While it's not the thread for that debate, the choice to throw the flag on that play and not the zillion other holds was probably excusable in a vacuum...but coupled with the ticky tack penalty on their center to kill a drive and the non flag on a crazy hold by the chiefs LT....I can empathize with Salah's rage.
To beat the chiefs you're playing against a team who gets 5 downs to your 4 when it gets to crunch time.
I'm gonna go ahead and give this a big ol' bump, because McGovern deserves it.
Our interior line play has been strong, and I am thrilled with McGovern. Plug and play from day 1.
Yep. I'm interested to see how this year's team may or may not differ from that trend. My eyes tell me it's a much more balanced offense... But we haven't seen them have to push.
I had high expectations for Kincaid and I think he'll live up to them, this season.
Look at our passing attempts per game (25 today?), allens ball distribution, and the running game. Plus being a TE in 12 formation. C'mon folks.
Josh is playing at an MVP level but the type of play you're describing was prevalent last year. Looks like we've turned a corner and i really think week one was a "good loss" in that respect.
