  1. wr steve smith next ?
  2. the ONLY money figure that matters is guaranteed money. he got 28 mil guaranteed with new Orleans. I have no idea what buffalo offered, but i'm pretty sure it was a lot less.
  3. why do folks who don't want to talk about a topic, click on and post in that topic ?
  4. that LG is below average that LB is way below average. that CB is good. which used up all the money you would have paid an elite Byrd.
  5. now this is an outstanding value pick. an upgrade over robey as nickel back. solid, kudos.
  6. meanwhile the #1 AFC team adds demarcus ware, aqib talib and tj ward.
  7. hard to like the 6.5 "over" right now http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24476403/here-are-the-predicted-2014-nfl-win-totals
  8. 23 Aaron Williams S 23 6-0 199 4 Texas 27 Duke Williams S 23 5-11 201 2 Nevada 95 Kyle Williams DL 30 6-1 303 9 LSU 94 Mario Williams DL 29 6-6 292 9 North Carolina State -- Nathan Williams LB 24 6-3 249 R Ohio State -- Chris Williams OG team with the most Williams ?
  9. per rotoworld: Free agent G/T Chris Williams is visiting the Bills Wednesday. Williams started every game at left guard for the Rams last season, turning in a shaky performance at best. He'd still be a nice get for a team as a versatile backup. The o-line needy Rams reportedly remain interested as well http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/nfl/4722/chris-williams The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the Texans are interested in free agent G/T Chris Williams. Williams started all 16 games at left guard for the Rams last season, but was overmatched both as a pass protector and run blocker. http://www.fantasysp.com/player/nfl/Chris_Williams/3368971/the-st-louis-post-dispatch-reports-the-texans-are-interested
  10. A deal with Carpenter figures to be a bit easier to execute. The Bills were not allowed to sign Carpenter before today’s start of the new league year, because he played last year on a one-year veteran minimum deal that gave the Bills salary cap relief. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/bills-look-to-sign-chandler-carpenter-as-free-agent-period-set-to-begin-20140310 the franchise tag for kickers is 3.55 mil
  11. Two people familiar with a portion of the Bills' contract offer said Byrd stood to make about $30 million over the first three seasons of a multiyear deal. The full length and value of the contract; including guaranteed money; were not revealed. http://pro32.ap.org/article/ap-source-s-byrd-drawing-pre-free-agency-interest
  12. the "guarantee" part was not reported. it only said 30 mil over first 3 years with no mention of the guaranteed part. i'm hoping no offer comes in higher than the bills offer, Parker reaches back out to buffalo, but the bills tell them they have moved on.
  13. usually have to reserve about 5 mil for all rookie contracts. so that leaves 20 mil.
  14. When the salary cap jumped from $123 million to $133 million last week, some suggested it could move to $140 million in 2015 and $150 million in 2016. Think higher. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/07/cap-could-hit-160-million-in-2016/
  15. I have 10 tix between sec 110 & the rockpile sec 110 was 77 now 90 = 16.8 % increase rockpile was 25 now 30 = 20.0 % increase i'm fine with this. as far as variable price goes, it's all good. September games should cost much more than December games. like 150 vs 50
  16. my money is on Parker already knowing he has a deal lined up with another team in the first 24 hours.
  17. i'm in front of Tempo. no activity yet except for a few delivery trucks.
  18. labatt blue refreshment duo
  19. Bills fans deserve a break. Lets hope a Byrd signing a long term contract is announced tomorrow -- reddogblitz #weredoomed
