Nothing changes till Ralph is gone
sharper802 replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When RW is gone so are the Bills... -
Which dud will say they saw some positives?
sharper802 replied to BillsfaninFl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I saw nothing positive but it is possible the Bills just played two of the top 5 teams in the NFL. -
This year's draft picks aren't even on the field.
sharper802 replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How often are third round picks inactive two games in a row?? Trade Stroud, Whitner, and a RB for picks. Let Carrington and Wilson play. Just pick multiple LB's and OL in next years draft. -
I have two cats. I love my grandparents as well but wouldn't want them in charge of their own finances let along a multi-million dollar company.

Lynch and the QB Depth Chart
sharper802 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lynch is the back-up RB. Fitz is the back-up QB. Am I missing something? There is no dispute. Trent is the best of the worst combination of QB's in the NFL. How frickin bad must Levi Brown have been to not beat out one of these guys.... Holy crap. -
Are Bills games really that family unfriendly?
sharper802 replied to jonramz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am a life long Bills fan and taking my kids to the Oct 10th game against Jax in Buffalo. I expect they will have a good time and we should be able to keep them safe and avoid any rude behavior. But I will have no quams about getting someone tossed from the stadium if they are acting like an ass. Everyone knows the line. -
Vincent Jackson to hit the trade market...
sharper802 replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because although Steve Johnson is awful the RT situation is worse. If a trade for picks or players(Lynch, Jackson, McGee) is to happen let it be for a RT please. Couldn't you make the same arguemnet about Terrence Mcgee? Florence and McKelvin can man the corner spots. Why not move McGee for a LB or RT? -
Are Bills games really that family unfriendly?

I am bringing my 7 and 8 year old sons to the Jax game. I am 39 years old. If anyone is drunk and rude to my kids or won't sit down when they are supposed to I am reporting them to security. Go ahead call me names but I am flying across the country and paying a lot of money to go to the game. If someone wants to get drunk stay at home or at least be a happy drunk. Why should my fun be ruined by someone acting like an ass? You all know there are many fans that act that way. We are no better and no worse than any other fans. You have never been to a college football game then. They are just as bad. If you sit in or near the old alumni section then maybe it is ok. Anywhere else it is one big drunken party. I went to Ohio State and heard some of the worst things I have ever heard directed at the other teams's players and fans. Now OSU may be one of the worst but I have many friends from many other schools that say it is exactly the same. -
Are we the worst team in the NFL??
sharper802 replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. Is it a point of pride that they may be better than Oakland, Cleveland, and Tampa Bay??? -
Stop. Just stop. Meredith can't even play LT let alone RT. Bell is doing ok at LT. Levitre can't play LT in the NFl for long stretches. Howard is a PS player on every other team in the NFL. Urbik is interior line depth. In fact when Urbik knows the entire offense Howard likely will be let go for a RT prospect from another teams PS. Other than that it is great.

Players go where the money is. Period. That is it. The only guys that don't are way past their prime players like LT going to the Jets. The good teams like the Patriots get rid of aging vets. Buffalo has attracted many FA's and paid them well. They just happened to have sucked as players. Dockery was the highest paid Bill for a while. He sucked.

This guy had to have been on steroids at some time in his life if not during every off season. His body just was not built to be in the NFL. His muscles tear apart where other guys get bumps, bruises, and sprains. I don't care how much he throws his body around. It has to be more than bad luck.

Final Word on Evans(#1?) vs Edwards
sharper802 replied to PDaDdy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't you know they bought the extra special Sunday tix. They get to send play calls directly to the QB's helmet. They didn't see ****. They have no idea waht the play call was supposed to be. Most of the time when a WR is seen running open it is because the ball has already been thrown to a differnet spot on the field. -

sharper802 replied to PDaDdy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everyone wants Trent to throw the Ball to Evans and let him battle for it. How tall is Evans 5'11" on a good day? Does he strike you as a WR that would muscle the ball away from a defender? He has very good hands but he is just not that type of WR. Fade patterns have to be perfectly thrown to him and actually caught on a much steeper downward trajectory. You can't throw a jump ball pattern in the end zone to him. It is BS to say he won't go over the middle. He doesn't design or call the pass plays. He doesn't strike me as a guy that wants to avoid contact but perhaps due to his smaller frame the coaches have limited his crossing routes. I don't have any idea how open or covered Evans was on any of the pass plays nor do any fans have a clue where the ball was supposed to be thrown. And of the deep balls that were to go to Evans how many times was it a pass rush or a Trentative issue. No one knows. If pass interference does not happen on that one long ball and it is caught for a huge gain or a TD no one would be talking about this. The Bills got jobbed on that non-call. Evans only had a step on the DB and Trent still put it up there. Why not give Gailey's offense a few more games? And honestly wouldn't you just play 8 in the box and the other 3 defenders on Evans to stop the Bills. Steve Johnson is a joke and the TE situation is even worse. -

Agreed. Parrish should be starting at number 2 WR. -
Marshawn Lynch 'is not available'
sharper802 replied to earthtobrint's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills need proven players. The only way they should trade Lynch or a DB before the trade deadline is for a player that has already shown some ability. -
I think this is a completely reasonable thought. McKelvin is ready to be the starter. The Bills desperately need a playmaker at WR. Salaries might not match up that well but dumping McGee's salary will help offset Jackson's salary demands.

Who would you start at RT?
sharper802 replied to Chris in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are no options other than Green to start at RT on the current roster. I am sure they have some emergency plan if Green is hurt. However there are no other prototypical RT's on the roster. I would not put Meredith or Wang at RT. With any luck Bell continues to do well at LT(Ithink he played decent last week) and Wnag serves as back-up the next few years. This season is a lost cause and nearly everyone except Nix and Gailey have given up on Trent. The sole purpose of the next 15 games in my opinion is to determine whether it is OL, QB, or LB taken in the first round of the draft next year. -
Reggie Bush to be stripped of Heisman
sharper802 replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How did RB's parents getting a house and him getting cars/cash make him the best player in college? He didn't tkae PED's. He should keep the trophy. I would bet my left nut Vince Young got a lot of free and inappropriate stuff too. BTW I think the players should be paid. NCAA makes billions off these guys and only a handful ever make it to the Pros. I just can't see how it is fair Tim Tebow's likeness can be used by EA sports and not be paid for it. One day an athlete is going to blow out his knee and sue the NCAA. I can't see how the NCAA will be able to defend itself. -
Interesting Rumor on BB.com Message Board
sharper802 replied to coastalpika's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do the Bills need another underperforming player from Ohio State? Do they need another white LB? -
Exactly how many RB's are still good at age 32 let alone 33 or 34 which Jackson will be in 3-4 yrs???
-
Are those the same ones that say Jim Kelly is going to buy the team?
-
What evidence do you have that he was a figurehead? Most people think RW is a cheap bastard. Why would he pay Levy to just be a figurehead. He obviously picked the HC. Why would he not have had final say over other areas. Maybe DJ's authority grew over time but Marv is the one to blame for this mess.

No Urbik is a guard as is Simmons. There are no good FA options for RT. The only hope is to move a DB or RB for an OT. Somewhere on some team there is a player that may not be starting that can be had in a trade that is better than Green. I would guess half the back-up tackles in the league are better than Green. Go get one. Don't confuse him with details.....
