Double shot of The Jesus and Mary Chain

I like Edwards too. Im guessing he gets traded. I like your idea of trading Torrence. We have too many talented OL, and thats a good problem. We have Alec Anderson too. Not to mention Van Pran, Gourage, and Clayton. Whomever we cut will get quickly picked up. So im guessing Bills trade OL between now and end of draft. Marino likes Edwards too, but stressed that $5 million in savings is a lot

My guess is that Grable is too talented to keep off the field. Bills have a strong, deep Oline. Van Der Mark is a great swing tackle, and he was inactive when Grable was healthy. Im guessing Grable goes to LG, and Bills OL is massive. Edwards gets traded for draft pick, or is surprise cut- we save $5million.

Boddrington returned kicks. Solomon got snaps in too

Washington had an excellent draft that provided immediate results. If Beane lays another egg this draft, I doubt he’s here in 3 years Rank 30 Buffalo Bills Class grade: D+ Round 2 (No. 33) Keon Coleman, WR | 13 games/12 starts (60) Cole Bishop, S | 16 games/4 starts Round 3 (95) DeWayne Carter, DT | 11 games/3 starts Round 4 (128) Ray Davis, RB | 17 games/0 starts Round 5 (141) Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, IOL | 16 games/1 start (160) Edefuan Ulofoshio, LB | 4 games/1 start (168) Javon Solomon, DE | 14 games/0 starts Round 6 (204) Tylan Grable, OT | 4 games/1 start (219) Daequan Hardy, CB | 0 games/starts Round 7 (221) Travis Clayton, OT | 0 games/starts Notable free agent signees Joe Andreessen, LB | 13 games/1 start Notable trade additions Brandon Codrington, CB/RET | 17 games/0 starts (acquired from NYJ) The biggest pre-draft question about Keon Coleman was whether he could separate at the NFL level, with his 4.61 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine only furthering concerns. His supporters countered that separation knock by touting his contested-catch ability, but he struggled in both areas as a rookie. His inability to separate was clear to the naked eye but also underscored by a number of Next Gen Stats metrics. Meanwhile, Pro Football Focus charted that Coleman received 19 contested targets and caught just seven, giving him a subpar conversion rate of 36.8 percent. Frankly, following a November wrist injury that sidelined him for a month, Coleman struggled to find a connection with Josh Allen on anysort of pass, catching just 10 of his 29 targets over the final seven games (playoffs included). The rest of the class was pretty unremarkable, though Ray Davis provided some juice in the backfield and Cole Bishop played decent in spot duty at safety, racking up a team-high 10 tackles in the AFC Championship Game.

Round 2 • Pick 1 (33) • WR Keon Coleman Round 2 • Pick 28 (60) • SAF Cole Bishop Round 3 • Pick 32 (95) • DT DeWayne Carter Round 4 • Pick 28 (128) • RB Ray Davis Round 5 • Pick 6 (141) • C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger Round 5 • Pick 25 (160) • LB Edefuan Ulofoshio Round 5 • Pick 33 (168) • EDGE Javon Solomon Round 6 • Pick 28 (204) • OT Tylan Grable Round 6 • Pick 43 (219) • CB Daequan Hardy Round 7 • Pick 1 (221) • OT Travis Clayton how do you feel about this draft now? 2-Keon- I hated the pick at the time. Keon played decent pre-Poyer hit. But was almost useless after. Keon was first player selected Day 2. So Beane has all night to contemplate that pick and turn down draft picks. 2-Cole - an ok selection. Hopefully he can make big progress this season. 3- DeWayne big fat F. 2% pass rush win rate is horrendous. Horrible pick Beane. 4-Ray Davis- finally a solid draft selection. Ray will be a productive Bill for years. 5- Ed- hardly saw the field- TBD 5–Solomon looks like a good situational pass rusher. Beanes second decent pick. 6-Tylan - best pick of the draft. Tylan sounds like a great find! 6-Hardy- undersized, good practice squad depth, return ability. 7- Clayton- potential. so one lukewarm hit in the first 3 rounds. Keon was awful in playoffs, and Cole has potential. Ray, Solomon, and Tylan look like Bills going forward. All those draft picks, and your 6th round draft pick looks to be best pick. Way too many whiffs, again. I rate this draft a D-

I always thought Kate Pierson was beautiful. B52s rock!

