a role player for Klein with a role player for pass defense to mix and match on schemes/plans/games is all i want. i hate going with a stop gap at MLB but we didn't have a choice with Edmunds. I don't think he was worth the amount he got to stay on this team. i think he will continue to succeed and play another 10 years however.

We have to replace all we are going to lose with Basham and AJE in a couple years. Maybe Tops has some paper bags or we can go to the grocery store and buy some spaghetti.

i could see us going anything but that and picking up a stop gap MLB. i'd not be surprised to see Klein back and mixed in with Dodson and a vet who can play the pass coverage.

i don't blame watson for the deal. he did exactly what he should have - got as much as he possibly can. the browns did what they thought was fair and reasonable. the rest of the world realized it was stupid and now everyone is not just disappointed the business of the nfl is like this but that they are/were in denial that it is such a ruthless business.

and the percentage is made back fairly quickly by larger named athletes due to them finding sponsorship deals. even mid-level guys pay beyond 3% knowing they'll get sponsorship and promotional gigs found by their agents to offset the %%. this is why you hire someone who is a professional to do professional things. not your mom.

bingo. i'd give him a 1 yr prove it deal at $2-3mm with incentives or something but that's it. if he wants to get a big contract let him try next year after proving he's no jag

That culture isn't a winning culture despite their success. I think it's clear watching it to anyone who pays attention. It's a gimmick. They're gonna be the 20's Version of the 90s dolphins I hope so. Process guy who can play the position and just needs help in front of him and not a full workload gameplan.

At a low cost rate, as a 2TE red zone target or a simple short down and distance/RedZone down field dude who can possibly go up for a pass - I'll take it. We just suck at evaluating TEs. Dorsey wants two TEs. He's had them going back to Miami when he lost to the greatest team in the land.

bernard nor spectar are the answer. ... i am trying to forget him. i've never been as disappointed in someone as i was with him to just be able to get on the field. i hope we bring back klein for another season.

for the record it is shown - i never said i didn't want him, never said he wasn't valuable, never said anything other than he was likely to end up playing for another team. by the end of the day yesterday - it was clear - there wasn't a market for him. glad he's back. now he needs to shut his wife up. also, fwiw, his mother loves the bills. i sat next to her in tennessee years ago. she's really sweet.

he'd be a good pairing to CMC in San Fran
