    Because he's a PR/media communications guy, he's only had experience within one organization, I don't think carolina's front office is terribly impressive, and it seems like too much of a "yes man" move given the McD connection. Veach is a football guy with a good pedigree in the league.

    I'll be very upset if it's Beane. I'm not impressed by Carolina's front office, and to hire a single-franchise PR guy for our GM smacks of future disappointment to me. Seems super Billsy though. I'm pulling for Veach among the rumored names.

    I've been a believer in Glennon since I saw his early NFL performance. Vault me. Now we see how it goes. Would have loved to see him in Buffalo but did not expect that salary.

    The thought of Olson has me so darn concerned that AVP would seem like an absolute godsend. Is Russ puppeteering again?

    If we hire Greg Olson for OC my facade of detached indifference to this offseason is going to come crashing down.

    Norv being named OC would be a real gut punch.

    That he didn't want to move to LA might not be indicative of a total resistance to moving. LA is not exactly a great town. That said I think somehow managing to land Rivers is an absolute pipe dream.

    I'm actually reasonably comfortable with McDermott. He's had a fairly consistent performance (relative - as someone pointed out earlier ups and downs are nearly unescapable), and breathes football. I'd like to see our D under him for sure. Wonder if it's possible to retain Lynn as OC.
