If you think which RB started the game had any impact on the final result you are clueless. All the RB's had chances and Lynch did as well or better than Jackson. It doesn't matter which RB starts or plays when the line can't open a hole, McIntyre gets a holding penalty on a good Jackson run, and there is no NFL level TE on the roster. Add in Trent at QB and the offense is ****. It will be until they fix the line and get a QB with more hair on his scrotum than his face.

Lee Evans has break away speed, runs good routes, and generally has good hands. He is a solid number 1 on 25 of the teams in the NFL. WR's can't catch the ball if it isn't thrown to them.

They should have drafted a QB earlier than the 7th round this year. They should have drafted a QB last year to compete with Trent. They should have gone after Brees as has been documented in the past. They should have claimed Leinart on waivers. I would sign Troy Smith this week now that his salary would not be guaranteed. Unless Luck comes out I would not take Mallet or Locher and instead take an OT or LB in round one.

How do you know Brohm has any talent? Why would Gailey not let the best QB play? He didn't draft any of these guys. In fact he cut the only guy he may have had a hand in drafting. Get off the Brohm wagon. He sucks. If the Bills had cut him and kept a sixth WR or extra offensive lineman he would be out of a job.

Gailey knows if Trent missed the reads or refused to throw downfield to open guys. I think Trent has 2-4 games left to show improvement or he is done. It appears to Gailey there is really a big seperation between Edwards and Fitz.

Yes you are confused. If the WR has a chance to look around he has completed the catch and made a second act. WR's must make a football move or control the ball all the way to the ground for it to be a catch. If Santonio Holmes had dropped or even bobbled the ball in the Superbowl it would have been reversed.

Easy call. That is not a catch. Classic definition of the rule. In fact if you had to draw up a play to define the rule any better you couldn't.

Dude that's the rule. WR's need to control the ball all the way through the catch. The offense already gets about every advantage over the defense. Making them actually catch the ball seems fair.

Vick was sacked much more behind a better offensive line in Atlanta. We should have traded for a competent RT and a TE.

A 7th round pick is starting and two UDFA's are the 4th and 5th WR's. I will defend Evans but he is not Marshall. Just too many positions with lack of NFL talent to fix in one year. A superstar QB could cover up some of these deficiencies like we will see next week. Trent will never be that guy.

Green has to be the worst pass blocking RT in the league. He is a below average run blocker. Bell played well. As already pointed out, it was Meredtih that gave up the sack. Bell's worst play was the draw play when he didn't get enough push on the DE or OLB and was looking to make a block at the second level too early. Maybe that guy is Levitre's responsibility I don't know. No chages for now barring a trade. 5 games from now let Wang get 2-3 series per game.

Kelsay is frickin awful. Maybin should be starting. This team isn't going anywhere and he needs as many reps as possible at OLB. He looked decent today. A good QB hurry, double teamed a couple times, amazing speed after rushing the QB. Long locked him up one on one most times but he is a ProBowl LT(all be it injured) Give him more snaps Whitner just doesn't make plays and IMO he plays dirty. He is never in position to make a play. Wasn't even decent in run support today. Play Wilson/Scott with Byrd. McElvin is inexperienced. He looks like he has some serious talent. Keep giving him playing time. I like him outside and letting Florence cover the slot guy more. Either way keep rotating him in to keep McGee and Florence fresh. Lb's are awful. Fly to Texas and bring Schobel back. Kyle Williams is too small. He plays well. Don't get me wrong I like the guy. But can we please play Troup on obvious run downs. He is 30 pounds heavier. I will eat some crow here. Jackson needs the ball more. Jackson should be on the field in almost all two back situations. Green is awful. Trade anybody for a servicable RT or just let Wang/Meredith start. I would give Trent one more game and that is it. I know most would say bench him now but let's see what he does against GB's 3-4 and their corners. If he plays as bad as he did today then cut him and resign Levi.

The question with Jauron is why? Why bring in TO then get rid of at least a mediocre OC that might actually know how to use him? Unfortunately accuracy does not get better when college QB's go to the pros and accuracy is one of the better(none are any good) predictors of NFL success. Much more so than winning record, TD passes, and arm strength. He will in 2012 which is when he will come out for the draft assuming Harbaugh stays. If Harbaugh goes to Michigan or an NFL team Luck probably will enter the draft.

It is not a problem with Kelly. It is obvious he is playing the cheerleader role. I just find it incredible how weak journalism has become. This is the same story over and over. You would be wise not to underestimate Oakland. Weak division and much improved QB situation.

Except one of the reasons to switch to a 3-4 is to disguise b litz packages. No one rushes just 3 from the base defense. In nickel and dime it is still rare to just rush 4 downlineman. Corners and safeties are usually added to the rush packages.
