  1. His haircut is a bigger injury than his ankle. Golden girl looking hair cutted mother *****.
  2. They need to be careful hitting Lawrence like this. It's getting awful late to be hitting him pretty hard like this
  3. KC is being far too aggressive with a close score. Lawrence isn't a backup QB or bad QB. They changed too much too fast on defense. They want him to go deep and under estimate the talent the jags have. They have more offensive talent than KC. I've been saying that. KC is too close to the LOS and not playing deep enough right now. The problem is they can't. They dont have good DBs, specifically safeties. The Jags are gonna start finding these seams and Lawrence is learning as the game continues. It's snowing. KC is in trouble.
  4. I wanna see Lawrence announce himself to the league on some of these 3rd downs.
  5. Yet. We will see a fix coming.
  6. My daughter is watching the game. And after the last few good Mahomes plays she squeels. And just cried on his missed pass. She is not going to be a Mahomes fan. I'll be damned.
  7. I don't know I'd bring him out unless break of glass emergency.
  8. There are a lot of basic principles people don't grasp with football. Frazier is basic and people don't grasp that. They like fancy things. Then again, 20-25 years ago people loved the whole Tampa2 defense and everyone said it was a fad. In a passing league it was bound to take over. It is what we run. Cover 0 means no deep safety to keep a lid on it. You can beat it deep. Cover 1 is 1 deep safety and no one should get behind him Cover 2 is no one behind either side of the defensive safeties or you can run it with corners each taking ½ Cover 3 splits it 3 ways. You can run it with each CB taking ⅓ and a safety in the middle. Or 1 CB taking ⅓ and the safeties splitting the other two. Or a nickel. Typically nickels are not skilled enough to do this. The Jets used to have Revis Island run ½ or ⅓ of this and he... I literally had to stop to laugh at Lil Jon being the halftime show in the bread basket of America.... Anyway, Revis was good. Cover 4 splits this. Almost always as CBs, and safeties each taking ¼. This is vulnerable in the middle and the flats (outside the hashes). You can also run a seam well like Kelce. Who splits the coverage of zones well and is big enough to bounce off the late to arrive backs - which is better in defeating cover 2 or 3. But it is relevant in cover 4 because prevent defense which we ran last year and lost allowed the open spots in the middle which Hill and Kelce used to beat us. Also some QBs can sufficiently move the ball outside the hash well enough to defeat cover 4 (Fitz)
  9. Woah. Just got to turn on the game. Baby duty. Mahomes is hurt?!?!
  10. Sure. [ ] Brackets [ X O X ] Got it? 😁 Bracketed coveraged is having two men on a guy, essentially. Many think it is a man on man coverage scheme, it does not have to be exclusively a man coverage scheme. It can be zone coverage. It can also be run in cover 0, 1, 2, and 3. It is much harder to run in cover 4. By using an underneath coverage defender with an over the top cover man you eliminate the opportunities in coverage breakdown. The bracket coverage in man cover is simple. 2 men cover 1 man. This is not advantageous in many cases because you have tie up 2 defenders to 1. Famously, a team once did a bracket coverage to Calvin Johnson. The defense put two defenders on the line, and one deep. They jammed him at the line. Looking above at the illustration you can see the bracket over the O. It's basic in principle but can be quite complex. A lot of people make fun names because they think everything needs a name. My favorite in banjo coverage on a bracket scheme. In zone defense you can run it as well by simply having zone integrity. Edmunds or Milano stays underneath. Generally there is a strong side and weakside linebacker; in our case Edmunds takes coverage frequently and off the top of my head I don't think there is a definitive leader of dropping back here. I'm curious to see who drops more into coverage (anyone have that??? @Beck Water @YoloinOhio). to bracket Kelce means a safety over the top means Milano, who generally covers him, has more freedom to be aggressive. The bold and aggressive tend to win matchups more than the timid. And there is a safety blanket when you have over the top coverage. I can explain more if ya want.
  11. There isn't a CB that can play man against him. There isn't a safety that can cover him 1 on 1. The best coverage on him is bracket. IF we win and IF KC wins and IF Hyde is back next week a bracket coverage of Hyde over top and Milano underneath is the way to go.
  12. That's what stinks about our season. The last many years we get a lull in the middle of the season where it's not fun to watch. But this team in the playoffs - even fans of other teams tell me constantly "they're fun to watch." And everyone except the chiefs, Bengals and the rest of the AFC east would agree. @Beerballis a 147 years old. This is common knowledge. Everyone should know this.
  13. Greg Roman. Run game coordinater. 1 yr. Mega contract. Dorsey leaves, buddy.... Maybe we give it you
  14. But but bur stats tell us we are better than with dabol! We are number 1 in every catagory and other excuses. I get it. to the untrained eye it may look rough and yet you say "ok, we still are good." But it's like ... Thinking of metaphors. ... Watching a 6 yr old win a chess match against another kid. There ain't much thought process to conceptualize a strategy. There is only singular moves which don't seem to make sense. We have 3 or 4 good run plays setting up a strategy to drop a play action 1st down for a long pass... But instead run a naked boot pass screen to the full back. We throw 3 long balls to get to the end zone and run Josh on 2 QB sneaks in a row then on 3rd and 8 we run a low % pass play to the corner of the end zone. There is no coordinator with this offense. And I get that Dorsey is a coordinator. I'm not saying he is bad but like has been pointed out. He's erratic. And it's infuriating. .... On another note. Remembering Roman as an OC. The dude had a system, a coordinated scheme, a method to run his offense. He drove people nuts because of his run first leanings but I give him credit because he was limited with his player talent. .... Dorsey will be a very good OC in time. I don't know about HC.
  15. Never had a problem with SH I could not get resolved. An issue in preseason and using SH I was told to go to ticket counter and had real tickets from them in minutes. I buy almost all of the away tickets though SH and many concerts etc. I'm quite good at it and knowing when to buy. The tickets for this game will be sub $200 by kickoff if you hang on and don't mind waiting.
  16. mckenzie could mismatch him, but only by speed. otherwise, knox can beat him with size quite well
  17. i mentioned this in another thread. if i am the bills i look to hire someone short term for the playoffs. "hey roman, we will give you $200k/game to help coordinate and consult with us." "hey leftwich, same thing." roman just played a hell of a game agains the bengals. i can't understand why teams are not cutting the edge on this type of thing.
  18. Leftwich to Baltimore. Roman to Chicago Flores to Arizona Hacket to NYJ
  19. I'm back and forth in my head on what type of official we want. The one who lets the teams play will likely favor the Bengals. Their DB's are not as good as ours and will likely have to be more physical while our offense is not as physical as they are. However, our defense gets quite physical and does well and they're allowed to play as such. I think we're good to let them play similar to Miami last week.

    Best Ever?

    Garth Brooks
  21. ... But it will never Happen. Football isn't forward thinking like that. Also if Dorsey left he'd be ready to jump in already evaluated
  22. Ugh. I wish I didn't have to play nice. I've been at the toed line and can't cross it because the boss ain't happy with me as it is... But boy I'd love to really juice him up.
