With that logic, Red Sox & cubs fans should have offed themselves years ago since they didn't "get what they wanted!" REAL fans, as you claim to be, are eternally optimistic, Real fans live & die with the high's and low's of their beloved team, REAL fans get excited for free agency, the combine & the draft, real fan....ugh! I could go on and on...you're not a real fan, you're a sell out!
-
Where's my red pen? Dude, you're d-bag! Please take yourself to Los Angles. Oh, and the 70k+ of us who sell out the Ralph every game will stay HERE and continue to be fans HERE! P.S. I hate you, you die...you die and go to hell!

OK, so how about swapping 1st's with Philly and giving Marshawn Lynch for McNabb & their 2nd (3rd may be more realistic)? I'm not a huge "trade Marshawn" guy, but I wouldn't be too upset with letting him loose. As far as I'm concerned Lynch is a "?" with his habit of doing something stupid & with Philly's need or a top tier running back, it's not so far fetched. B4 i get the "this is a two RB league" retort, let me say, I agree; however, most teams that have the 1-2 RB punch have different style RB's. Lynch doesn't provide a change of pace to Freddy, they're both similar backs. There's a couple kids, to be had in the later rounds in the draft tht will do so...a bruiser, a good short yardage/goaline back.

I'm more than OK with Davis or Okung...except that Kiper is the first person on the Football Planet that I've seen havingOkung not in the top 5. Not sure, but I think on one of his previous mocks he had us getting Davis @ 9 and he called it a stretch, but we pull the trigger out of need...now he's got him in the top 5 ( I could be otally wrong on that though)
-
Another first would be a stretch as no one on this team would garner that high of a pick in a trade; however, I really believ that some moves will be made to get additional draft picks.
-
Drew Brees...shoulder injury & <6'1"...don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of eitehr Bradford or Clausen, just sayn'
-
All the more reason to trade out of the top 10 ad pick up some extra picks...
-
Only because Gaither was there and is a proven contributer at LT. Why take a chance on a rookie, regardles of his "Ohership!?" He will be starting at LT for Baltimore this year.
-
Problem solved!

Yeah! The last time I checked, no one from the Bills organization actually said Edwards even has a shot at the job, not even a 50-50 shot. Some sports column writer said that...not the Bills brass. What Gailey said was, he'd give him a look...AS WELL AS QB's available in free agency & via trades...
-
Great thought, but only if it'd been any other injury. Fact is, 1/3 of all players that go down with a ruptured achilles are out of the game within 2 years. Power rankings drop through the floor and they fade into obscurity.

If you were smart you would delete this post. You are comming accross as an ignorant fool who is completely unoriginal and regurgitates what he hears on ESPN. Don't get me wrong, I also beleive theat Suh is a beast, but like Bill says, we have far to many holes to fill and we need our draft picks over the next couple years. By the way, I didn't mean to be rude, just trying to spare you of a flaming.

This "unproven" and smallschool B.S. is what's getting old...need I remind you the LeFevour (corrrect spelling, by the way) started 53 games with 12,905 passing yds, 102 TD's with a 65% completion percentage....oh, and lets not forget about the 2,948 rushing yards and 47 more TD's on the ground. That's pretty "unproven" right? And stop right there before you spew more b.s. about the level of competition...surround him with the supporting casts of Bradford, McCoy, Tebow...blah, blah, blah...and he's just as good. How about Rothlesberger (sp), another "unproven" small schooler, right? Oh, and Chad Pennington "unproven" small schooler...right? For what it's worth, Byron Leftwitch didn't have such a bad run. Another reason he may be on the Bills' radar is the fact the guy responsible for filling Pitt's rosterwith MAC QB's is now in Buffalo... Nice try, but do your homework next time...

Incredible QB story discussing Brohm and others
Armchair GM replied to F UNC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
so, in only 12 less games than LeFevour, he has 7,173 yds less, 49 TD's less, and is roughly 6% lower in comp %...yeah, he should be good... -
I love these one line rebuttals...why don't you(all) provide us with some substance in your criticism?

