  1. haha not even close. and i don't think he's very good either.
  2. Absolutely. Sam Cowart was better than any linebacker we've had since that piece of garbage frnk middleton ruined his career with that cheap shot. it was a ruptured achilles but the 99 defense was way better. They were a little rough on 3rd and long sometimes, but they sure as hell would not have let Brady march up and down the field like he does against this group.
  3. I'll be shocked if the a boatload of them don't show up in the Bills store in time for the Chiefs game.
  4. "PASS?! WHY WOULD WE PASS?? THAT'S JUST WHAT THEY'RE EXPECTING US TO DO!"
  5. can't believe they ran up the middle on 2nd down.
  6. WHY THE !@#$ DO WE HAVE TO RUN UP THE MIDDLE ON 2ND DOWN EVERY EFFING TIME!?! YES AM SHOUTING.
  7. voted yes, because it can't be worse than we have now, and if Tim Graham gets his troll on at press conferences it could be funny.
  8. from callers? id say the hosts have been quite complementary and acknowledged what he is: no stud, but the best qb on the roster.
  9. i laughed when he walked up the line and yelled "BANANA!!"
  10. i'll get ripped for this, but i cannot fathom how this team beats the jets on the road. would someone tell me again why we couldn't pay Chad Rinehart. I got laughed at 2 years ago when i said we should have paid him. but he's starting LG for the chargers and way better than anyone we have now.
  11. The sight of him with Doug Jr broke my heart. To have your child totally drift away into autism at 2 1/2 is horribly cruel. I know cause it happened to my son too. But watching those last minutes with those two together on the beach puts the banality of this whole argument into focus.
  12. agree...and you know they're going to kick our asses when we go in there, right?
  13. i had really good seats for that game and at the time, it didn't look like pre-season intensity to me....but in retrospect it probably was. anyway, RJ totally lit them up, but once they got down, the colts just quit. my girlfriend and i were wandering around the lower concourse after the game and ran into John Butler and a couple of other higher ups. I made him stop and take a picture and he was just happy as a clam. he put hs arm around her and made some crack about her being to good looking for me (not unreasonable) which was hilarious to me, because wait...an NFL gm is hitting on my girlfriend? wtf?! i forgave him and walked out of there completely stoked we finally had a QB. i still have the picture and it's a little sad to look at now that he's gone. I was on the RJ side in the shiitstorm that followed, but everyone needs to just hug and admit they were both pretty bad. God bless em both, but RJ had no pocket awareness AT ALL and once the league figured out Flutie it was over for him. and still, we had them beat.
  14. he ha some thns that have been in short supply over the years, like pocket awareness, vision and freaking ATTITUDE....but man did the other teams catch up with him...
  15. and i never disputed that! but no way in hell was he better than either one of those guys! Sorry!
  16. yes, it is still amateur hour over at OBD. add to that the coach and GM, who are clearly at odds with each other, were both picked by the same guy....who is "not involved in football decisions."
  17. that's right! ...it s coming back to me now. i remember Lou Saban on the sidelines going absolutely ballistic at the refereeing. My dad didn't like it much either! I had nevver SEEN the Bills beat Miami and I remember thinking it was going to happen....but alas...
  18. Jack Kemp? Joe Ferguson? i am guessing you are in your 20s or younger? i see your knowledge of this is limited too. they held TN offense to 13 points and had the lead with 10 secs left. that team was all defense.
  19. thanks for the link....never saw this before. regarding Gary Marangi.... I have this foggy childhood memory of him playing his first game as a Bill in relief of Joe Ferguson in Miami. Fergy got hurt and Marangi came in for him. I recall Marangi dropping back and hitting somebody deep downfield for a TD on his very first NFL play. Is any of that correct or has time confused me? this would be about 40 years ago, now.
  20. I nominate this thread for this week's "8th grade girls cafeteria table" award.
  21. oh right, like you never emailed porn.
