  1. i never said those countries were better or not than us. you did. that is on you to explain why we are the best country and at their low level of standard. you also owe mexico an apology with your statement that it is not acceptable to be compared to them. your wants are admirable. i am glad you have values. your logic and approach to this is summed up saying someone is happy to walk into a bowling alley and shoot people up. you have found your belief of that individual prior to research or detection. your logic and values begin to fall apart when you castigate "we" society as being too stupid to handle them responsibly. you have dug yourself a deeper hole. you must now: 1) explain why this country is better or worse than other countries. a) specifically mexico and how you view that country. 2) explain why you think the individual was happy to have walked into the bowling alley in a rampage. 3) produce your measure for intelligence and the bar of "stupidity" which much be the threshold to own a gun. again, good luck.
  2. Again, ignorant American belief. We are not and have not been the most advanced country on the earth. I don't know who is number 1 or what criteria is used. Nor do I care. This country cannot be compared to any other country and vice versa. There are many reasons why this is so and they can be debated. There is no debate on countries like UAE, Germany, China, Canada, the UK, NZ, and Australia, just to name a few. They have much limited freedom and/or much steeper penalties of law. You're losing this argument wholy yet I know my statements do nothing to deter or challenge your thought processes. You've already firmly embedded yourself and gave your position on gun control away from the start. I challenge you to find any statement I have said in support or against it in any of my posts. This is because I am open to dialogue on the topic.
  3. what's wrong with mexico? it's a beautiful country and culturally rich. the country is full of hardworking and amazing people.
  4. el salvador venezula guatamala colombia honduras brazil peurto rico brazil virgin island mexico jamaica south africa and we have more than 1:1 ratio of guns in this country and barely crack the top 20%. the next closest country is in the mid 30%'s.
  5. This kind of violence happens all over the world, all of the time. You are a sheltered American to think that this is an American problem. Further, the second amendment is set in stone. For this to change there needs to be a constitutional convention. That will not happen, for better or for worse of your opinion.
  6. You are a few shades below dim, aren't you? let's break this down as if it was ManningCast. you open up with sarcasm which is a waste of time, particularly to me since so far i have thus engaged in reasonable conversation with you - something i do not have to do. so, please, don't waste time, mine or yours. you then make a triumphant statement that is overbroad about mentally ill, domestic abuse murderers. this statement could be saved if you proffered any thought, even if not original, to solve this issue. in your final statement you suggest there are legal solutions available but be sure to get that last little lick in to anyone who would dare challenge your superior arguments and intellect. you don't offer those possibilities or say much more besides creating an effect equal to a moan or grunt. your mouth may be open and making sounds but they're not reasonable to add to a conversation. so, i propose that you're pretty awful at this and offer you a chance to try again. please, do better. do much, much better. good luck.
  7. reality didn't set in for many fans that we are not a strong team.
  8. well, there is your problem, son. if your solutions are not legal than they are not solutions, are they, bucko?
  9. this proves my point. your viewpoint is firm and your thoughts are not able to be discussed. you would rather talk and speak than listen or work to find a solution. this is the reason why society is failing. you are a part of the problem we face in this world. incase the emphasis isn't strong enough. YOU are the biggest part of the problem with this country. YOU AND EVERYONE LIKE YOU. thankfully, there are very few of you. sadly, you're the most vocal.
  10. out of curiosity i came to PPP. i am not disappointed. well done to make it instantly political and turn off any possibility of amenable discussion. god PPP sucks since the exodus occurred and the mouth breathers took over. well done, all, well done. @EasternOHBillsFan this is part of why Dev left.
  11. I still have many Buffalo News signs from back in the day "PLUCK THE FALCONS" remains the best. It was on black signage. People changed the P to an F and blacked out the L.
  12. about halfway through this my music playlist of Mr Brightside started... made it interestinger
  13. they have 3 victories due to referee interference.
