  1. Harris was franchised. But to play the game I think RT is weaker than ILB, that is assuming Poz comes back.
  2. Talk has been there'd be a 3 or so day period for teams to sign their own free agents.
  3. Arthur Blank may agree: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AlguyPj_AcNiIad.O0NfeopDubYF?slug=pfw-20110721_blank_optimistic_owners_will_ratify_cba_holds_hope
  4. Wouldn't shock me, at this point he's probably even with or being passed over by guys like Moats, Batten and Coleman. Also, I wouldn't mind replacing Poz with a guy like Nick Barnett.
  5. Does Green Bay sign alot of high profile free agents? The only 2 of note on their current team is Charles Woodson or Ryan Pickett. Neither of which were in high demand when they reached free agency, and they had to overpay.
  6. I think the Bills definately need safety help if Whitner walks. I think the Bills, with Sanders & Otogwe visiting before the CBA expired, agree with me. Weddle would be a great replacement and the Merriman connection can't hurt.
  7. Not right tackles, at least not typically, or at least not players who don't have potential at left tackle to start.
  8. Are all free agents right now. I could see Maybin getting cut from that group of OLBs.
  9. If Mike Adams, Ohio State OT, is in the supplemental draft I'd definitely give up a 4th round pick for him. Perhaps even a 3rd. Perhaps a 7th for Pryor.
  10. Their drafting 2 ILBs has likely moved him outside. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2011/5/6/2156991/danny-batten-buffalo-bills-olb-nfl-draft
  11. Add to it 2010's victory coming back down 31-14 at half. The Kelsay TD from that game was awesome.
  12. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salary_cap#Salary_cap_in_the_NFL A big part of reaching the cap floor for alot of teams is the use of "dead money" however. Not sure if the players were trying to get rid of the use of that in the cap calculation.
  13. Isn't Thomas Howard a 43 OLB as well? Appears as though he didn't start for the Raiders last year, recording only 10 tackles.
  14. No, Jets placed the Franchise Tag on him before the CBA expired. FA LBs are pretty weak this year. Poz is probably the best, also available could be Stephen Tulloch, Kirk Morrison or Barrett Ruud.
  15. They don't have anyone on the roster who is better. Who is better in free agency that they will sign?
  16. No other team offered anything, they never had the opportunity to, the free agency period hasn't started yet.
  17. I don't disagree. Wasn't saying I think Wrotto is the answer, just saying I find it surprising there are claims that Pears is when Wrotto was the starter for a larger portion of the season. I would love to see a Marshal Yanda signing.
  18. So 3 years then? I'm surprised that Pears is the answer as well. Wrotto started 7 games at RT, seemed to solidify the position after it was deemed that Green was terrible, and had his contract extended after the season was over. Seems like it'd be his job to lose coming in to camp.
  19. So if he hasn't been a starter since '08, wouldn't that only be 2 years since he's been a full time starter? The 2009 & 2010 seasons?
  20. I don't think RT is a position that Buddy & Co value all that highly. Wrotto was resigned and started 7 games at RT before being injured. My assumption is that between Wrotto, Pears, Wang and Hairston their RT is already on their roster.
  21. I'd be disappointed if his replacement is a 3rd round rookie.
  22. Hard to take that out of context. He also used a "gay slur" in reference to Goodell. He obviously has issues. He's also incapable of realizing that his fines escalated with each infraction. But instead claims it is racism. It's no wonder that he didn't learn his lesson and continued to rack up the fines. The Steelers have a history of not dealing with much BS from their players, I wonder if they consider kicking him to the curb.
