Von Miller proves the doubters wrong
boyst replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Which is 100% true. Id love to be the first to call Gunner wrong but our DL is twitchy and encompassing. Mix in a double corner blitz and the pass protection is even more difficult. We are coming around the corner every time Miller gets all the credit for his straight up bullrush against the backup RT from Miami tho. -
He definitely will but he will choke on the red zone. If we get to 14 early enough, and with their ***** pass D l expect it, then I believe they'll be pressed to force the ball down field and let Jackson scramble. Fine to unleash him against less disciplined defenses and against backup LB's (which we have) but our team ain't like others right now. Bills -9.5.

This team’s mentality is similar to the 90’s teams

Do we need Johnson more for Houston or Baltimore? Id vote Houston and know he can shut down Diggs or their slot. The coaches probably know exactly who to put on Diggs. Johnson in spot time against Baltimore and fully back against Houston is my vote. -
It was a vote for the song, as well. I've seen it up at several games asking for a vote. Brightside always wins.

So, youre saying 7 inches is big?

I'm still processing and maybe need more games as a sample size because I have watched all of our games and few of others to a processing level versus enjoyment (especially watching Dallas, Cincinnati, and Miami lose). The league will have to go back to the passing supreme league. But right now it's the crossroads flashing of the wildcat. Jumbo sets are across the league - on passing plays no less. We saw several of them with only two down field WR's and a RB in the flat while having 1 extra OL and a TE on the field. Kansas City wasn't pushing real guys down the field past the 7 until this week when Rice started to get open a little deeper. This two high safety look is pulling WRs back underneath as an option. The league saw this with Cooper Kupp destroying everyone with the Rams run and Beasley doing it with everyone outside and around taking the ransom of wealth. As I write this out still processing I am wondering why the bigger, explosive backs are not getting the play actions on these. Maybe all there really is anymore Derrick Henry, though Aaron Jones can do it and others should be able to as well. Perine in KC is out and when he comes back it will be an infusion of new opportunities. Part of me also wonders if it isn't something to do with today's QBs. They're not the boys of the 90s with the jacked muscles and the pocket poise. Theyre JJ McCarthy who came from a horrible college that cheats. They're Burrough in Cincinnati who is made of glass and not thiccc. Their arms may not be able to handle 10-12 big shots down field. Alas, maybe they don't have to with WRs being at the peak of athleticism and such wild YAC. Regardless I am still thinking on it and the University of Michigan is a disgusting school who has produced losers who cheat on their pregnant girlfriends and neglect their families.

They have been playing it frequently between the 3rd and 4th.

Is this the best coaching we have seen in the JA era?

If I was the owner I'd pay enough and work it to the guys being fine for money. -
it's down to 1.5. some say it's only 1 pt now.

sometimes i wonder why these guys do not decide to really hone their skills as a coordinator. if this guy can be a coordinator for Buffalo 6-8 years total and really, really learn the league, perfect his craft, learn from others etc.... he could be one of the greatest head coaches if they ever chose. -
How are we feeling about the next 3 weeks?

i don't fear the Ravens as much as some. with williams being an efficient tackler and Spector being a fairly large dude combined with the difference between the rest of the our corps i think it is in our favor to let them take the brunt of this work against these guys to avoid the wear and tear vs. bernard and milano. it's almost ideal (assuming we win) that these guys get the tread. with all of that being said we will see that henry has not truly lost a step. he is in as good of shape as ever and it shows in the later quarters when most others are tired. so if he builds up steam and the ball game is close they can consistently just use him to knock us around a little bit and set up play action. regardless, though, they can't keep up with us on offense because their defense is so glaringly weak. if we get to 27+ points there is no way they win. they allow ridiculous amounts of passing and Shakir may have a career night against them. i don't think Cook will be as big of a factor. -
we need to start rumors that Poyer flew back to Buffalo wit hthe Bills and DAvis stayed in Buffalo last night.

I think we will be riding high and roll Baltimore. Josh laser focused on beating MVP Jackson. I'm glad we go to Houston after Baltimore. Baltimore plays hard physical football but their defense is weak. I think we will do enough to beat the Jets. But that'll be a tough one. -

Kill them all, let God sort them out. If they step on the field against us, knock their deek in the dirt until they don't want to get back up. Bring on anyone.- 108 replies

He played fairly well. Got his chance to be a Bill. I'm sure he is on cloud 9 today. Definitely right on the tentative. By the end the game was still moving fast to just get out of there.

Transfer to Jesus is my choice.
