  1. i honestly do not know the state of rosters across the league. even not knowing, i would presume that no team has as many injuries like we do at this current state. i do know a team recently suffered a rash of injuries at one point - was that chicago? i know cinci has a bunch of injuries, the jets got it pretty bad, the giants maybe without daniel jones (maybe a good thing?). the dolphins were missing 3 starters against us and had 2 more go out against us. i don't disagree at all that injuries hurt. but our offense was not injured, and our defensive schemes and gameplan was *****.
  2. sound statement, babe now please... defend McDermott. add thoughts to the post instead of mumbling. every team has injuries. across the league. people who follow this team and post on the message board tend to be hyperbolic but we are not the only team to suffer injuries.
  3. all of this is compounded by our specifically schemed defense which is not an easy plug and play unit. it is niche and nuanced which needs specific type players.
  4. the bills did not have a chance in the game. they were beaten in every way possible. if the bills did pull off that win yesterday it was not the bills winning as much as it was the jags losing. the jags did anything they wanted to us on defense, stopped us on defense when we could not do anything, and even special teams was beaten.
  5. you forgot a bunch of time he SAYS people will be held accountable and nothing changes.
  6. OP makes a short but reasonable statement given the loss. majority of the responses are trite retorts that lack little substance because it's hard to debate people with opinion. every year this place becomes like twitter more and more.
  7. it was clear we wanted trent mcduffie. we lost that opportunity and we had no backup plan. that was horseshit. and i'm not even sure we should have got James Cook. sure, i like him on the roster now but that is a high end premium for a position that is losing value faster than any other positionn. sam laporta was worth not trading up for... the parity between he and the other two TE's was just fine. i'll take a big10 TE over most other conferences anyday in this offense. dorian williams - that was a head scratcher. when you're labeled not big enough at 6'1" 228 then you have to wonder why? he's not THAT small... but boy he plays tiny. wasted pick. in 2021 we chose basham over humphrey who has been rumored to be considering retirement? insanely stupid and we all knew it. draft humphrey - put him at guard until morse is done - probably this year or at least next. the love fest in the draft for duds like basham, elam, williams, and kincaid is LAUGHABLE.
  8. we would like to think they'd have made a difference but we do not know for sure. what we do know is that we got embarrassed yesterday.
  9. The effort given by our players was enough to run through a brick wall. I've measured a lot of our coaches by the highs and lows. We aren't an even keel team like more established teams are, even if they're younger. They're better coached teams than we are: 9ers, Chiefs, Eagles, Patriots, and Seahawks. Those teams have coaches and systems where they punch in and go to work. Sure, they have fun and play with passion but it's different with us and I'm just not the best to describe it. But my eyes know what I see and I don't see us contending for the Super Bowl.
  10. TBDAHOT24. Show up...
  11. I never said anything of the sort. I don't believe in our coaches. Anyone here can attest to this.
  12. No, he's historically one of the better posters here. Not always right, but he is consistent and worthy of respect to listen to.
  13. Williams was bench bro.. yeah, people are going to convince themselves he played well despite being yanked It was a dumb draft pick, something that we have a history of doing on middle round linebackers Hate to break it to you buddy, but even with those two this team wasn't making a deep playoff run
  14. Let's not. He got benched. He was disgusting. Think smaller less athletic Edmunds who misses tackles.
  15. If they do this long term then the game needs to be at 8:00 on a Sunday which is basically a 3:00 game for us. 8:00 p.m. there, no if ands or buts. F*** the uk. This country won its independence from those wankers.
  16. The refs have returned time outs called on injury plays. Maybe the debate is we called it before the player went down but I have never seen a team have to keep the timeout in use after an injury. The intentional batting of the ball out of bounds was also a penalty.
  17. Oops. Daboll. Hahaha
  18. I want Dorsey as a HC. Not an OC.
  19. I just want to see him succeed. I want to believe. And I know I'm wrong. But damn it I want to be right.
  20. I used my rubix cube, an abacus, and a broken rubber band to calculate other ball movement. The answer is 3.5
  21. I know the record reflects different and stats are against me but it's just the way I see things. I wish I had the intelligence to put words to it, but I am devout in this belief if that means anything
  22. 👍👍👍 Always preaching truth. He may need to be a field corner. And even then... I don't know. He just... isn't right. Last year he was fine. I am ready for some Ingram. And id trade elam for his own sake to resurrect his career. Benford would have been a great matchup for him. The instincts and almostly seeming luck he has to defend a pass. White would have shut him down.
  23. When was the offense a mess with daboll? 2020 was nifty. 2021 was our year and the window closed after 2021. We have a new window.
  24. The balls goes into the end zone and out the back... it looked like it would have. We will never know.
  25. Daboll HC, Dorsey as OC, and ? As DC. Id take that all day.