Siva was the Smashing Pumpkins first single. 1967-1973 and 1988-1993 are the two greatest musical periods ever recorded, imo. I loved Gish! I could not wait for Siamese Dream, and I had huge expectations. Siamese Dream fulfilled those expectations. Gish is still my favorite. But Siamese Dream rocks too Howie Mandel is an #######. He set up Bill Burr. Howie invited both Bill and Billy Corgan, and pretended he was Maury Povich. Corgan believes Bill and him are brothers. Him and Howie blindsided Bill, and Bill was understandably pisses off.

Are retail and restaurant workers getting ruder?

I was always taught to expect my elders, and I still do. Im 55, treat people good, and keep myself in decent shape. Because many kids do not treat me with respect. I’ve had incidents with younger adults being disrespectful to me or company. What the hell happened to treating elders with respect? -
Jerry liked this cover Genius was in the water in Laurel Canyon in late 60s

This is now on Beane, no question he needs to step up.

If Bills GMs read this board, we wouldnt of drafted Keon. We would of drafted Ngata. We would of drafted DK Metcalf. Etc. -
thats your takeaway from my lucid, pragmatic post? I never once disputed 16th greatest offense.
-
That’s Josh Allen, our OL, and the RB room. One can always be better, and you should always try and improve. Imagine our offense if we had a WR that could take the top off. James Cooks carries 22% of the time we’re in a stacked box. A competent X WR opens up the middle for Knox and Dalton, and gives Cook more space to operate. This simple addition would make the offense much, much better. How can you argue against that? It’s not about the most points in the season, it’s about the who has the most points each game.
-
They say we passed on Ladd because he’s a slot WR. But Ladd has shake and bake, and can separate. We pass on Ladd, and draft Keon, who can’t play X, and can’t separate. This is madness

Meanwhile Bills have scored the most points in the NFL over the last 5 years. This years offense was the 16th best in NFL history and set numerous records as a team and as individuals. Our defense is the sole reason we haven’t been to the SB and it’s indisputable. Beane has been the GM since 2018 so yes, 3-7 years is on his him. Coleman was a 2nd round pick. The only attempt Beane has had to get Josh a top 2 WR was for Diggs, and WR has woefully been neglected besides that. The WR cupboard is empty, has been for years, and that’s on Beane. 2023 there was a run on WR, and Beane panicked and traded up for Kincaid. We already had Knox, and rarely run 12 personal, still need an X WR. 2024 we are desperate for WR. Beane trades back to top of 2nd round, which I’m ok with. We pounded the table for an X WR. That was the first pick, 2nd round. Every team reset their boards, and that is a coveted draft spot. I’m certain that Beane turned down trade offers, and instead drafted plodding Keon. We are still desperate for an X WR. Cooper was a panic trade, and Beane admitting he has failed the WR room. Baltimore pummeled us, loading the box, and daring us to beat them deep. Texans followed that blueprint, stifled our O, and beat us. Jets followed that blueprint, and almost beat us. It was more obvious than ever that our WR group is inadequate. Beane panicked and traded a 3rd for an aging X WR. The past two playoff exits are due to our offense. Yes our D is Swiss cheese, but the past two playoffs the D put the offense in a position to win. Mahomes only needed 13 seconds. We have Josh Allen, 3:30 left, 3 TO, and only need a FG, and the offense failed. The D put the O in a position to win, and the offense failed again. Just like they did last playoffs. I want every draft pick and FA $ spent to fix the D. All I ask is for a skilled vertical X WR. If you watch Bills football, you notice that there is zero separation and vertical component. Josh is amazing. Give him some help Dalton, Keon, AJ, Cooper, Roseau, etc- where were they in Chiefs game? Yes we were highest scoring team. Yes, Beane is missing in the first two rounds much too often.

Ngata and Ted Washington come right to mind

Yes, I understand roster numbers. And games are won in the trenches,. Like I said, Carter and Ed are back. The Bills rotate DL. Last year they kept 4 DT, and 4 DE. Carter and Ed= 2. Add 2 DTs in the first 2 rounds, the deepest position in the draft. 2+2=4. 2 veterans, and 2 rookies. We keep multiple DL on practice squad. 2+2=4 what don't you understand?
-
Do you understand BPA? I draft the drafts strength. If we can get two DL starters in the first two rounds- do it! Steve Tasker and Chris Brown were saying today that the Bills should consider drafting two DL in the first two rounds. Steve even suggested drafting DT in the first, and then using both second round picks, and drafting the highest remaining DT. Games are won at the line of scrimmage. as far as returning DL, Oliver and Carter are in. If we can improve DaQuan and Phillips- do it!