Seems that Cleveland made a tone of moves last year so Mangina could get all of "his" guys in there. A bunch of trades/cuts would probably serve us well. Here goes nothing... Assuming we pick up a stop gap QB [McNabb (long shot) Vick/Cambell] get what you can for Trentative and cut ties with Fitz(don't thik he'll garner much in the way of a trade)...kepp Brohm and draft our future Franchise QB. Other trade bait could be Lynch (2rd rd pick, at least a 3rd); McGee (mid round pick, maybe another 3rd); Whitner (more like a 4th rd pick). Entertain these potential UFA's: Willie Parker, Chris Chambers, Casey Hampton & Karlos Dansby and finally...(ArmChair GM Mock Draft 1.0) Rd 1 (9) Anthony Davis, LT; Rutgers. 6'6" 325lb, multi year starter at left tackle Rd 2 (41) Terrence Cody, DL (NT); Alabama. BEAST of a human being, the guy may be situational, but is a one man run stopping machine. Who else do you know that weighs 370 lb @ 6'4" and can dunk a basketball (testament to his explosiveness) *(if we get a 2nd rd 2 pick via trade...Jordan Shipley will take the place of Reed, probably a major upgrade) *I also like Darryl Washington, ILB; TCU. But, he's a bit small for the middle, only around the 240lb range. Rd 3 Dan LeFevour, QB; CMU. Prototypical NFL QB size, very mobile...the Tim Tebow of the MAC wih a better arm. Rediculous stats, including a couple/few NCAA records. *A.J. Edds' stock is rising because of a great showing at the Sr. Bowl. He always seemed to be at the right place at the right time to make a play. Plus, I saw him blow up a couple lineman. Rd 4 Ciron Black, OT; LSU. Another monster. 51 consecutive starts, 40 @ LT. They moved him to guard at the Sr. Bowl and he destroyed people. He's also the son of a preacher man & an outstanding team oriented guy. *Brandon Carter, OG; TX Tech. everything I've seen about this kid is intriguing. 6'5" 325, quick feet, good punch, rediculous athleticism. Knocks are he comes out of the 3 pt stance too low and loses his balnce easily nd tends to lean into 2nd level blocks...very coachable, big upside. Rd 5 Freddie Barnes, WR; Bowling Green St. 6' 212 lbs. Solid guy with exceptional hands and is a very crisp route runner. Lacks that flashy speed, but so does a bunch of high profile WR's in the NFL Rd6(A) Myron Rolle, SS; FSU. 6'2" 217lbs. Quick kid with great range...he's also a friggn Rhodes Scholar. Rd6(B) Joique Bell, RB: Wayne State. 5'11" 223lbs. Kids in the top 15-25 in every RB category for NCAA records. Runs low, hard to bring down & above average pass blocker. Sounds like a perfect short yardage/3rd down/goaline back to me. We've had luck with small school rushers, ie. Freddie J. Rd7 Aaron Pettrey, K; OSU. Ehhhh, he's a kicker, a pretty good one at that. Gets the ball up and has good accuracy. Practice Squad the kid until Lindel ships out. Let the flaming begin...

Bills have talked to Eagles about McNabb???
Armchair GM replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure if this is too far fetched, but why not offer to swap first rounders this year with them giving us McNabb to offset the value? Is that not enough/too much? -
Hey, I have all the respect in the world for Manning and Wayne, well...I did anyway. Not to take anything away from them, regarding how they play the game, but I think that showed an utter lack of class, sportmanship, and professionalism.

One glaring need that everyone is overlooking
Armchair GM replied to Stussy109's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wouldn't be surprised to see Chris Chambers in Buffalo, and I wouldn't mind taking a serious look @ Jordan Shipley. Shipley's a Welker clone that would more than just fill the void left be Reed. -
Actually, I believe I heard something about Schobel expressing interest in that change and something he would consider instead of retirement...
