  1. Herman had no losing seasons.
  2. He's not. Someone upstream speculated that it was possible he could.
  3. Dang!--and I KNEW that! Sorry, bro.
  4. "Must" in the vernacular. But yes could be. There's no harm in speculating: such threads naturally encourage it, given no details even in a second thread on the same topic. It's not as though anyone here is infringing on privacy. It's a legitimate topic of discussion.
  5. Must be a stroke.
  6. He would have to admit he is a serial sexual predator and molester of nonconsenting women before he could accuse his former employer of wrongfully abetting him in this. That's probably not the best legal advice...
  7. Like Bills v. Jags?
  8. None of that seems to translate into significant NFL success for these QBs. Texas hasn't been very relevant for years, despite the HS talent in the state.
  9. It always seems odd to me that too QB recruits with NFL aspirations would head to schools like Texas and OSU.
  10. Will he play as soon as he wants at Texas? Will Manning?
  11. I did, none of them hint at Watson saying Houston knew or should have known that he was an uncontrollable serial sexual predator. Wouldn't Watson have to admit this is what he is in order to bring such a law suit against the Texans wouldn't he?
  12. lol you said he went to OSU because QBs like to play for Ryan Day! Sark was a dud last year--his season included a loss to the Kansas (1-8) Mens basketball team (56-57)...at home. Herman (another Broyles Award winner) had 4 Bowl wins in 4 seasons---and they fired him.
  13. Why Texas though? It's not QB school.
  14. a few yes
  15. lol...Japan. Couldn't pick a worse example for your retort to that guy's post.
  16. Manning wouldn't be playing in the SEC until his Junior year. I thought Ewers was going to be lighting it up at OSU...
  17. USFL wasn't bad enough for the gambling addicts??
  18. Browns replaced the guy who said he would never play for them again with the guy who said he would never play for his last team.....then molested dozens of women. Haslam easily the worst owner in the league
  19. As though Browns fans are suddenly down on their team over this…
  20. More experience? Nah---clearly it was the modern baseball. So the Babe had the best training of his time, yet he was still overweight, ate poorly and drank heavily, and, as your citation helpfully points out: many people still saw him as an out of shape slob. Oh, yeah, he also had VD.
  21. 1. You claimed Ruth put up huge HR numbers when they were playing, essentially, with wadded up used teabags wrapped in rubber bands dipped in cow dung. The truth is his number became what they were only after the modern ball came into the game. 2. that pitchers have always doctored the ball is indisputable. still do, or try to. So what? 3. changed his swing? that's not unique. he changed it to just hit homers, which the modern ball now allowed as not before. 4. the number of ball used today is huge per game---a very large % of them are simply rejected by a pitcher without even facing a batter. https://theathletic.com/3325753/2022/05/26/guardians-tigers-baseballs-used/ 5. I don't see how modern training would make Ruth a different athlete. He seemed to have no inclination for it--in fact, famously abused his body with booze.
