go look at sacks allowed by QB. compare that Burrow is 6th with 41 sacks to them having among the lowest time in the pocket, least scrambles, and least pressures... their OL is a sieve. burrow puts the ball out in 2.2 seconds. yet is average in scrambles and 2nd lowest blitzed qb. 2022 NFL Advanced Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com

in a vacuum you can look at a lot of things. at least 5 INT's off of the top of my mind were not really on Allen or real. 2 bounced out of the WR's hands. 1 the WR just gave up on it - i think that was against Minnesota. and then the last week one where a new WR - Brown ran wrong. in a vacuum you can argue anything. stats are stats. and cinci hasn't played a ball hawking defense. our d is more like pburgh than the rest of cinci's opps.

if they're as diehard as people say they'd be doing it already. price of tix from BUF to ATL are going up, demand is going up per web price kc to atl are flat without increased demand.

As a neutral observer. Should two men in their 40s be shirtless and painted chested at a sports event?

And the ! Edit and add PTR is going; eball is going with wife, I lost track of a few others. I have not seen if @augie is going. We will be sure to connect down there. I gotta add to the total number of fellow degen bills fans I've met.

People logged in and in queue don't have the pass code to purchase. So many of them just window shopped our of curiosity.

Cincinnati Bengals Tickets | NFL 2023 Tickets & Schedule | StubHub AFCC in Cinci $275 for good lower bowl. $200 for corners it looked like

i put shaq out there all day. i put basham in the middle on 3rd and longs to rush the middle. he has some get up and go. otherwise, settle is in the middle with jones and oliver all rotating. in all honesty, i am making that line shake up. oliver outside with lawson splitting time is an approach i like because of olivers ability to use speed and power over an OT. this is because i don't want to straight up attack burrows. he is a lawn chair. a little bit of wind, a little bit of pressure - he folds. he doesn't need much. but can we get that fast enough to make a difference? i don't know that we can. we don't win the matchups that quickly. this is again why i like a corner blitz from our nickel against a new young OT who will be outmatched. yes you can. the bengals were not sure to score. that ball was slinging all over the field with a ball hawking bills defense which lets anything be possible.

he tempered a lot of his energy, at least recently. at first he was clowning on us. as he should have since NE owned us. i do not at all disagree but i realize almost anyone of us would be in the same shoes on another board. that is, if they'd even have us i probably have 4 or 5 other memberships i never post on. chiefs, panthers, jets, fins, bengals. the only one that doesnt' let me post and won't verify me is the bengals. probably for good measure. their baord was full of nonsense about the hamlin injury being our fault.

no he is not. not by a wide margin. he's not bad, really. and for being a fan of another team he's reasonable. he and patsfannh are both the glaring examples of fans of the other team. just as we would be. they'll defend the illogical, they'll cheer the smallest victory. they'll cry afoul at the littlest detail. we would do the same. where many people get annoying and think poorly of them is they have a different viewpoint - that's how sports work. the game is subjective. there are only 5 to 6 players that are truly the best in the game - the rest of the entire game is debatable. no one can contest jefferson is the best wr in a long time, donald is one of the best defenders ever, henry has been the best back of the last 5 years, and tom brady is a ridicuslously evil person who tortures small children feed his soul and keep his youth. i could give you a laundry list of worst posters on this forum.

you don't know ball better than me... i am this arrogant because i know i know football. & i am just disrespectful toward cinci trash. if you want to have a game of this i have some time. so i ask, where am i wrong? ask me after the game. i'll be sweet, and kind and tell you joe burrow saves children from orphanages and donates his paycheck to save humpback whales. seriosuly... lets go a few rounds and debate where i am wrong. i could use some practice. edit... your 10x double down on the dirty play of the bengals is bizzare and why i don't think you can be non bias. between the TE cheapshot and the henrickson roll... the bengals are like they were 15 years ago... dirty, gritty players.

Hs also tangled his feet on purpose. It's a move some savvy smart players do. It happens to Josh to tackle him and is called once in a blue moon. That was either tripping or clipping.

