  1. Murray's agent would have gone aggressively after that deal because Murray wanted that deal, confident he was worthy of it. It wouldn't make sense that only the agent, and not the team's FO, would take into consideration the potential for injury when demanding or offering a certain contract amount. If the Cardinals were as worried about Murray's next injury they wouldn't have given him that crazy deal. Having said that, certainly the Ravens have Jackson's injury prone nature in mind in current negotiations. There's no agent who could make that go away.
  2. I get that. But this guy seems to grade out as a pass rusher, not as a guy who drops back in coverage. My point was that these same things were said about Edmunds (athletic, "rangy"), yet the debate raged for 5 years as to whether he was that good (ultimately, Bills decided he was not worth his market rate).
  3. we heard this about Edmunds for 5 years. now he's gone. why repeat this scenario?
  4. Do you think his agent would have forced him somehow to accept a deal offered?
  5. Sanders has one year as a starter and every e v a l questions his tackling ability
  6. let the Pakula kids have a crack at the Sabres….
  7. They each have a single career playoff win. Jackson wasn't good in the playoffs (I didn't suggest otherwise), but 4 passing TDs over 3 playoff games (in 2 of the games he had a whopping total of 101 attempts completing only 59%)...stinks. Watson isn't taking the Browns to the SB, no matter how much you triple down on it
  8. With new suckers as league owners. I haven't found any money details for the XFL rights deal, but even with the massive TV reach of Disney/ESPN, the ratings have been a disaster. There's nothing stopping them from doing this right now.
  9. Watson won't see a championship game. "The right group" is the Browns? No...Watson has an idiot for an owner. That's the difference.
  10. How's that working out for him? He can't even get the attention of his OC. Also, "self serving fans" (regular working people) would not consider 56 total touches for $4 million in half a season a "grind"....
  11. Watson is 31-28 (Jackson is 45-16). Both are 1-2 in the playoffs for their careers.
  12. It's not hard to put in a half decent vet to get to Sherfield's numbers. Gesicki was underutilized because....well, with 2 guys generating nearly unprecedented (only 2 other duos in NFL history have had more yards in a single season) yardage, they didn't need to call the TE's number very often. Cedric Wilson is right there for those crumbs. This was my point...beyond Waddle/Hill, they don't need much else.
  13. I was being facetious. Resinged a bunch of old band members on short contracts.
  14. what else do they need? that combo had almost 3100 yards and 300 targets.
  15. Forget the fans in the stands, the TV ratings are historically bad--even compared to previous iterations of these bogus leagues. 8 weeks in, they had a single game with over a million viewers. Week 7 featured a matchup that boasted the lowest TV ratings ever for a televised pro football game (177,000 viewers).
  16. Probably the Bills boldest off-season ever...
  17. Chaos pouring the RAS into the random thread generator!!
  18. Forgot "Monet"
  19. Brown is proof...
  20. Is this one of those “prosperity gospel” joints?
  21. Correct. Magic Johnson will be a sliver owner
  22. Yes, that is what I'm talking about. The Dolphins ownership "group" includes Serena and Venus Williams, Fergie, Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony......
