  1. Indications are that they offered him a contract, so Nix must have some interest.
  2. Wilfork is a 2 gap NT, Williams is not. Disagree with the design of the defense, but not all 34 defenses are played the same. Williams was asked to maintain 1 gap and be a penatrator, Wilfork is a 2 gap player.
  3. He was arrested and suspended for 4 games, any fan of any team would have a problem with one of their players missing games. Also, he's the one who held out of OTAs and requested a trade.
  4. In comparison, Gary Brackett signed 5years-$33M last offseason- an avg of $6.6M per year. Derrick Johnson also signed 6yrs-36.47M during the season. Poz is probably worth about the same. Also, it's not like they're cap or cash strapped, they don't need to cut Kelsay in order to sign someone else.
  5. Fairly certain all parties involved were joking.
  6. When was this noted? All I recall is: http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2011/2/25/2012790/jamaal-charles-cj-spiller-chan-gailey
  7. I think that's fair, but if the scheme they ultimately want to run is the 34 why not switch to it and let the current guys sink or swim in it to get that transition year out of the way early in the rebuild. Also, alot of the quote came off as petty. It's impossible to comeback since you don't know what team he's from, but all teams have missed from time to time on free agents and the $3M they lost on Green is nothing compared to some of the guaranteed money thrown around out there.
  8. Wow, that "scout" has alot of venom for Buddy, wonder what he did to piss him off?
  9. How are so many 1st time coaches and new staffs graded so much higher than the Bills head coach and coaching staff? What about "Raider Nation" gives them a 7 for intangibles? How do the Bills get a 1 for front office but the Redskins, with their meddling owner, an 8? They also gave the 'skins a 5 for owner. The Cardinals got points for a potential QB. You could nitpick it to death and reassign points here and there, but probably easier to realize that it's meaningless offseason fluff and that the Bills probably belong in the bottom third of the league.
  10. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/14427502/bills-sign-heard-off-raiders-practice-squad-waive-williams
  11. He had to have finished the year on the active roster in order for the Bills to have signed him from the Raiders PS. I assume he's better than Lonnie Harvey and will be competing with Jasper & Spencer Johnson for a roster spot.
  12. That's if it's deemed legal: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/05/31/supplemental-draft-could-be-next-front-in-nfl-nflpa-legal-battle/ If it is though, OT Mike Adams sounds the most intruiging of all the guys they've talked about, at least from a position of need standpoint: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Ohio-State-takedown-could-lead-to-robust-supplem;_ylt=AsV2oJUHx7Zu3YUZMaV.iHRDubYF?urn=nfl-wp2257 Info on Adams
  13. Missing Chandler on the TE depth chart, not that he's anything great, but I think he's the current starter. Is Stupar gone as well? Edit: seems like you don't have any of the RFAs or unsigned UFAs, which makes sense. I just don't think they're planning on going into camp with that bunch as their TEs.
  14. If this is the attitude that the team has in deciding to do it, I think that's the definition of a loser attitude. I can't see the fans seeing how the operation is run as a positive either, and it serves as a distraction to the players and coaches during perhaps the most important time of the season.
  15. Obviously depends on the rules that are being played, but I think there are quite a few OTs in free agency this year: Tyson Clabo, Doug Free, Matt Light, Jermon Bushrod, Willie Colon, Ryan Harris, Marshal Yanda, Jeromy Clary, Charlie Johnson and Ryan O'Callaghan could all be UFAs and be an immediate upgrade at RT. I like D Bell at LT.
  16. He was listed at 6-4 249lbs at the combine, which are trustworthy numbers to go by at that point in time. Perhaps he lost weight, but I doubt he got shorter since then.
  17. I'm sure they're thankful for the free publicity due to the lawsuit however. RiverFenix was another band, eventually changed their name to Fenix TX due to a cease and desist order. Regardless of their name, they suck.
  18. If they're playing a 3-4 nobody needs to trim down. Edwards & Dareus are your DEs with Williams at Nose.
  19. There are more than 1 WR on the field at a time. Evans & Roscoe have both had better years than Nelson, Jones, Easley & Roosevelt combined. So as the post you replied stated, dropping Evans, even if he is only the #2 WR, or Parrish makes the WR corps weaker.
  20. From Twitter: These workouts have @marcelldareus worn out! http://lockerz.com/s/104805351
  21. Supply and Demand. How is a $40k Business Office job with the Bills any different than a $40k Business Office job with M&T, Rich Products, Paychex or Geico? Similar degree requirements, similar skillsets, same pay. Why would the benefit expectations be any different when the companies revenue is expected to be lowered?
  22. Because you won't have enough time to make up the losses from missed games.
