  1. I'd be very happy with WR, LB, OT. As I mentioned in a previous post, those 3 plus CB were my necessity selections. One down, 3 to go.
  2. He impressed the crap outta me. I remember seeing those highlights last year but I had kinda forgot. Hmm, adequate replacement.
  3. The guy is dynamite! We lost a good one but picked up someone who looks excellent.
  4. Just want to say that sometimes due to circumstances it may take a while for a receiver to take off. Consider the following stats from Mould's career, paying special attention to the first couple of years, then look at Sammy, taking into consideration his 3rd year injury. Sure, I know things were a bit different back then, but make the comparison. 5. Good post, my friend. I hope you crossed your heart and said a quick prayer after mentioning that we cannot afford to lose Tyrod.
  6. How soon people forget. Sammy was the 3rd most productive player in the entire league over the last 9 games in 2015. In the LEAGUE!! Give him his health he will again be one of the upper echelon WR's in the league.
  7. I know there are a lot of reasons to doubt the guy; well, actually one big reason - injuries. I am not going to say that he will not get hurt again this year, but just maybe he won't. And if he stays healthy, Goodwin absolutely cannot be covered 1 on 1. Cover him deep, he'll catch 10-12 yarders all day (see Watkins against Revis in game 16). Defend against those short ones and he will be open long; no doubt. The answer to sort of covering him is zone, and that's fine by me because it opens up all kinds of possibilities. Say what you want but Goodwin is dangerous!!
  8. Makes sense to me. I can just imagine Gilmore and Darby at the corner with Seymore at the Nickel. Sounds like shut down!
  9. Just wondering, did he play during the time that he was taking MJ for treatment? Seems like it would make a difference.
  10. Where do you get this crap from? Lost 2 Lawson's? Yeah, but 1 is for maybe 6 games, and the other just got beat out for a spot. That means somebody better will be playing. Dareus? Only 4 games! A. Williams He will be back, maybe even opening game. Sammy is fine and poised for a pro-bowl year. Kyle? By all reports he is recovered and ready for the season. Glass half empty, huh? No man, half full!
  11. Duh, I just checked my system and I see no games scheduled. Any advice?
  12. Greg Little cut; I sure as heck do not think so. Yeah, he has his drops but 6"2 1/2, 220 lbs of muscle, and 4.53 combine time make him a big and attractive target. Watch him run his routes. He seems to either out muscle or out run the defender, and more often than not gets reasonably open quite a bit. No way in the world I would consider cutting him.
  13. Thanks, mannc. That's pretty much what I've been saying for all of training camp, especially since the concussion. The Bills are right to gamble on his health because when he is injury free, he's dynamite.
  14. Nice post, Coach55, shows that unlike some of the opinions on the board, Manual´s stats were not to terrifically bad. I think that I would settle for another cool Brees.
  15. Hey, if we win those six you mentioned then we'd being clicking along on a roll and the NE game would be within reach.
  16. I'd say that given full health our receivers have the potential to break into the top 10 in the league.
  17. You should know that 4.46 is pretty darned fast for a guy 6'2", 220. Not many in the league that big with that kind of speed.
  18. I don't know how much attention you are paying to the fact that that man will be attending his 3rd training camp, gaining tremendous knowledge and confidence therein. Additionally, last year he had a couple, particularly one, pretty darned impressive pre-season game. It really seems that he is a gamer, Meatheat. Throw in the fact that he is 6'2", comes in at about 220 lbs, regularly out muscles defenders, and oh yeah, runs the 40 in anywhere from 3.9 to 4.6, and we have a pretty darned impressive WR on our team. I only hope that nothing more unseen shows up to set him back again. If not I'm thinking worst case scenario for him is to spend most of this year getting re acclimated and then claim sole possession of #2 next year.
  19. No way Jose! There are other fish in the pond just a hair under him. Go for one of them!!
  20. Just surprising that you would pick a guard when you are set in the middle. Tackle...yes, guard...no!
