  1. It's the grammar man. "What you was thinking..." wtf talks like that having more than 2 braincells functioning? And most in the media at a decent level hold masters in communications. Honestly, it's why so many athletes players go for com degrees
  2. No they're not. They're riding on laurels of yesterday. Same with the ravens.
  3. Josh in post game interview answered the question of his thoughts of how things are going... "Yeah, Kyle Allen is the least efficient runner on the team, but we will talk him up, it'll be ok." Also, how ridiculous is it that some journalists can't speak functional English to ask questions. Such as "how you was thinking that you and Dorsey had something going today?" Seriously whatever outlet pays that dude should fire him.
  4. Fair but everyone has respect for schobel
  5. Mike McDaniels a genius. Took a team with 10 wins and won 9.
  6. Didn't want to over react to that win. Went to Miami to see what they're saying on how they played. https://finheaven.com/threads/zims-grades-for-the-game-week-4-edition.380260/ This was a good write up
  7. He's our new Kelsay
  8. Frazier was the issue.
  9. Pleas give me updates on Benford and Taron Johnson. Missed parts toward end.
  10. What about Johnson and Benford?
  11. Totally need to trade him right? Hahah suckers
  12. I think we should trade Elam. We can prob get at least a 5th since he is wasted on inactive. We are fine at cb
  13. Kinda thought it was a1st
  14. TOP after Miami 2nd td Buffalo 9:38 Miami 7:34 Plays: Buf 19 Mia 14
  15. They took a 747 here. Wow.
  16. This isn't Madden. Our defense is very complex and nuanced at safety. Luckily Poyer and Hyde are cerebral with it.
  17. Someone find the stat of W-L with Poyer playing We lose like any game he's not playing.
  18. again, the lens you need. his numbers in Miami last year - hell, all fo the offensive numbers - were tremendous. hopefully coach realizes the only number that we need ot get is the score. we go into this playing our offense which in 2023 is not blow up the scoreboard. we play our way to simply win by an entire strategy which puts all three in simpatico
  19. If he was 4 yrs younger then we put him as a 3rd safety to push the box and tackle the runner downhill, clear the short, and follow the ball. He's getting washed, clearly. But still glad we have him.
  20. Wrong lens Id be surprised if the Dolphins allow the Bills to get enough TOP to score a lot of times. Id equally be surprised if the Bills try to put up big plays and expose their defense to longer drives, TOP, and not play some sort of ball control with Cook, Murray, and Harris taking time off the clock. ------ Poyer out
  21. a true zone coverage does not have to shift much unless there are 3 WR's or unbalanced line. if i am buffalo i wait to line up the box when miami gets to the line.
  22. i'd be surprised if either team lets the other score more than 30 points.
  23. 3(1)-2(1)-4 - the 1 is the disguise. 1) an off LOS spy to delay the rush/blitz or spy the qb's read. in this case we use milano as we have done before. but the wrinkle we have seen a few glimpses of AJ and Floyd dropping into coverage. this means we can disguise what the rush, only rushing 3. use AJ or Floyd to drop into coverage. this could mean a corner or nickel blitz. this means we have 3 DL but one is effectively dropping back to coverage as a second layer defender/LB. Rosseau- Oliver - Floyd / Lawson - Jones/Philips - AJ 2) Milano is the off the LOS spy who can swap with the drop back coverage DL to still present a 4 man rush. Bernard needs to be an ATC monitoring the literal air traffic control of the pass game Miami will unleash. Rapp can enter the box and be an additional linebacker in a zone coverage scheme for cover 3. Good article here I skimmed which may help folks: https://www.viqtorysports.com/the-basics-of-the-3-high-safety-defense/ This keeps hits off of Poyer and Hyde and lets them ball hawk to their natural traits. 3) Hyde and Poyer are obvious. But, Taron Johnson playing his nickel can focus on his role/zone. Rapp there to move up and press the flat pre-snap keeps Tua's eyes adjusting the entire pre-snap. In todays NFL the play is nearly won or lost pre-snap with the correct reads and appropriate adjustments. tua is very smart - he can read almost any scheme and matchup. he has great pedigree and talent to become a top tier quarterback if he doesn't get knocked out of the game. according to Alvin Mack, this was the Punic War.
  24. My concern with Bernard is that he will have too much to read, too much going on, and have the kitchen sink thrown at him with scheming and movements to cause his head to spin.
