Fair enough. I know Gruden was not a fan for sure. But RG III has not re -established himself as a starting QB at this point and looks like will be relegated as a no 2 for the rest of his career.
Are you implying that RG III was ruined by by Shanny and Gruden? I would posit that RG III was primarily a .gimmick QB that couldn’t adjust once read option was figured out
If thats who i think it is , I can shorten that.
Strengths
Strong Arm. Better than average mobility
Weaknesses
Poor accuracy. Hospitality tents should be afraid of him. Cannot read a defense . Has the pocket presence of Bambi. Runs lack authority. Often looks more like a headless chicken when he takes off with the ball .
Bottom Line
Massive project. Likely would be a decent backup if his accuracy and ability to dissect a defense can be improved.
From a radio update this morning, sounds like he has been pretty active in practice and now only needs the independent neuro guy to sign off on him playing.
I did find those entertaining to read. I even remember one poster who for the longest time had a sig about how excited he was to see how EJ would do under Rex Ryan and Greg Roman
During the season that the Eagles won the Super Bowl, Peters was out of the lineup by Oct due to injury. Many teams get to Super Bowl with less than stellar LT talent. Heck even Arizona almost won one with Bills castoff turnstile LT Mike Gandy.
You are implying that Peterman isn't any good? But he was picked up and kept on the roster by a super bowl winning Coach. Also , a number of TBDers insist that Peterman is a very competent quarterback that just needs the right chance.
This reminds me of how a number of folks used to tout Tim Tebow's extremely high QBR in the 4th quarter as proof that "he just wins" . Thankfully, Josh looks a lot better as a QB currently than Tebow ever did.
If he continues to fly on private jets, pays for a private chef and thousands in grocery bills each week, and keeps his posse, money will become tight without revenue coming in.