  14. i like the idea of having an optional watch. i'd considered it last year when someone put it in themselves but i don't want to overdo the premise of this. either way, a lot of solid opinions.
  15. that's a horrible way to deceive them of revenue. By using ideas or sites like RemovePaywall.com you take the money out of the struggling journalists and people who are supposed to shape our minds and influence our opinions! If we do not give them money to do this, how would we ever know what to think? Again, a site like https://www.removepaywall.com/ is terrible!
  16. Good morning everyone. For those that consistently chime in you know the drill. For those new to this than it is easy to misunderstand. Think of this like a penny stock situation or just simple stocks on the open market. There is no true value to any player, group, team, or position. We generally try to keep it Bills related, but you can pick the other team if you'd like to make a statement. If you feel strongly about anything in the league you can say something about it, too. But, generally, you simply choose a player you'd like to support this week by putting him as a "BUY." This could be someone who barely plays or plays all the time. Someone you think can contribute this week. When you "SELL" someone it does not mean they suck and should be released from the team. It could be something along the lines of a player coming in really hot and having potentially their best games and you believe they've reached their limit. Last week I sold on Taron Johnson, feeling he would have a touch matchup and his potential was already reached the previous few weeks - I wanted to sell high. When you "HOLD" a player you're choosing to simply keep that imaginary stock or belief in the player for some or any reason. You don't have to already have committed to buying him. You did not have to acknowledge him at all any week prior. It could simply be a statement that you believe in someone on the team or a unit that you do not think is at their potential but also not going to regress any. That being said...my picks: BUY: David Edwards. With only one listed TE on the roster and our OL regressing I think this dude is going to see more time to contribute to the offense filling in as a blocker. SELL: Turning the ball over for any reason. This includes Sam Martin. I just don't want to or need to see any more punting. This is not against him. This is against any time we turn the ball over right now. I just do not want it. Our Defense cannot afford it. HOLD: Reggie Gilliam. We may be down to just one TE but this guy is dynamic and offers a lot on the field. While Quentin Morris, my favorite Falcon, is out we may have his neighbor from the North fill in with some playing time. Let's see what this former Rocket gets the chance to show.
  17. When Beane likes a guy and wants him he will pursue him to the ends of the earth.
  18. @Kirby Jackson can chime in on how bad Dennison was with poor decision making tied with McD
  19. Wow. Didn't see this coming....not
  20. End of year or end of season?
  21. in all of this - i am not quoting everyone - remember how we were one of the most successful 3rd quarter offenses in history for a while? this was while we were coming out and scoring almost every opening drive and then some in the first half. we had a secure lead of 10 pts after the half each game. this meant that our defense could play a little more risky, our offense could make lower percentage plays with less consequences, and we could play more open and free. this is the open and free we see when we need to come from behind. the 3 wideouts or more, the gunslinging taking chances offense. the taking chances that once in a while fail so we pile all over josh. the reality is the defense is having systemic issues and our lack of prep shows frequently.
  22. this was not any time recently, i would presume....?
  23. if you're happy with us basically being the 80's and 90's Dolphins, than cool. McDermott is going to win a ton of games because he's lucky to have Josh Allen. What would be telling is if Dorsey leaves - does anyone want to step up and work under McDermott? I'd guess many would be willing but would we hear whispers like we did with Daboll? We heard that McDermott is not easy to work with. I would love to hear Dennison's comments - he's way out of the league and a quality control guy for Sanders in Colorado.
  24. i think Pegula should hire AI to coach our team. Prime has been doing wonders showcasing blitzes and predicting the plays. i think we can use that for our team to coach us.
  25. don't forget Chris Kelsey (oops) Shaq Lawson ** I like Shaq Lawson as a depth and role player. he can set an edge and has a place on a roster. i've always been a guy who likes niche players for roles on defense though no one embraces this. lawson has a place with playing time when we play certain teams (ravens, mobile qb's, etc) and in situational playing time but he's not a high rep starter.
