  1. Oldest player on defense does not have enough life/time left in his career to see the team get better. Kolb already has more 300 yard passing games than any QB on the team. Spiller was meant to be Jackson..my bad no excuses
  2. Oopps I was still intoxicated. I meant Lynch/Jackson..... I need to be to cut off after four drinks before typing a post....
  3. You can't lockout only the current players. A lock-out would involve all players and there will be no games. If the players striked then the owners could hire players that would cross the union line. As has been written in many articles, decertifying the union is just a legal maneuver. I believe it allows the players to sue the owners more quickly in the event there is a lock-out. If the union still existed then there is some sort of waiting period. It has nothing to do with solidarity and nothing to do with scab football games. Please try reading a real article in the news instead of just blogs....
  4. I know another pathetic trade post... Kolb looks like he has a future. I would trade a 2nd and Trent for Kolb, or a 3rd and Lynch/Spiller. Next move Whitner or Mcgee plus a low round draft pick for Vincent Jackson Draft a tackle, OLB, and a center next year. As a bonus I would move Stroud and/or Kyle Williams for a draft pick next year. Let Carrington/McCargo and Troup play. Lastly cut Kelsay and just start Maybin.
  5. Did you see Hang man get abused on the first Mathews sack. He was pushed to the side by Mathews arm. It was awful. I agree with almost everything you said. I do think Levitre most likely is a better option at G instead of tackle. However I would bet he would play better at T than either Meredith or Green, left or right. When Bell needs a spell I would move Levitre to LT and bring in Howard or Urbik if he is ready. Meredith is god awful. I too think Wood is not back and worry that he may never fully recover. Hopefully a year from now he regains his lower body strength. IMO Bell has played fine.
  6. I thought Howard looked pretty good. I actually thought he looked good enough to consider a couple switches. One could be Levitre to RG and Wood to C. Hangman is awful. The other would be Levitre to RT. I like this less but Green is worse than Hagman. Not sure Levitre can play RT.
  7. I really do not believe Brohm is any good. But I know Fitz is garbage in the long run. I would not mind Brohm getting a series of starts to see if there is anything there. I just don't think it is wise to start him on the road against the Pats. Honestly after two more lossses and bad outings by Fitz I would be ok with Brohm starting against Jax. As another person posted Gailey can prove to Nix/RW that they need to draft a QB in the first or second round next year and probably bring in a Bulger/Hasselbeck for a year or two to give the rookie time.
  8. Collins, Flutie, Johnson, Bledsoe, Losman, Edwards, Fitzpatrick, Brohm Any further explanation needed?
  9. When they leave I will watch college FB. Outside of Bills games there are only about one or two more games worthy of watching. Look at last week. Maybe Jets/Pats was of some interest. I couldn't have cared less about any other game. I guess Minn/Miami and the Manning Bowl had interest for some but not me. I will take Ohio St-Miami, Ohio St.- USC, Texas-Oklahoma, Florida Gerogia, Alabama Auburn over almost all NFL games.
  10. It was over when they chose Spiller instead of upgrading the OL or LB's.
  11. Because a PS player left the team???? You really think that matters in the grand scheme? Who was the third RB behind Lynch Jackson last year? Nobody. If they want to move Lynch they can pick up a scrap somewhere and make him third string behind Jackson/Spiller. Still would rather they move Jackson but I am sure they can get more for Lynch.
  12. Any chance this guy is hurt? He doesn't look faster than anyone out there. I hope there is more or he will be yet another colossal FU in the first round. I have never given Jackson his due. I still think Lynch should start but Jackson has the best vision on the team. He seems to have the best feel for when to cut back and how to get the extra 1-3 yards. TD run was good example. A less patient Spiller may have chosen the gap between the FB and TE. Instead Jackson waited for McIntyre to finish the block and had the corner all to himself. Why is he not back there with Spiller returning KO's?
  13. Still has two years on his contract. He isn't walking anywhere.
  14. And the offensive line situation makes it impossible to judge the QB. And the OL makes it impossible to judge the HC. It will be two years before what Marv and DJ did to this team can be undone. For that reason it makes no sense to keep McGee, Stroud, or Jackson around. Trade them for anything. I would be ok with them drafting two QB's and 3 OL and 3 LB's next year.
  15. The Parrish pick is Edwards fault? In what parallel reality? That was a designed play call to get Parrish the ball in space. Could/should have Trent seen the coverage and audibled out of the play - in hindsight obviously yes. Parrish still should have caught the ball and it would have been 3rd and long.
  16. I saw that too. I couldn't tell if the defender had left Parrish because the ball was already on the way to Johnson or not. Parrish looked wide open up the seam. That play seemed one missed safety tackle away from a huge gain.
  17. Just stop yourself. The Bills are only profitable because they don't have any good players to pay large contracts to and are subsidized by the larger market teams. The NFL can move this team to Oklahoma City and double the profit. It is just a fleeting heartbeat away.
  18. It is worse than what you posted. McCargo didn't even dress. Whitner dropped a 97 yard INT TD. He talks garbage after being late to a play on a dropped ball and had at least three more dirty plays. Wood may never recover from that injury. Spiller pick should have been an OL, LB or trade down. And leaving out Losman ignores the lost years thinking he was going to be an NFL QB. Also don't forget the picks given up to move back into the first round for McCargo or could have been had moving down in the first round(well documented in Whitner's case).
  19. Name another team with a worse collection of units in the NFL. QB's - all garbage TE's - even with Nelson they are horrible. Why is Stupar even on the field. LB's - my god. There are as many DE's and should be safeties playing LB as there are true LB's. OL - Worst RT and Center in the league. Bell is average at best. WR's - I don't think Evans cares anymoe not that I can blame him. Holy f&*%&( how did it get this bad????????????
  20. I think you are disrespecting the TE's, LB's and WR's. They need to be in that discussion as well.
  21. They allowed Cleveland to move and their fan base is just as good as the Bills. Keep living in your fantasy world that the fans mean anything to the NFL. All we are is a check card to them. Find anohter city with the ability to buy more PSL's and luxury boxes and the team is gone. It will suck but it is hopeless....
  22. Agreed. If no wins by the bye week I am switching to watching college exclusivley. There are about three NFL games worth watching this week. There were twenty in college and it was a bad week for college match-ups. I would take Boise St./Oregon St. over all but a handful of NFL games next week. I would give my left but to beat NE and Brady next week though. I just can't quit you Buffalo...
  23. Because they did for Cleveland and Baltimore right???? Only time they did Al DAvis sued and won. The NFL would like nothing more than the Bills in LA, Oklahoma City, Toronto, or another city that isn't dead or dying...
