So as I understand it the governor was essentially forcing the hand of the NFL and team. It wasn't so much as the three of them working together as her decision and then just making the NFL agree. It caught people off guard with the bills. That is why a statement wasn't initially available because they were still trying to work through it when she just went rogue. She had enough.

No but I was let people decide what they want to do. Everyone entrenched to say no way we should have the game, the weather is so bad, etc etc... none of them were going to the game. How can someone have such an entrenched opinion on something they were not going to participate in or be a part of joining?

Exactly. It's bizarre that the weather seems to be worsening on a few sites while others just update a few things here or there. I've never seen accurate weather models shift so much in so short of hours. Granted I don't keep an eye on buffalo weather but for about half the year I check weather 3-4 times a day in NC. The officials making the decisions - well, I think if this was any other weekend it'd be no story at all. People would just go on living.

Other than that, cite your sources. And plenty of us can make decisions and rationalize our risks.
