  1. "Just a sec!" "Cool beans." "In today's society..." "See, what had happened was..." Here in NE everyone uses the term "share out" when talking about speaking about something to a group of people (e.g., Johnny, would you please share out about your summer vacation?) I'm sure I'll come up with several more today at work.
  2. Powell just makes plays man. I've watched him closely in camp on two occasions and he has really impressed me. I also will say that I think he may the best punt/kickoff returner on the team. I haven't been thrilled with Reggie Bush. Looks slow and indecisive.
  3. The discussion in this thread is absurd and insulting to the collective intelligence of TBD. Don't feed the trolls.
  4. Mrs. Hammer and I have watched all the episodes. It's pretty good, but kind of all over the place and with one episode left I have no idea how they are going to wrap everything up (maybe they will not). I read online that it is a "limited series." I wonder what that means... The Killing on Netflix has been really good. Another murder "who done it" type of show. We're 6 or 7 episodes into season 1, and I believe there are 4 seasons. Really interesting stuff.
  5. I agree, but I think they will carry a FB and baby Gronk is not a traditional "crack your skull in half" full back that Roman loves.
  6. Pretty sure it doesn't matter for Felton. He's not on the roster to carry the football or make receptions. He's there to crack heads.
  7. Agreed. Meeks is terrible. I couldn't understand the hype he was getting earlier in camp.
  8. Seriously, can Carp not get close to the goal line from the 35? IMO, keeping a kickoff specialist is asinine.
  9. Agree with everything with one exception. I thought Ryan Groy was awful yesterday. Constantly getting pushed into the backfield, and seemed particularly bad in the run game. I think he is better than Velasco, but that's like saying a poke in the eye is better than a kick in the nuts. I hope they are able to find someone decent on waivers for quality depth.
  10. The defense looks more organized, and the pre-snap communication seems to be improved. Last season, watching the opposing offenses snap the football before our defense was even set was very frustrating.
  11. Not to mention the guy is a concussion away from being a certified window licker.
  12. Do you really think he is worth the money they are paying him?
  13. You da man! I've been looking for a couple weeks now. Ordered!
  14. Just got my Tyrod jersey in the mail yesterday.
  15. Where do you find those camo ones that Ed Reed wears? I've looked everywhere.
  16. Jeez...all sunshine and roses around here today.
  17. The marriage counselor said that Mrs. Hammersticks and I needed to make an effort to be more adventurous in the bedroom. After a few drinks last night she asked me to give her all 9 hard inches and make it hurt. Doing my best as a loving husband to accommodate, I put it in 3 times and punched her in the forehead.
  18. A bit of a tangent here, but I hate how Duke Williams tackles. He often flies up for the big hit, and fails to wrap up his tackle. Typically, the ball carrier just bounces off of him and scampers for more yards. This happened twice during the Colts game. That said, I have noticed a positive difference in his play during this offseason.
  19. The man who purchased the Playboy mansion, when he decides to move in, will need to purchase an additional 100 million dollars worth of Lysol.
  20. My dog used to chase people on a bike a lot. It got so bad I had to take his bike away. Pure gold...
  21. The deal would have to involve a 1st round pick, and yes, I'd trade away his &$$. Freaking unbelievable that he would be so disrespectful to his employers, coaches, family/friends, and the community.
  22. I didn't even know that those were the lyrics...
  23. I get it, OP. He appears confident and at-ease out there. Looks like he is always having fun. I like that, and JK behaved similarly on the football field. Big arm with a monster physical presence. Rookies, especially supposed project QB's, don't typically climb the pocket and hit Powell with that laser. We are all cautiously optimistic...well some more than others, but there is a lot to be excited about here. We shall see.
  24. TIL that joesixpack is a Nancy boy.
