  1. give me greg hardy or suh to replace hughes and Julius Thomas at TE
  2. the bills had two primary reasons....further their regionalization efforts and a pure money grab. rogers had one primary interest....get their foot in the door on a path to ownership after ralphs passing. when ralphs wishes after his death became apparent that the team would not relocate, rogers interest in continuing the series ended.
  3. Robert Griffin III is a spoiled diva who cares more about branding himself than winning ... so says a Washington Redskins player who tells us he's not the only one in the locker room who feels this way. 'No One Believes In Him Anymore' Read more: http://www.tmz.com/2014/12/06/redskins-players-blasts-rg3-diva-robert-griffin-iii/#ixzz3L7fJLUvs
  4. Oregon guaranteed themselves a spot with a 51-13 win over #7 ranked Arizona last night. WOW on marcus mariota 5 TD's (2 pass, 3 run)
  5. Fran Tarkenton rips RG III: "he will never make it" http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24869396/fran-tarkenton-rips-robert-griffin-iii-he-will-never-make-it
  6. you do realize that your posting is having the exact opposite effect. it bumps this thread to the top of the page and attracts more attention.
  7. my hunch is there is a lot more to this story. that the trust between RG III and Gruden is broken. even before gruden, coach shanahan complained about the "direct" relationship between owner Dan Snyder and his face of the franchise QB, RG III. I bet, after his recent benching, RG III complained directly to snyder about gruden. Snyder discussed this with his GM. the GM tipped off gruden. gruden thinks RG III is trying to get him fired,
  8. as many know, i'm no fan of EJ (being our #1 QB for this season). but i'm still a supporter of his future as a solid #2 and a hopeful #1. his salary cap for 2015 is $2.4 mil and for 2016 is $2.8 (very reasonable for a #2). I will still be advocating for a "franchise" QB for our future (not named Orton or EJ). I would let his rookie contract play out and hope he shows the improvements to be a #1. I highly doubt whaley gives up on him.
  9. I know.....lets get EJ, RG III , Vick and couple other running QB's play all 5 at the same time at QB, RB, FB, TE, TE defense wouldn't know who was running or throwing.... just a thought...
  10. Report: Jay Gruden is done with Robert Griffin III In his story, Reid writes that Gruden is done with Griffin and wants him off the team. It's unclear if owner Daniel Snyder and general manager Bruce Allen agree with Gruden and will back him, but it also seems clear that Griffin's tenure with the team is shaky at best. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24865895/report-jay-gruden-is-done-with-robert-griffin-iii
  11. i'd say the fear of relocation was far more loathsome. Bonus: as a 28 year STH i didn't mind paying for one less garbage game while holding on to my seats waiting for good times to roll again.
  12. Brian Brohm says hi
  13. it opens in chrome but not internet explorer.
  14. do we control our own destiny ? if we win all 4 remaining games are we GUARANTEED a playoff spot ? or do we need help ?
  15. that could have been called "hands to the face". his left hand pushed his chest, his right hand pushed his facemask. crazy game.
  16. absolutely !! also Kyle could have been flagged for "hands to the face". his left hand pushed his chest, his right pushed his facemask.
  17. 5 years in league before elite success: for every 5 hits there are 100 misses.
  18. no matter how many teams there are, folks will argue some bubble team got screwed. heck, in NCAA basketball, apparently 64 is not enough. we need teams 65, 66, 67 & 68 in there. GO GEORGIA TECH !!
  19. athlete squanders millions. athlete not prepared for life after sports career over. athlete suffers lifelong injuries from participation in said sport. there are thousands in this position. (like our own Joe DeLamielleure ) slippery slope. god bless the generosity of those who choose to help.
  20. all QB's who like to run primarily guys who stay in the pocket
  21. Divided locker room: Many Browns players favored keeping Hoyer, left tackle Joe Thomas said, because he gives Cleveland the best chance to win. "Certainly when you start throwing guys in there trying to see what they can do, the message is, 'We're already playing for next year,'" Thomas said. "'We don't think necessarily that we can get to the playoffs this year anymore.'" The Hoyer vote was not unanimous; one Browns player told ESPN.com he was "all for" Manziel, in part because of his impressive 80-yard drive capped by a 10-yard touchdown run in last week's game. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11974726/cleveland-browns-quarterback-johnny-manziel-hopes-starting-nod-future
  22. Though Peyton Manning gets the lions share of adoration, more and more credit for Denvers offensive success is going to coordinator Adam Gase and rightfully so. Besides a prosperous recommitment to the running game over the past two weeks, Gase is one of the leagues best passing game designers and play-callers. Most overlooked is his ability to handle what coaches often refer to as receiver distribution and location. In other words, which receivers are lining up where. http://mmqb.si.com/2014/12/03/nfl-cleveland-browns-brian-hoyer-johnny-manziel-mike-pettine/
  23. sure he didn't say negative 7 ?
  24. Is Pettine making the right move? Last weeks film from Clevelands game at Buffalo says no. Manziel entered early in the fourth quarter and gave the Browns offense a noticeable jolt with his legs. And though he did not read the field with perfect aplomb, Manziel didn't read it incorrectly the way Hoyer did on multiple plays. Hoyer predetermined some throws and forced balls into coverage. He also left a few open receivers on the field, which at times made the Bills pass rush a factor when it shouldn't have been. Hoyer lacks the physical tools to overcome such deficiencies, which were also apparent two Sundays ago against the Falcons defense. http://mmqb.si.com/2014/12/03/nfl-cleveland-browns-brian-hoyer-johnny-manziel-mike-pettine/