I'm not scared of Jordan burrows I don't believe we will need to shoot quick routes. I think we come out vanilla like always. I think we sprinkle in a few wrinkles to get a few big chance plays. Almost to the point of high risk, high reward. I wish I watched enough film on them to have a background on what has been done to them...but I think: 1) a corner blitz on a 3rd and long. Johnson on the edge when they line up in a close split end slot. Show cover 3 with zone middle covered by Johnson on the slot. Switch to cover 2, Marlowe bashing the mid field and anyone crossing while Johnson tears up the outside edge to get a sack on statue borrows. ...I'm not going to spell his name right. He doesn't deserve it. The cockswagger chump puffing on cigars is cute if you're making a tic toc... 2) I am not going to go all out attack the drop back. He passes too quickly. We have seen Frazier successfully stop these QBs, Brady and Jackson, for example. Both two different QBs. We tell our DL to form the pocket, no escape routes - and hands up. I think that little bastard is like 5'6". I know he's taller but he doesn't play taller. With just 4 DL we can shut down the passing lanes. 3) they're gonna pin and pull on the run. They are gonna be close together as a default for pass pro. They want to leverage the pin and pull for their medicare backs. The one dude who beats women isn't as good as he was a few years ago. The other dude I don't know his name but it's cool they have two JAGs at RB. The NFL run game can be successful with JAGS. They can win games. Edmunds ... Next point 4) I really wish people understood his role in this defense. How far he has come this season and toward last calling defenses and making sure guys are lined up right. This could be a big matchup for him. He hasn't been as handsy as before. Not like Mixon is with women, at least. Edmunds is going to be in the thick of things. Milano will be targeted by the offense to single out. Where they succeed in the WR department they lack in other skill positions and players which means they'll seek to eliminate 1 of our most potent weapons and ignore Edmunds. He could really have a game 4) boroughs knows he is good. That's cool. I wouldn't be surprised to see him run for a first. I wouldn't be surprised to see him laid out either. If the bills can touch him twice in the first 15 minutes of play I will be surprised. Their offense is going to be quick, aggressive down field and shaking things up. It's going to be a K-gun offense. their QB is going to get tired. So will the rest of their team. Who wears down first? More specifics... Taron Johnson is going to get targeted the most. It's the biggest matchup. They'll switch bodies there a lot. They will try big Higgins in there to see if he can beat him. Edmunds has to help. They also need to lay a lick on him. Id let the DEs hit him a few times early. It is going to be a long night for Johnson. Marlowe is going to play with his hair on fire I have a bunch.

what kind of answer are you looking for? i am not afraid of joe burrow. i am making a statement about what our defense is capable of and know a few things. if we flood short zones we cut off under routes but burrow can pass the ball outside the hashes quite well. with his depth at this position he can run decoys with one of the 3 - boyd, higgins, chase - inside. and easily just jump the TE to the oustside flat or even run a seam. if we do simply flood the under zones it leaves the top wide open. we aren't capable of running man coverage and we must stick with what we know. i would love to see hyde return, but he will not be able to... so. marlowe plays the short box in pair with edmunds. milano plays instinctive read/react to burrow to check his coverage or blitz. we play zone of cover 3 with poyer covering deep third. with johnson able to play nickel he is going to cover their slot in seemingly man coverage. short of that i can break down a cover 4 scheme, with a 3 man front, while not even playing nickel defense if you'd like...which is an alternative. how far in depth would you like?

Josh Allen was once the best passer against pressures/blitzing. There is hope that it'll make a difference this weekend and if I'm Cinci I control the line without a strong pass rush every play. I work timed blitzes and eat the Bills alive in delayed blitz pursuit and covering early. Miami, by effect, eliminated short routes because they had too many defenders up close and Josh had to move to protect himself before a short route was available. Miami was too aggressive. By a tiny bit. Dial it back 1 maybe 2. And mix coverages on early downs to drop a man to cover 3 and I think they beat Allen

Will your respect for Tom Brady change when he retires?

unless they're looking for him they're not really seeing him outside of a few times a year. allen isn't covered nationally like other qbs -

Uh. Miami barely sees Allen. And when they've seen him it's only been for 3 years. We haven't seen hoards of media felate Allen publicly on TV to the point that they end up on Maury Povich to find who is the baby mama. -

Agree with this. However, he was abrasive, unlikeable as a character, a poor sport, displayed poor characteristics on the field of proper decorum, and was just a brat.
