I’ve followed these boards for a long time but hardly ever post. However, at this time I just feel a push to give my opinion on a controversial subject – who plays on the D, and can it develop into a championship unit. I feel that we potentially have a very strong defense. If all goes well (a major hope on my part) I believe that we could have a defense, coupled with a strong offense, to carry us a long way in the playoffs. This is what I’d like to see within, more or less, the following 3 or 4 weeks. Defensive ends Starters …Joey Bosa – Greg Rousseau; Backups...A. J. Epenesa – Michael Hoecht Defensive tackles Starters…Ed Oliver – Deone Walker; Backups...DaQuan Jones – Larry Ogunjobi Linebackers Starters...Terrel Bernard –Matt Milano; Backups...Dorian Wiiliams – Shaq Thompson Slot Starter…Tyron Johnson – Backup - Cam Lewis Corners Starters…Maxwell Hairston – Christian Benford…Backups...Tre White - Cam Lewis Safeties Starters…Cole Bishop – Jordan Hancock… Backups...Jordan Poyer – Taylor Rapp

Okay, maybe I'm missing something but why no updates on the Bills/Bears joint practice? I went over to the Bears website, and they have extensive coverage of the practice. Of course they are very prejudiced, so I'd like something Bills oriented.

Any chance that the Hoechst and Ogunjobi suspensions get reviewed and possibly cut?

Anyone on the Bills you think could be traded?

Worth a lot more if we play more man coverage. -
And the MVP? Don't care about that?
-
So why was Amari Cooper traded twice in his prime?
Deadstroke replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course, he never had Josh Allen throwing him footballs before. Now he does, so we'll see, but I'm thinking this looks like a pretty good combo. -
Whatever the terms and prices I am a huge Bills, and NFL in general, fan and watch everything available.
-
Am I missing something about practices? The schedule calls for practice today at 9:45, but I see nothing so far at almost 10:00.
-
What's the schedule after August 10?

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

This thing about seriously doubting Coleman because of speed is really getting to me. Yeah, 4.61 stinks, although various reports indicate that he may actually be in the mid 4.5 range, but just look at the shots of him in the workouts. The man is quick, strong, coordinated, very sharp making his moves and goes to the ball aggressively! With his size and aggressiveness, when it comes to short and medium range targets, I fail to see how he can be shut down. -

Am I the only one not planning on watching Chiefs/Ravens??

I will watch - for the Ravens to KICK A$$!!! -
Sunday? I was under the impression that he had to clear by 6 AM today, 36 hours prior to game time. Who knows?
-
I'm missing something here. I thought that Taron's availability status would be determined at 6 AM and that, naturally, we would know pretty much right away; go, or no go. Any info yet?🤔

I hope that Beane stops listening to McDermott when drafting

Not to mention, Milano. -
It’s Chiefs week - and the season is on the line
Deadstroke replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Could be true, but lest you forget, the Bills do have a potentially high scoring offense themselves. -
Well, Taron is obviously the big one.

I hate to be too dense on this but I'm having a hard time reading into the latest injury report. By that I am specifically referring to the state of health of our DB's. Yesterday's report said that Taylor Rapp and Taron Johnson were LP. Any further word/conjecture on that? Quite a time to have as much in the way of pass defense as possible. Having Rapp and Johnson in the lineup would be huge.

The guy's a 4.31. 4.31!! That's not just fast, it's up there with the league's fastest. He played well in pre-season, so what am I missing here? Seems like on a team with mediocre team speed that giving him a shot is a no brainer.
