in camp. Drive up his price maybe? I would be ecstatic if they could get a 1st for Spiller. But I can't imagine that happening.
  19. He might be tired of getting scooped continuously by Kryk, and out of Toronto no less, and getting a tad desperate.
  20. Wasn't part of the "iron clad" stadium lease that they could not even look into a new stadium now?
  21. My son saw that statement by Tebow as well and thinks the Bills should bring him in and take a look. His philosophy is no harm at this point. I can see what you both are saying, but I'm not sure bringing the circus to town is the right thing at this point.
  22. Great news. It is important for the Bills coaches to get a good idea of what they really have in this OLine. Hopefully the 1st string OLine and Panther DLine stay in a good long time.
  23. Or not. I doubt building a new stadium is one of the trusts requirements.
  24. Then I guess it's good he isn't wanting to be a QB scout then . Besides, of course he is going to publicly endorse every Bills QB. But we have no idea what he says behind closed doors to the coach/GM.
