  1. I know most of the focus is on Merriman, but I'm glad we brought back Delano. I think he's a solid player with a nice future. Hopefully he gets some more playing time, but for now it looks like he is #53 on a 53-man roster.
  2. I disagree. Regardless, I say we package picks for Geno. Or at least try to. This is the draft to try it.
  3. +1 I was going to post the same, but hey, you already said it.
  4. Cutler does not strike me as a guy who enjoys the herb.
  5. Wow. Didn't expect this, but I agree I think he was a good locker room presence.
  6. Levitre and Byrd are both essential imo. I think both are harder to replace than a lot of people believe.
  7. I wasn't able to watch the whole game, just the first few minutes and the (excruciating) end of the 4th plus OT. Did anyone focus on Nigel? How did he do?
  8. I thought I saw him pretty jazzed up after the miss. I actually focused on it during the replay but couldn't see for sure.
  9. Positives: -While I saw multiple, I'll mention what I thought was the most important: the players demeanor/body language on the field. Someone riled them up before this game, and they played hungry. That has been completely missing this whole season, imo. Negatives: -Throwing on first down, ever. -Throwing three in a row, ever. -Hell, I'd like to see them rarely throw on second down. Run the hell out of the ball. It's good for us and wears out their defense.
  10. This is what I can't stand about Chan, week after week. It's unbearable. Why they ever throw on first down, save for once or twice a game, is beyond me. We should never throw three in a row. However, my mood is upbeat after this game, and I can't wait until next week. Another "must win," in my opinion.
  11. Man, what is with Gailey's playcalling? That wildcat pass was shocking. Just shocking.
  12. Sure. In fact, I agree with you. But I was operating under the impression that Bills Players' Tweets were the topic/main point of this thread, no?
  13. Heard they tried the blitz a few times today. Turns out it was equally ineffective.
  14. Ok I could care less about whether they're on twitter or not, but I'll chime in because I clicked on the thread. I thought Aaron Williams handled his "tweets" well. Quite well, in fact. Having hundreds of people text you talking crap, presumably celebrating his injury, could bring out much worse in people. I thought he handled it with some class, even if it lacked a certain amount of humility at the outcome of the game. It certainly was not "lashing out at fans." Fred can say whatever he wants in my opinion, but again, I don't think his tweet was anything worth getting riled up about. Lashing out at Bills' fans? I think not. We played a historically bad game. It's gutting. It sucks. But don't look for issues when they aren't there. My .02, for whatever they're worth.
  15. Yep. For the first time, I'd be willing to give up a boatload of picks to land the top QB prospect.
  16. Wish I could be there, though I'm more tempted by the possibility of watching the game on TV and trying to make Hardly Strictly. That should be a blast. However, I don't really have time for anything, so I doubt I make either.
