  1. Easy - If it’s not a power laid out in the constitution, it’s unconstitutional and left to the states to handle. IMO the vast majority of the issues in this country would be solved if we followed the constitution. That way.... if it’s not enumerated in the constitution then a state can decide if they want that power. See healthcare as an example. Given that we live in a republic, you’ll end up having really liberty oriented states and socialist states and people are free to live in the place that works best for them. ? problem solved.
  2. hah. I mean, it’s not even debatable. Josh Allen is going to be the most important person for the Bills this week (and probably every week).
  3. It amazes me how everyone wanted to investigate the 2016 election when they were duped into thinking Trump conspired with the Russians. It was an effort to “protect our democracy” they said. Now that we all know that was a hoax, those same people apparently don’t want to investigate how/why/who perpetrated the hoax. Apparently that wouldn’t “protect our democracy”, I guess. ??‍♂️
  4. Here’s the issue: For all of time information was “owned” by a small group of people and could use that platform to disseminate whatever they wanted to in an effort to control the masses. That’s changed and information is now more or less available to everyone who wants to consume it. Now, there’s a lot of bad information as well, but generally average people can piece together what’s going on with a little time and effort. This is not really a revolutionary concept. The issue is that it’s exposing those legacy control groups. Government establishments, corporations endorsed by said governments, and obviously the media. So while this is going on there becomes three factions of people: 1) the apathetic, 2) those that cannot fathom that their worldview is suddenly changed and refuse to acknowledge it’s happening, and 3) those that are appreciative of the change and become more discerning in what they do and do not believe. The problem with the second group is that they will always be a group of useful idiots for the legacy establishment. The benefit for third group is that suddenly there’s much more liberty in knowing you’re not beholden to one side or party because you can discern information on your own.
  5. I’m honestly speechless reading this. How do I engage in a battle of wits with someone who’s unarmed?
  6. I honestly don’t think that’s possible and I’m saying that based on the actual evidence we’ve seen. The Mueller report and the transcript of the Ukraine call reveal nothing illegal or “misdeeds” as you say. The only thing it reveals is a concerted effort on the part of the government establishment to undo an election. I also don’t see how anyone has been threatened or are ruining any careers. These all appear to be carefully coordinated plans to take this president down. The key actors potentially landing jobs at universities, in the media, or some think tank.
  7. Serious question: Do you find it at all possible that there are thousands of career bureaucrats that find Trump unacceptable for the primary reason that he threatens their position of wealth and power and as a result they would do anything they can to defend the status quo? or no...orange man bad?
  8. Ha. I know. After Tibs wrote Acosta nearly 500 times in this thread I thought it would be funny. That’s why I’m not a comedian.
  9. according to reporting from John Solomon, Zelensky reopened the investigation into Burisma months before Trump and Zelensky even spoke.
  10. I thought we were going to see the 1099 Trump received from Russia for KGB operative income?
  11. I’m way more concerned with Nick Chubb!
  12. It’s definitely more than possible. It’s the likely scenario according to Vegas oddsmakers, albeit slightly more than 50%. This game will be a good test, no matter what the records say. At this point, I’m not sure what to think. I expect a close game either way.
  13. Someone just needs to take Brady out. I mean, take him the !@#$ out, what’s so complicated about that?
  14. Ummmm....Pittsburgh is not good. I don’t think they are making the playoffs. Best guess at this point. AFCE: Pats AFCN: Ravens AFCS: Texans/Colts AFCW: Chiefs WC: Between: Bills, Texans/Colts, Browns But I guess anything can happen!
  15. There is almost no chance the Democrats are successful in their attempt to overthrow this administration via impeachment. Next to zero. After reading Peggy Noonan’s OpEd in the Journal (or as Michael Scott calls it, The Wall), it’s painfully obvious how out of touch and broke the media is. They still act as if the people don’t have access to information outside of them. It’s truly amazing actually. Do they really expect the American people to read a transcript, see that there is nothing in there, and change their minds because democrats, the legacy media, and partisan leaks tell them they don’t know what they read? I can’t wait until this blows up in all of their faces and Trump wins in a Regan landslide in 2020.
  16. You still believe the polling I see. Good luck with that.
  17. so you’re saying it’s the clapping? Clapping coach correlates to soft lines?
